Cool hang out with some interesting individuals waiting tables. Great fresh food and funky combinations. We love it!

Soooo love this place!!! The food is super fresh… Expertly prepared… DELICIOUS!!! I do my best to stay gluten-free and dairy-free. Not an easy task when eating out… Unless you’re eating here! They even have it marked on the menu! This place is super clean… Wait staff is AMAZING! Looks like a great beer and wine selection too!

I have never been disappointed when ordering from Ciccio Cali. I have so many favorites: The Gigante Bowl, Bang Bang Chicken bowl, and of course their pizza. To top dinner off I always have to order a cupcake.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area! Love the brunch menu! The Tex mex bowl is amazing! We always take family when they come visit! :)

The food is not so great! Just average. I guess Tampa Palms cant come up with a delicous healthy restaurant. Everything tastes the same. The servers are rude and inexperienced. The lines are always long and not worth the wait.

Big fan of this place! Probably the healthiest food you’ll find in north Tampa. I prefer the bowls, the fitness bowl and Brazilian bowl being my favs. Cookies are also the bomb!

This Place is Just Fun! Ciccio Cali is fresh, open and full of light. As you enter you are facing a to go order bar. Beyond is a two story dining area with a loft and fresh green accents. There is a full bar with seating soda jerk style and a terrific outdoor patio area for dining as well. Always one to choose dining al fresco, we were escorted to a open seating area on the terrace surrounded by leafy plantings and tiki torches to create an outside experience. I did notice two TVs set in opposite corners of the patio if you wanted to watch a game. To set expectations: Much more fun, better location, service, noise volume level and food than Ciccio Waters so you will really enjoy your meal! Pacific grill themed Menu items include wraps, flatbreads, bowls and many healthy or California style choices. It does a busy lunch and dinner service and was fairly packed. No reservations available but give your name to the hostess and you will have a table shortly. TIP: Tuesday evenings have a $ 2 offering on sangria(white or red) and draft beers and soft taco size versions of their bowl options. Excellent! We tried the Thai, Napa Valley, Gigante and Hot & Cruncy Tuna. The Napa Valley was the favorite! The Millennial provides a vegan option. Next time the Spicy Brazilian will get a shot too. The Sangria is small and served in a champagne flute but flavorful if a bit sweet. Located at the West corner of a plaza in Tampa Palms with a parking lot — busy plaza so parking can be tight at times. This location is a winner!

AI can’t believe I have checked in 14 times before writing a review! Well, I guess you know by now that I am in love with this place. I already tried most of their menu, and I like them all. My favorite by far is their steak wrap. I also like their tuna bowl. I don’t care much about their pizza though. But again this place is not for pizza. The ingredients are fresh and mostly healthy. The atmosphere is very hip. Overall I highly recommend it.

This place is so versatile – dine in, out, upstairs, at the bar? Oh you want carry out? Catering? I’ve done it all! I’ll get the negative out of the way – the catering overall experience was something I probably won’t ever do again unless I physically talk to someone in person. They have a texting system(it’s one person and their cell phone #). Well everything was set up and ready to go, then on the day of my event we go to pick up the food and the place has no idea what we’re talking about. Then to top things off, we couldn’t get in touch with this catering person. It was my 2nd experience having an event catered – the first one was my bridal shower and the lady delivered the food – fantastic experience, same texting service. So this time, the catering person was sick and failed to pass along the message about our huge order. So, we sat and waited for them to make all the food(bummer for all their patrons), and left with it without paying a dime. Their offer! Plus they gave us $ 20 to come back to visit for a meal. Sure enough, we went back and have continued going. All dining experiences have been great. We just love $ 2 taco night and all the bowls – our fav is probably the Ahi Tuna Crunch bowl. One visit my husband & I both ordered the same bowl, and mine had about 5 pieces of tuna and his had about 15. I’m not a complainer at a restaurant, but I had to say something being his bowl is staring me in the face. They whipped me up some fresh tuna in just a few minutes and I was a happy camper(they said they prob made the bowls at the same time and accidentally gave him more of the meat, I get it). They have TVs to catch the game(highly important for us Bolts fans!). We’ll be back, and hopefully for brunch next time cause that’s probably in my top 3 brunches of all time. Cheers!

The food here is very good and fresh. They have may different options and combinations. My favorite is the Thai bowl. Also as many people have mentioned they have $ 2 tacos on Tuesdays and sangria’s. However be warned the $ 2 sangria’s are in much smaller glasses so I’m not sure you’re actually benefiting one way or the other. My only complaint is the fact that they don’t/won’t toss your food with sauce if you order it. The bowls come with some light sauce sprinkled on it, while a few bowls are tossed in sauce, I don’t see why you can’t have the option of having any bowl mixed with the sauce. And the second issue(which is probably the answer to my first issue) is that they charge $ 0.50 per extra sauce that you order! I never understand why some restaurants do this. It’s like buying a pair of shoes and they charge you extra for the laces… I rather my food be $ 1 extra then have to repeatedly ask for extra sauce that comes 2oz at a time, at 50cents a squirt! Btw their cookies and cupcakes are awesome…

My daughter and I went on Saturday, April 2 for lunch. It had just finished raining and the inside of the restaurant was FREEZINGCOLD! So had sat outside under the awnings. We were the only ones outside, but there was a guy playing a guitar and singing in the back corner. He was awesome! The live music was at the right volume and he was playing the right vibe of tunes for both of us. Our server was VICTORIA and she kicked butt! I had just driven 4 hours to see my college daughter and we were both starving. Victoria explained the menu and the popular«Breakfast Bowls» since it was still Brunch. We really couldn’t decide what to order and honestly we both just wanted to talk and catch up. So when Victoria returned with our mimosa’s we asked her flat out«What do YOU like?». She pointed to three of her favorite breakfast bowls. Perfect! We took her advice and ordered an Eggs Bennie Bowl and Pigs in Blanket Bowl. They were delicious! I’m still dreaming of the Eggs Bennie bowl now that i’m home and 300 miles away! My daughter loved her Pigs in Blanket, but it did have a bit too much syrup by the time you got towards the bottom of the bowl. Victoria was upbeat, cheerful and just full of menu suggestions. She’s def a keeper! We’ll be back for sure!

Yeap 4 stars! ATTNMANAGER? PLEASEDOSOMETHINGABOUTTHEPARKINGPROBLEM. I haven’t been to a Ciccio’s ever, not even the one located in South Tampa. To my amazement, I liked it and it’s very similar to Fresh Kitchen. I did like FK more lol. Parking situation is a joke, so hard finding a spot. There were no parking available in the entire plaza which was annoying. I had to circle around for 10 minutes before I found a spot. Apparently Tuesdays are the days to go to Ciccio’s. $ 2 tacos and sangria, Such a great deal! They take 8 of their most favorite bowls and make tacos with them. My favorite was the crunchy tuna. Seared tuna with sliced avocados, lettuce, tangy sauce and crunchy somethings. Soo good! Gigante was my least favorite taco. Buffalo coated chicken nuggets were too dry. Won’t be getting that anymore. I’ll be back for more $ 2 taco Tuesdays and tuna bowl. I’ll try the soho location, I don’t have patience to look for a parking spot at this location.

Are there servers in this restaurant? We had to walk to the bar for drink refills. Good thing I know how to use chopsticks cause that’s all they brought me to eat with… And of course, no servers so I couldn’t ask to be brought a fork if I wanted one. I decided to try the hot and crunchy tuna bowl— again —to see if it had gotten any better since my last experience having it… hard, stale, crunchy rice– sloppy un-seared tuna and even less of a meal than the last time I had it. Every time I come here it gets smaller and smaller. Super disappointed at this restaurant. When I first tried Ciccio’s Cali in 2014– it was awesome! I don’t know what has happened the last 4x I’ve visited, but as this was a «give them one last chance», we will not be back again.

Had brunch here last Sunday and I’m pleasantly surprised by this place! it was my first time here and my friend arrived earlier and got a table outside on the patio. It was a lovely afternoon, sunny and shady, not too hot or cold. The only thing was that my allergies were acting up so bad so you might want to stick to the inside if you can’t stand pollen! Anyways, I ordered the Hot & Crunchy Tuna Bowl which is one of their most popular dishes I think ~ Seared rare ahi tuna, scallions, jicama, avocado and cucumber topped with tempura battered onions, sesame seeds and sriracha aioli(aka spicy mayo). You get a choice of bases: yellow, brown or sticky rice, kale blend, Asian noodles or spaghetti squash. I choose the more traditional sticky rice which went perfectly under the tuna blend. They gave us chopsticks to eat the bowl. Everything melded together nicely, not one ingredient stood out too much except maybe the sriracha aioli. This dish reminds me of the sashimi dons I get at sushi restaurant. I wish the tuna was raw actually but it was still good. You could tell they used quality, fresh ingredients. My friend ordered the same dish but subbed citrus aioli on her’s which I loved since it let the ingredients shine through! Next time I’m going to ask to switch as the sriracha aioli was a little too over-powering. This bowl was $ 10 and was filling. I also got a half of Tony’s Chicken Marsala pizza($ 5). This was a good size portion for half! It was really simple, just chicken, mushrooms and a marsala wine sauce on a flat bread, but it was so delicious! I’m still thinking about this pizza. Going over service real quick: the server was nice but it did take a while for friend to get her bloody mary’s, and my water was forgotten. We had to remind him a couple times of our requests but we weren’t too fussy. It was a little busy on a Sunday. Overall, I had a enjoyable brunch here and will definitely be back! The food is simple and fresh.

We have been attending early service at St. James Methodist in Tampa Palms and were looking for a unique brunch spot. We found it in the strip mall just north of the church. There are several other restaurants I would like to try in there too! They have live music during brunch, a really nice kids’ menu and allow the kiddos to color when they get seated. Staff was attentive and on point. I got the Thai bowl with spaghetti squash. It’s a cold mixture with warm steak and chicken(or just one of the other). The dressing/sauce was DELISH and it was a great light, healthier option to a traditional waffle/eggs/bacon meal. They offered a mimosa menu and wine/beer. We skipped it but I would definitely indulge next time. Overall a good experience and one I would repeat. It was NOT too busy either which was lovely considering brunch locations are usually slammed at 11 a.m. on Sundays.

A– ok. I enjoyed the food and appreciated the variety of choices on the menu. As well as how much food came for the price. I had the spicy crunchy tuna bowl with rice and it left my belly content, not overly full, and I didn’t feel like eating the rest of the night. There are many different combinations to choose from. As much as I enjoyed the food and the outdoor seating and live music, my first time experience here was still just okay(three star) and will definitely impact my future decisions in coming here/recommending it to friends. It was mainly in part due to the way my party was treated by our waitress, Stephanie. Compared to the rest of the friendly staff, she had a blunt and unwelcoming attitude toward our group and we felt like a nuisance for dining tonight(we weren’t being roust or obnoxious either so I don’t understand what the issue was). We were there to celebrate two special birthdays and it kind of killed the mood to have someone so uninterested serve us. Nonetheless, Ciccio Cali has healthy alternatives to choose from and for a fair price which can be hard to find. I won’t go and say it’s a bad restaurant because one poor experience, but it’s always the first impression that I’ll have. Also one of the fire burners ran out of propane so a draft picked up and we were shivering in the dark and could not see as well. For a Friday night, that sounds odd to be overlooked so just mentioning it in case so it can be fixed for future customers.

Let’s start by saying that I LOVE Ciccio Cali. I’ve been to the St. Pete location multiple times and can’t get over how fantastic it is. My visit this time at the Tampa location was incredibly disappointed. We waited over 20 minutes for our food with no explanation and a casual apology from our server. No discount for the long wait or anything. This is so uncharacteristic from what I know about Ciccio Cali’s… Either way, one of my favorite things is their option for spaghetti squash. It’s amazing. Definitely give it a try… I just hope you don’t have the same server we did at this restaurant… or that you make it over to the one if St. Pete… because they have the service part DOWN! :)

This is such a nice place with a fresh atmosphere, caring service and delicious food. Whether you are sharing a quick lunch inside or a leisurely brunch on the tropical patio, you will be treated at the speed you prefer and will enjoy a varied list of fresh and tasteful food. We kicked off with an order of chips and salsa, and both were fresh and tasty. One of the lunch staples here are the rice bowls. Choose between yellow rice, brown rice or sticky rice, or quinoa, spaghetti squash or Asian noodles, then select from a long list of options to complete the bowl. My wife selected the Mexican, with chopped chicken, black beans, tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, cheddar cheese and lettuce. I had the Fajita, which was a large portion of grilled chicken, onions & peppers loaded with the standard fajita fixings that topped my rice bowl base. Both were top notch, and you can tell the food is fresh and prepared with care. Our Server, Rachel, was personable, bright and cheery and did a wonderful job keeping our table stocked and making sure we were happy. We also were visited by Damon the Manager, and he showed his interest in our experience, any suggestions to make things better, and offered his number if we had any future suggestions or would like to have an event catered or to have a special group event at the restaurant. Thanks to all the above and especially the treatment, we’ll be back for sure!

Loved all the options! I decided to get the half moon fish taco over kale. SOGOOD. I hate a bite of my friend’s salad as well(hot and crunchy tuna) which was decent as well, but the tuna wasn’t the best quality. Portions were good for the price. Sangria tasted watered down. Service was lacking, but this restaurant is pretty casual so I wasn’t bothered by it.

Service and atmosphere for Ciccio was great. The staff were warm and conversational while not being over bearing or absent. As for the food, everyone at my table loved their meals. I had the Buffalo Chicken and between my other three friends there were 2 Crunchy Tuna and a Half Moon. There was a great combination of rice and toppings and very healthy portions of your protein. It would be very hard to end up with just spoonfuls of rice when you’re done! The only negative thing I have to say about my meal is that for a non vegetarian friendly individual(taste/texture just aren’t my thing, which I understand is more of a personal issue) there just weren’t a lot of dishes that sounded like they could standalone and I wouldn’t feel bad saying I wouldn’t want x, y, and z. Which led me to the buffalo chicken bowl. However it was so packed with buffalo flavor, down to the rice being soaked in the sauce/taste as well, that it was way too rich and almost overpowering. I could only eat a little before having to put my fork down and box the rest up to go. I should have asked if it was possible in future bowls to forego the sauce being added to the rice to help balance things out a bit, but I forgot. Nevertheless, it’s a great place to go! Especially if you’re someone who likes vegetables more than me(which is practically everyone). :P
