I have very thick curly hair so finding a place that is able to blow it out quickly is a treasure. I get my hair blown out maybe twice a month and I am never disappointed, no matter who the stylist is. I love the fact that I can change up the style from curls to pin straight with no extra charge each time I go. Great place & super sweet staff!

I have been to several blow bars in the past and this place is by far my favorite. Based on my experience, the staff are professional and courteous and they generally run on time. I have thick long hair and the girls always know exactly how to style it. They never make me feel rushed even when they have to spend additional time. I have been to another local blo bar where they don’t use curling irons which I found strange since some desired styles require the use of of an iron. I literally live 2 blocks away from a different blow bar, but make the drive to West Boy Scout because they really are the superior blow bar.

Best blow out I have ever had!!! I had my hair done here for my engagement party and never had my hair look better!

In Tampa for a few days, tagging along the BF’s work trip. What is a girl to do when it is rainy all day? Well she shops at the International Mall, then jumps across the street to Body By Blo for a cozy, clean mani/​pedi in a modern salon! I loved the atmosphere from the furniture to the music, and my technician Becca was great! She was attentive, asked the right questions and made sure I was happy and comfortable during the service. The rest of the staff is very pleasant and welcoming, but don’t take my word for it, go see for yourself! Oh, they carry the cutest collections of the Morgan Taylor polish line, so you don’t have to weed through the tired, same old OPI colors that have been sitting there forever.
Last thing — the wine bar next door was the perfect hangout afterwards while my nails were drying :)

Ok let me start by telling you all the wonderful places about the salon before I get to my ugh blow dry. It is conveniently located, the staff is probably the sweetest girls I’ve ever met in my life, and the atmosphere is very clean. The concept is great.
My appointment was at 12:30 I arrived at 12:25 and they were ready and waiting for me.
I arrived with my hair already washed, and the blowdry took 4 – 6 minutes, it had a really weird flip out on the end, which I immediately told her wasn’t my style at all… I looked like I stepped out of the 1950s, and despite me telling her I wear my bangs across my forehead she kept blowing them back and tucking them behind my ears. Multiple times I told her it really wasn’t my style and she tried to fix it but was unable to because of the way she blow dried it. I was do sad bc I really wanted to love it and had a huge event to attend. Not to mention that she used no styling product in my hair or a flat iron. My Hair is very curly and by the time I got home it had half curled back up and I had to redo it again myself. I wanted to love this place so badly, But I was very disappointed that I spent $ 40 on my short hair that took five minutes, had a really weird flip out at the bottom and didn’t even last a few hours straight. :(
Probably a good place suited best for somebody with super super long thick hair that spends forever blowing out their hair.

What a great experience and I love my blow out! The staff is extremely accommodating and nice. This is a must if you’re looking for a fabulous blowout in Tampa.

Update: 2÷15÷14 Cynthia, the owner, directly contacted me and refunded the cost of my service AND offered me a complimentary blow out if I would like. That is definitely stellar customer service. Cynthia continues to be a class act! So even if I wasn’t happy with my result, she definitely took the sting out of the disappointment!

Really love this place. You can schedule an appointment through their app which could not be easier. Show up, you are seen immediately, offered a drink and given a quick but awesome blow out of your choice. I’ve had three different stylists so far and all do a great job. Facility is new and beautiful! I will continue to be a repeat customer!

I made appointments for a large group, 9 people, in advance of a wedding (we weren’t the actual wedding party) and were accommodated with no problem, they even made sure we had the place to ourselves for two hours. When we arrived, we were two people short and had a slight change in plans but Cynthia, the owner, and her team were extremely accommodating and pleasant. They even prepared and served some beverages and provided sweets for our group! Cynthia photographed our group and sent me the pictures within hours. Very professional and friendly. The salon is clean, new, and stylish. I would definitely recommend this blow dry bar.

i want to like this place, but I was very disappointed. I don’t know the name of my stylist, but I really didn’t like the styling she did. I have a little longer than shoulder length hair and she did a strange flip at the bottom all around circa a 1950s sock hop. To be fair i’m not always good about vocalizing my discontent, but i don’t know who would like that style. i thought the staff was very nice, but there was no music or anything to read while you are getting blown out, so it’s super boring. I also don’t think the $ 40 price (plus tip) is all that great for someone with shorter hair. I am also not sure why my stylist didn’t use a flat iron to finish my style — i have super curly hair that is prone to frizz Long story short — i had to come home and fix my hair before going back out. :(

Went to have my hair done for my husband’s office party. Amy was my stylist and she did an amazing job! She gave suggestions on what type of style would look best for the occasion based on my everyday style and can I just say Wow! Definitely going back!

First of all, let’s talk about the fact that this place has an app! You can schedule appointments on the go and they do as early as 7 am and as late as 9 pm!
Another great thing: AMAZING LOCATION! Literally right next to Cooper’s Hawk! So if you have a date or meeting the girls out for drinks you can do your hair and walk next door!
Next let’s talk about pricing. The blow out which includes flat iron is $ 40 regardless of length. This is great for me because I have long curly hair and most places charge extra 10 $ for flat iron or length.
When you walk in the staff is super friendly. They asked me if I wanted a drink right away. I opted for a water but I would assume they have other selections.
The ambiance is nice. The décor is very modern. I was told they also do waxing and nails in the back but I didn’t check it out.
My hairdresser was Evelyn. She did an amazing job and I will definitely be back here again.
By the way, can’t forget the music they have it on Usher pandora station and you hear all the great old school hits.
Overall great place. Once more people know about it I am sure it will get busy.
