An always pleasant atmosphere, always personable service and always flawless food will always get high praise from me. The staff members at this Bonefish Grill never fail to promptly greet us, seat us and serve us. That alone adds to the overall experience that enables the evening to get off to a great start as we quickly and comfortably settle in without having to anguish over how long it will take our server to get the ordering process under way. The hosts/hostesses are always accommodating about special requests(such as a preference for a booth rather than a table or sitting on the bar side rather than in the main restaurant) without making it seem like an imposition simply to ask about other seating options. The entire meal goes so seamlessly that it allows conversation to flow and guests to get relaxed but is timed well enough not to create any needless delays or long gaps that can drag on for too long. And it is still nice to be provided with what I now consider to be above-and-beyond service that includes having water served and refilled as needed and provided with crusty, warm bread accompanied by a tasty olive oil dipping sauce and even extends to assistance packing up any meals that could not be finished but would make ideal future meals from the leftovers. But what strikes me most is that every ingredient appears to be really fresh and every dish freshly prepared. From entrees to side dishes, it all looks and tastes like it was just made and made just right. I have never tucked into something that looks, tastes or smells like it has been hanging around the kitchen for far too long and has lost some of its luster. And that is a commitment to quality that I applaud.

By far great staff and amazing food. Pricey! But you will walk out of there stuffed and wanting more. Dessert was even great. Try the cheesecake :-)

Terrible service today! If I could go any lower than 1 star I would. Day after Gasparilla killed this staff service team. Waiters making drinks… WRONG. after waiting 20 minutes for it. My girlfriend and I come here a lot and it is usually a great experience. Today we had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Who lets their waiters make drinks while the bartender, dishwasher, and hostess run food? Everyone should have a set job to do and do it well. Oh and where is the manager? We watched 15 people walk out. Money lost! At the end the culinary manager comped our meal for obvious reasons so that was the only positive part of our experience.

After a long day of travelling – 3 airports, 2 planes, 2 bags of pretzels, 2 cups of ginger ale, 1 bagel, and a Schlotzsky’s turkey sandwich later – I arrived into Tampa around 6PM. To say I was hungry, was definitely an understatement. The pops wanted to take me to eat delicious seafood, so we headed for The Bonefish Grill. We were seated pretty immediately and were greeted by our friendly, informative, and attentive waiter, Luciano. Since my dad had been here many times before, I let him order: Bang Bang Shrimp Mussels Josephine Bang Bang Shrimp is fried goodness covered in a creamy mayo-y kind of sauce. It reminded me of Honey Walnut Shrimp with an added kick to it. I’m not the biggest fan of mayo with seafood, so I only had a few of these. The Mussels Josephine. Oh Man. THEMUSSELS. THEBREAD. THEBROTH. EVERYTHING. This was definitely my favorite. The broth is perfectly garlic-y, lemon-y, and wine-y and goes great with both the mussels and the toasted butter-y carb heaven loaf of bread. The saddest part was when we ran out of bread, but Luciano brought us another one! Instant frown turned upside down! For our entrée, we split the Chilean Seabass with Pan Asian Sauce with a side of Garlic Whipped Potatoes and Steamed Asparagus. The Chilean Seabass was okay, but I think it would have been better paired with the Lemon Butter sauce. The Pan Asian was a little too sweet for me, kind of like a teriyaki almost. The potatoes were nicely whipped and really tasty. I love asparagus, and these little green guys were cooked just right. Since you are paying more for this as a Deluxe Side, I was kind of bummed that there were only 5 – 6 stalks with the order. As this was my first time at The Bonefish Grill, I had a ton of questions and Luciano was suuuuper helpful throughout our meal. He seemed to really care about us having a great experience at the restaurant, definitely appreciated that!

The best bonefish I’ve been to! One of my favorite restaurants in NJ/NY but i recently stopped going because the taste of the food changed. Not here! This location has impeccable service and even better food. Our server, Joseph G., was amazing from the time we were seated until we left. The manager even stopped by our table just to make sure we were enjoying our delicious food. I knew weeks ago I’d be in the area so i made reservations then. When we arrived(640pm) there was a wait and i told the hostess we have a 7pm reservation. He said that’s no problem but they couldnt seat us until its closer to our reservation time. Fine. They gave a buzzer and it literally buzzed at 7pm on the dot — just as i was about to inquire about why we hadn’t been seated yet. I believe that even if there’s a wait at a restaurant, advanced reservations should be honored. Or else why make them? So that moment was saved by the buzzer :) The one thing that really impressed me — bonefish has FINALLY come to their senses about my favorite meal on the menu. The pecan parmesan crusted rainbow trout — it automatically comes with 2 sides now. Instead of a forced garnish and an extra $ 1.50 charge to change it or add a side. That NEVER made sense. I’m so glad its finally changed. My fish was excellent. The way it used to be at the Secaucus, NJ location(without bones). Next time I’m in Tampa, this will be my first stop for dinner!

The bang bang shrimp is exquisite. I asked waiter if customers liked the Chilean sea bass, and if it met with their expectations of being soft, buttery, and delicious– even though Bonefish wood grills it? Yes, no problems at all. The Chilean sea bass was chewy! Not flavorful! Had a whole bunch left that I wouldn’t eat. Waiter did ask generically«how was the meal? He could have followed up specifically with me about the bass. I would not return.

I’m a fan of the Endless Bubbles Brunch special that Bonefish runs. $ 19.99 for all you can drink Mimosas or Sangria(you can choose one and have to stick to it) and one entrée off their brunch menu. I call this a deal, especially if you have a DD! The location is undergoing a renovation while still open, and it looks like it will turn out nicely. The staff was very accommodating to our large party and the server was very attentive to our large parties needs throughout the meal. Make sure to start your meal with the Bang Bang Shrimp, a specialty that only Bonefish does right!

Bang Bang Shrimp are on point. Don’t like the new redesign of the interior. Service was excellent. Tricky parking situation, coming off of Henderson. For the most part seems like you could be at an Applebee’s or Friday’s or any chain place. The sweet potatoes were good, the burger was ok, ceasar salad could use some more flavor.

Bonefish has dishes to please everyone — from my 13 year old nephew to my 90 year old grandmother. My husband and I come for the occasional date night, I’ve had work events there, as well as large family parties. Always accommodating, always delicious! The ceviche, calamari and bang bang shrimp are always great options for starters. Generous portions and great taste. I always order off of their wood-grilled fish menu. For $ 15 – 25 you can order a fresh catch(tilapia, salmon, grouper, mahi, tuna etc), a fresh seasonal vegetable and a side of your choice. Pretty reasonably priced and always delicious. The service is typically exceptional(yep, I said exceptional). And the price point is great. 4 stars for this Bonefish(And pretty much every Bonefish I’ve been to!)

Came here after getting a massage from a friend, and we were a bit more than a half hour before they closed. We were worried because a lot of places don’t give you good service when you come in that late, but we got AMAZING service from Ashley. She was perfection. Our food was delicious from the bang bang shrimp to the scallops and shrimp that my friend had. My pork was also tender and tasty. This location is a bit hidden, but it’s certainly worth visiting.

Yeap 3 stars! Parking lot was completely full but they do offer complimentary valet parking which was awesome. Dining are was also full but only 15 minute wait to be seated. They do have long tables by the bar, they refer to it as community tables. It’s available for everyone but found it to be too loud. I opted for sitting in the main dining area. Did you know that the bread is only served when requested by the customer? I had no clue. Since I loved bread, I sat in my seat patiently but no bread came to my table. I asked my waiter and that’s when I found out their new bread policy. After going thru all that, the bread wasn’t anything that special. But stale. Disappointing! As far as my entrée, I end up ordering Lily’s chicken. Grilled chicken breasts with goat cheese, spinach, artichoke hearts with a lemon basil sauce. Wow! It was really good and only 550 calories, SCORE! Very similar to Carabba’s chicken Bryan entrée. The dish came with 2 sides, seasonal veggie which was sautéed zucchini and pepper AND whipped potatoes. Just the right portion, I ended up eating everything on my plate lol. Will I be back? I am not sure.

We came here last Friday night around 8:45 pm and they were pretty slow for a Friday night. The waitress served us our Ceviche appetizer and immediately walked away. We had to wait about 5 minutes for her to return to request utensils and napkins. I ordered the Bay Scallops over risotto on the specials menu as my entrée. I expected the food to be served in a reasonable time since they were slow but our entrees took over 30 minutes to come out. The scallops were very fresh and clean. But my risotto was definitely not cooked well; it was watery and cold. I didn’t return it to the kitchen because by that point I was starving and just wanted to eat and leave. This Bonefish is really small and has limited parking. I am also not a fan of extremely dimly lit restaurants. I will not be returning to this location.

Good evening Unilocalers. So it is dinner time and we decided to go go Bone Fish Grill. So, for those who know my Unilocaling I always Unilocal about customer service first. My waitress Sherrie was awesome! She came by every 15 minutes to make sure that all was well and it was genuine. We started with the bang bang shrimp. Fantastic! For our entre I had the salmon with mango sauce, garlic mashed potatoes with asparagus and a glass of blackberry sangria. my husband had the lamb chops with a split peas and potatoes. For dessert we had the key lime pie. HEAVEN! My total bill was only $ 87.61. Well worth it! !!

Slightly above my expectations. This was my first time at a bonefish grill and I was thinking it was in the same level as outback steakhouse, but it is definitely above that. The first think I noticed is that the menu isn’t as packed as other places I’ve been too. This could be a good or bad thing… good for me, too many option make my head spin. If you just want to wait for you food to come with the complimentary bread roll than that’s not a bad choice. The bread here is awesome. The main entrees were very yummy. I was looking at all the plates that pass by and they were organized so nicely and in such a way to make it appealing. I would say the meal is at par for the price. If your in the mood for desert than once again don’t be disappointed at the small menu. You can at least be sure that anything you get will prolly be pretty yummy. All in all great place for a nice night out.

I have always been a fan of Bonefish Grill. Everything they have is delicious from their apps to their meals and desserts. A favorite of mine is the bang bang shrimp which I had during my recent visit. I also indulged in the lobster tails. I also found that they have an amazing sangria which I had never tried before. If I hadn’t been driving, I would have had more. The bang bang shrimp is a large serving for at least 2 people to share and it has a kick to it but I love it. Also, the lobster tails were great with lots of meat. Then the mashed potatoes were also creamy and good. I sat in the bar area for happy hour and we were able to get $ 5 bang bang shrimp on Wednesdays and then get the sangria on happy hour special. The service was good and they checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we were happy with our meals. Definitely recommend the food and this location.

This Bonefish Grill, paaa St. Pete based chain, seems to be busy all the time! I think it’s because the food is quite good(for a chain) and the service too. It’s a casual and comfortable atmosphere. There’s a separate bar area and a dinning section with tables and booths. I was happy with the ceviche, mango cobb chicken salad, scallop entrée and lobster suffed mahi entrees we got. They have a bang bang deal Wednesday for gringos who love saucy fried shimpies. This is a good option. There’s also a Square 1 Burger next door that I want to try. Fresh Market is across the street.

First and foremost our service was TOPNOTCH!!! Our waiter, Dusty, was quick to offer some delicious suggestions. More importantly, my water glass(I tend to drink A LOT of water) was never empty for more than a few minutes! I would give 5 stars based on his service alone! For an appeitizer, we had the pot stickers. It was pretty average for pot stickers. I did enjoy the crunchy toppings though! I had the shrimp and scallops with a lemon butter sauce. My food was good, but not outstanding. Also, the«seasonal vegetable» is couscous… I am not sure if the chefs are aware, but that’s not a veggie…\ The potatoes au gratin are always a favorite of mine and were, as usual, delish! I also got the Ultimate Martini. Apparently the infuse the gin with olive juice for a few days. Well, whatever they do, it works. Great martini! My date had the seasonal cosmopolitan and was quite happy too!

I haven’t been to this restaurant in a few years. Came here on a Friday night 2÷20÷15. The atmosphere was relaxed/romantic/casual with dim lighting(this was during the evening) The food was very delicious. I got the shrimp and sea scallops with herbed couscous. I upgraded the side to the crab fried rice. All amazing in flavor. However, the Moscow Mule that I order did not come with the candy ginger as advertised :( The waitstaff was timely and pleasant.

I came here with friends for happy hour the other day. In terms of beverages, they have some excellent deals. I was also impressed by the wide range of small bites. I wasn’t too familiar with the menu, but my friends were well-versed. We tried the Bang Bang Shrimp, On the Stacks, Oyster Shooters, Oysters on the Shell, and On the Bun(Pork). All of the food was generally good. The Bang Bang Shrimp was well-cooked though a bit too mayonnaise-covered for me. It did have a nice spice though. I think it would have been better with more scallions. The On the Bun had a fun presentation with layers of bamboo steamers. The steamed buns were fresh, and the BBQ pork was tender and flavorful. Some of the pieces were a bit huge for sharing, but I imagine it’s not meant to be easily shared by three people. The oysters were super fresh in the Oyster Shooters and on the half shell. I didn’t like the Oyster Shooters as much, because I found the accompanying sauce to be a bit overly sweet. For the On the Stacks, the tuna and salsa on the fried crisp were very fresh, but I would have been okay without the crisp. I’m not super into fried foods though. For dessert, the donuts are not to be missed. They come with some fun squeezy bottles of chocolate and caramel to pump into your donuts. The donuts were super fresh, warm, and fluffy. I found the cinnamon sugar that was covering them to be a bit much, but I’m more used to a light dusting of powdered sugar on a beignet. When considering the restaurant as a whole, the décor and seating by the bar were fun and good for a small group. The service was excellent; Anna and Jesse were super attentive and friendly. We also got to meet the manager, Skye, who provided lots of helpful information. Overall, it seems like a great place to have happy hour, and I look forward to coming back in the future.
