Dagwood’s is one of my favorite bars. Good prices on food & drinks. I like smoking at my table. I’ve been coming here for years & always have a great time. It’s really a dive bar, but the food is pretty good. They have lots of TVs for watching sports. Sometimes Lori & I play pool.

Awsome you can smoke inside but don’t go for food, its over priced and small menu. Large drink selection, have been there many times. Pool tables (1 $+ a game though) and dozens of Tvs and trivia on some days

It’s very smoky, Like walking into a dirty ashtray. Service is slow, Drinks are expensive. Don’t think I’ll be back accept maybe to get some wings to go.

Wings are good, service however, not so much. We kept asking our waitress for things multiple times, she kept forgetting. Food is decent

The damn bartenders They can’t handle the end of the night !!! Waited 15 min and not an acknowledgment. Thank god for Teresa!!! ¹⁄₂₂ @2am

I’ve been planning to visit this place with a friend and had decided to go Friday night. I was kinda disappointed as soon as we walked in. There was no one who help us find a table so we ended up helping ourselves.
My friend ordered a burger and I only ordered a cocktail drink. The drink was not that good and all I can smell is the cigarette smoke.
The one that is good at this place is that they have karaōke night every friday. But definitely not going back at this place.

Kind of a dive bar, which I usually like… but this place always has around a 50 (out of 100) on there health inspections, which is very bad. They have 4 high priority violations on there last inspection including a stop sale. Several soiled violations, just avoid all together.

This place served half a roach in my food and kicked me out for recognizing it, they then, on a different occasion lost my debit card and insisted that I had never given it to them, when they figured out that they had it the whole time they physically grabbed my arms and through me out the front door and told me to never come back

Da goods Pub & Eatery has been in the same location, for a dry long time. It is located in a shopping Plazza on three corner of Waters Ave. & Sheldon Rd. Da goods is tucked back in the Northeast corner of this plazza.
I don’t quite know how they get around the Tampa law of establishments serving a certain percentage of food must be smoke free establishments. I am sure it is all above board and up to code.
As an ex smoker, I loved that I could go to Da goods and eat lunch or dinner, have a cocktail or 2 and be able to smoke at the same time. I guess, I thought I was doing some great multitasking.
Their food has always been above average pub grub. They have a killer steak hoagie, sammies, salads, meals & specials.
Let me tell you they have a full bar and, have good specials and pour a good drink. This is a neighborhood institution & some of the same people have been regulars for decades. This makes for some fun times and great people to converse with.
The atmosphere is dark, a bit divy, yet still animated and playful. After a long day & needing to go grocery shopping, I decided to stop in for a cocktail. What a mistake! Nothing had changed except me, I quit smoking almost 3 years ago & just could not handle the smoke. It ended up being a very quick cocktail.
Don’t get me wrong, I think it is great there are places people can go & enjoy themselves while smoking. It ’ just that now that smoking isn’t a part of my life, I choose to try and avoid these establishments and not put myself in a position, where it would be too easy to light up again. This is just personal to me & my humble opinion.
I gave up a bad vice and with that I had to give up some good friends, like Dagwoods… I will miss you.
What’s a girl to do? If ya quit smoking, at all costs avoid temptation.

This place is like «Cheeres» Everyone knows your name. Great spotrs bar! The smoke does get heavy in there, but they do have filters they turn on. Lots of TV’s to see sporting events. They run great drink specials. The food is AWESOME! One of the best burger in the area! They also have lunch specials. On Tuesday and Thursday nights, they have wing nights! Dagwoods also has a trivia night, A few nights a week they have Karaōke. The bartenders are very up on the old and new drinks, and they are awesome on the shots! If you’ve never been there, you need to go. Between Pool tables and dart boards and other games, you will have fun!

Emmm, its alright service, could be a lil more, but for a bar and grill, it does itsefl justice.

Let’s not pull any punches here. Dagwoods is a bar. And it’s a damn good bar. The food is suprisingly good, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and it’s very clean. Yes, there’s smoke and it can a little loud. Again, it’s a bar. I guess calling it a «Sports Bar» make it sound a bit better. There’s a bunch of TVs, pool tables, and dart boards. Is it anything to go out of your way for? Probably not. Maybe on all you can eat wing night (Tuesday and Thursdays, FYI). But, if you live in the area and you’re looking for a nice place to have some suds on a Friday after work (or any day for that matter) you couldn’t do much better.

Best people watching in Tampa. As long as you don’t mind smelling like smoke for days, or watching some potential drug deals, you will absolutely love this place.
Beer is cheap ($ 6 pitchers), TVs are plentiful, and Karaōke on Fridays & Saturdays is awesome! You never have to wait more than 10 minutes for your turn.
Order a cupcake shot– it tastes like funfetti cake. I have yet to be able to find any other bar in the area (including my own kitchen) who can make a shot this good.

You smell terrible. It takes me a couple of washes to remove your stench from my long beautiful mane. My clothes end up smoky, and smelling like rotten beer soaked wood planks. The felt on your pool tables is horribly worn and fallen victim to one too many beer spills. Some lady tried to fight me in your bathroom. Your clientele resembles a lineup. Karaōke night here makes me want to stab my cochlea with a fountain pen. Out of five televisions only one plays the Bucs game. The beer is cheap, and the lines are dirty. My car smells like the water treatment plant across the street, which is seriously straight up shit. I will always and forever be your loyal patron. I belong here!

OK, so Dagwoods isn’t going to go down as the classiest of bars in the history of bars, but what I can tell you is that you’re bound to have a good time there. A little dark, very smokey and full of good people. Plus, I have a strong fondness for places that will serve food and allow smoking cigars!
The bar features a lot of televisions, a couple of dart boards, a few pinball machines and 4 pool tables. They also have a full menu along with daily specials, like $ 1 tacos on Wednesdays! Some of the most amazing wings I’ve had are here, and they’re not on the menu, so listen up. Upon request, one can get garlic parm wings, and they are damn delicious. McDivot’s has always been near and dear to me with their wings, but I’ve got to admit that the garlic parm joints at Dagwoods are probably my favorite right now.
Note: You will have to wash your clothes twice after leaving Dag’s! The smell in there is the gift that keeps on giving!

I lived in Tampa for a number of years, and one of the things i always appreciated about the city is the number of local pubs. These are not bars, restaurants, or clubs, they are pubs!

I went with my Brother, who is a regular here. Regulars are a requirement for pubs.
A pub is the kind of place where you can expect a lot of locals, cheap beer, decent food and a good time. You don’t call ahead for reservations, you walk in and saddle up to the bar. You don’t ask for a wine list, you ask what they have on draft. Your bartender will usually either be the owner who will joke with you, or a female bartender who will flirt with you. Dagwood’s had two of the latter, which I always appreciate, with the owner sitting a t the bar mixing it up with the patrons.
Dagwood’s has a lot of big screens for sports, pool tables (another requirement of a real pub) and has a lot of seating. The food is cheap, beer prices are great. Service was super!
We had a few beers, a few laughs, and I was introduced around in the traditional local pub orientation «This is my brother… etc» This is a how a new member is admitted into the pack.

You know a classy experience awaits when you pull up to a bar in a Winn Dixie plaza.
Do you love dive bars full of colorful characters who love to sing some karaōke? Then I highly recommend stopping at Dagwoods on a Friday or Saturday night. Get there early, the karaōke list fills up quickly.
This is a great place to come after getting loosened up at World of Beer Westchase right around the corner.
Warning: it takes about 2 days to get the smoke smell out of your hair.

Currently here. 650 bud select pitchers but no all u can eat wings even though its Thursday. Got a picher and potato skins… will finish this post once I eat them. So the skins were bar skins… nothing special. We only came here for all you can eat wings… dissapointed.

Wow… first off… i was over fed at Dagwoods… the portions were more than enough, to the point i had to stop eating half way thru the meal… first off they hook up a mound of fries on a large plate… then the chicken wings look like the were pumped up with air… along with 12 TV screens with every sports channel… it is easy to lose one and a half to two hours easy… and then to top it off… Top-​shelf liquor… great food… decent service…
