Cherry’s Bar & Grill

Cherrys has been a blessing for us. My husband and I have been visiting Tampa as his father has been passing away. Cherrys has been the place we know we can go to get great food quickly, with some beer, and be in a relaxing environment. The servers engage with us when we want to talk and give us some space when we need it. th3y have taken great care of us over the last few months. I would suggest this little joint to everyone who wants to relax and have a beer!

Received our food really fast! Gotta try the burgers, the Buffalo or the Texas are both excellent choices. Nice draft beer selection also.

Came in for lunch had the chicken salad sandwich and a few drinks execellent food the bartender was polite and incredibly nice will definitely b back if I the area convenient from the hotels across the street

Was staying across the street and in town for the Frozen Four College Ice Hockey championship. Asked front desk clerk at our hotel where we can get a good burger and he sent us to Cherry’s. Great small sports bar with many TV’s and will put on whatever you want. The burger I had was one of the top 3 I have ever eaten and I travel all over the country. Cooked perfectly. Was impressed that I went back the next day to catch some NHL games on their TV’s and was directed to their Corned Beef Reuben by my waitress. She said they smoke the beef and it is great. Again it was one of the best Reuben’s I have ever had. They shred the beef and it was set up perfectly. Call me crazy but what makes me determine a good sports bar/​pub type of food is how it comes out. The sandwiches were hot and the fries were just as hot as was with all the meals that my party had. Doesn’t it stink when you have a good sandwich and the fries are luke warm or cold? Not here. Its the little things. Must check it out. A bonus was that I had my burger on a Thursday when they are only $ 6 for a ½ pound burger. The dining room runner was a great guy who couldn’t do enough fro us. Great staff, servers and food!!!

This place is a bar first, and a restaurant 2^nd. I was there for the food, and not the drinks, so my experience was not good.
Didn’t like the burger at all. Very low quality ingredients, and most likely a frozen patty. Pulled pork nachos, and the wings were good, but that’s the only thing I liked about this place.
As soon as I walked in, I noticed a bad smell, and almost walked right back out. I thought I would get used to it, but I didn’t. He was just a dirty moldy mildew smell.
The place is dirty and divey, but has a lot of TVs. It’s probably a good place to drink.
The service was good! There is a lot of seating, but this place gets packed during lunch. I don’t know why, the food is not that great. Overall, I give it 2.5 Stars, but have to round down due to the sickening smell.

Taking care of a customer involves more than taking their food order giving them their drink and ignoring them from then on.
Customers should not have to ask for their check from another employee because your server is nowhere to be found.

How does it get any better than a 6 dollar burger deal. Love Thursdays and Cherry’s. Great staff and food.

Walked across the street from my hotel to Cherry’s. Had the southwest chicken wrap and asked to blacken the chicken. The meal came out and the wrap looked like one of those «big as your head» burritos! Forget the look! The taste was amazing! Will absolutely come here again when in town! Oh yes… not sure if it was happy hour or not, but the wine was only $ 3 a glass!

Ate a light breakfast and fasted until dinner. Stopped in at Cherry’s. I had the cheeseburger and fries. Really just like you would make at home. Slightly pink inside but well done otherwise. Great toppings and fries. My wife had the pot roast. She rated it as excellent. If you want to have a great meal and skip the conventional big chain restaurants, I highly recommend Cherry’s. BTW, my favorite seasonal beer was on tap.

One of the best places in the Tampa/​Brandon area to eat and drink. Cold beer good food nice atmosphere, still!

Solid wings, good local beer selection. Not a bad deal, at all! Be sure to try the homey BBQ wings, meaty and flavorful.

My husband and I’s go-​to weekday bar! The place is clean, neat and spacious, not too crowded, which is good. Food is very affordable and comes in big proportions, we always split our food and still go home full. Beer is cheap as well! They serve draft pitchers which is just perfect for a mid week night cap. The service is exceptional! The servers are friendly and very accommodating. overall, Cherry’s grill is an awesome place, a bang for the buck.

My husband likes this bar & grill as his occasional lunch spot during the week if he’s the mood to eat out instead of having me prepare his lunch for him. I’ve met up with him here several times. The one thing you need to do is let the waitress know that you’re in a hurry if you’ve only an hour for lunch before returning to work otherwise they will overlook you. Their salads are really good and enormous. I am a fan of their Grilled Chicken Salad, Buffalo Wrap (no blue cheese & extra sauce), while my husband is also a fan of both and their wings. We haven’t really had the chance to try the other items on the menu as we felt that it may take longer. But the next time we come in on a non-​working day, we will try something else out. The waitresses are very nice and friendly. The only thing I am not particularly fond of is the red lights they use inside, I know they’re trying to go with the «cherry red» theme… but it gets a bit too much and it really alters your perception on a lot of things that I feel weird inside and then relieved as soon as I leave the restaurant. That’s something I wish they would look into changing. It’s not a very nice feeling to have inside unless you’re sitting next to the window with a lot of natural light.

We had the Ruben and fries excellent, and they had the latest Crown– Apple… I have been around visiting some of the Tampa’s area and Cherrys get’s a big thumbs up for the food, price, and it’s clean a even bigger deal to me… we will be back often…

Oddly, for a place that isn’t mentionable once you walk in the door, the food that comes from this kitchen is well above average. Portion sizes are also above average. Stop in and try it, it’s better than middle of the road and you won’t have to fight with Hooters parking issues. Lol.

Nice looking place on the inside. Part bar and restaurant. It wasn’t busy when I walked in and sat at the bar tonight. Waited 5 minutes for the waitress at the bar to take my drink order. She acted like I was invisible so I left.
Oh well… I guess Cherry wasn’t working tonight!

Definitely an awesome spot to enjoy a game, drinks, and good food. The staff was friendly an attentive.

My cheeseburger was delicious, I enjoyed the scenery. Heather was a doll, she introduced me to the White Russian. Very good customer service, very polite & relatable. You should definitely try it.

My husband and I have driven by Cherry’s many times and finally stopped by for a late dinner and we were very pleased. I was excited about the Iowa pork tenderloin on the menu and it’s the real deal! If you are from Iowa it’s a staple and if you are not, I would highly recommend. My husband had the Cajun wings which he thought were too salty. I think he would order the wings again but with a different sauce or naked. The environment is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! Oh, and the beer was nice and cold!
