This review is not for the pizza, as I did not dine at Demmi’s. This review is for the concert watching atmosphere. I came in for part of the Plan B music festival. I had never been to Market on 7th before and was pleasantly surprised to see a mid sized concert venue. The beers were priced well and there was plenty of room to move around. The pizza smelled great and now I want to add Demmi’s to my list of spots to grab a late night slice in Ybor. All in all, a solid place to catch a show!

Place is awesome great… never gives us bikers any issues hanging out in front. Pizza is awesome. Great place to people watch. $ 6 for a slice and a coke…

First off, an apology to Demmi’s for never patronizing this establishment even though I live only blocks away. I dropped in on a Saturday night to get a couple slices of pizza as I heard their pizza is the best. Well, I have to say it is the best NY-style pizza I’ve had. I’ve had Eddie and Sam’s and NYNY, considered by many as the best NY-style pizza. They were good but Demmi’s was better. It wasn’t greasy, sauce had great flavor, and the crust was cooked perfectly. Aside from that, the staff was very friendly and you could tell they all like working with each other. The vibe is laidback. I went when they had local high school rock bands playing, which was entertaining. There was a lack of seating, not sure if that was due to the stage setup(good acoustics). Maybe so as they’re just a bar which sells pizza. It’s for this reason why I give them 4 instead of 5 stars. This will be a regular spot when I have a late night hankering for a slice of pizza.

Been to Ybor a million times– had never been here. Place is a little hipster, but pizza was good & beer was cold.

Pizza is usually pretty good, way understaffed !! usually empty tho, felt like I was on an episode of Bar Rescue. Would return for a slice of pizza if I was in the area but would never go out of my way to go here

Awesome and reasonably priced pizza in Ybor City! I called in to place an order of a pepperoni large pizza about 15mins before we arrived. When we got there, the pizza was done and delicious as a New York-style. Would recommend

Super awesome pizza! I always order an extra large with double cheese, pepperoni, and onions. Not your normal restaurant… they also have a live band most weekends so it can get kind of loud in here in Fridays and Saturdays. You can order a whole pizza or by the slice which makes it nice if you don’t want to take anything home.

The crust was crispy. The sauce was good. I really enjoy the pizza. I wish it was a little bit bigger.

This place makes pretty good Pizza by the slice. They are open really late, and it is usually crowded on weekend nights. This is a good stop off if you want a quick bite while clubbing in Ybor City. We have stopped here many times, and it is always consistently good.

Quiet little place for being 1:30 in the morning. Usually places in Ybor are busy at this time. However, it was a cool place to chill and take a break before moving on

Phenomenal pizza! We stopped in off the street bc I’ve heard how delicious the pizza is! Made fresh right in front of you, no re heating in a random oven somewhere in the back. Great prices even on drinks! :)

Upon first glance, one could classify this joint as a hole-in-the-wall or a dive. I can’t necessarily dispute those classifications, but I can tell you to not dismiss this pizza joint; definitely stop by. Their very random business model– cocktails & pizza– perplexed me a bit, but I cast aside my confusion. The pizza was quite good, so confusing business model or not, they know what they’re doing over at Market On 7th. Added to this, the actual facilities of the restaurant(or bar or whatever you could call this) is actually quite nice. It’s clean, very spacious, and there are bands that play on the decent sized stage. I say try them.

As I am writing this review, I am eating Demmi’s. This review is not part of their night club, it is about their Pizza. I am a Pizza SNOB. I used to dream of going to NYC to have a slice. I am going to NYC in two weeks and honestly, what is on my plate is better than what I would have up there. The sauce has chunks of Garlic. The crust is perfect. It’s all around the best pizza you can get. Only complaint? They aren’t open for lunch :(

We were too full from the Columbia to try the pizza, but it smelled damn good. Kind of a weird setup. Pizza shop with a bar and stage that had live music going on when we went. And they have Coors Light aluminum bottles. The bouncer said it would be $ 7 to watch the band on the stage 50 feet from the entrance, but you could still stay inside with access to the bar and watch the band. Um, okay? You could also go to the bathrooms which were BEHIND the stage at no charge. I didn’t really get it…

Great longtime Ybor establishment for a good slice pizza, cold beer, live music and hanging with friends. Usually only a cover if their are bands plying but you can alway grab a slice and at one of the sidewalk tables if that’s all you want.

We sent the new guy out for pizza that we pre-ordered. Assuming he wouldn’t get lost since it was easy to find and a good location. He did accomplish the mission. We ordered 3 pizzas of various toppngs and I’m telling you this chow was great. Keep in mind that the MRE’s and protein powders were getting a little old — but I was not the only one thinking this was a great choice. I wish they delivered… we lose more New Guys sending them on missions. I’ll be back!

The best pizza I have ever had. Period. Truly. I lived at this place as a graduate student: good pizza, good beer, good bartenders — what more do you need? They have a good pool table and jukebox, too, and they are still part of the old Ybor. I was recently back in Tampa on a Sunday, and I was bummed that they were closed. :-(I’ll be back.
