I’m a huge fan of frozen yogurt, and I noticed this place the other day and the name really caught my attention and immediately I had a craving for some. It’s a cute place and the lone worker was friendly, but honestly I wasn’t impressed. Very little flavors and topping choices, it didn’t give me the overwhelming excitement that Yogurt Mountain gives with its endless options. I had wild berry(decent) with blackberries and raspberries which were fresh. Overall the flavor was good but I’d choose Yogurt Mountain or Pinkberry over berryism any day.

Berryism has a second location! Way too conveniently located in the Palms of Carrollwood Shopping Center, now I can get my tan, coffee, organic foods, workout, AND froyo on, all in the same spot — a rarity in Tampa, it seems like. It’s the same old good stuff. They always have original tart, wildberry, vanilla and chocolate on tap, with a couple of special flavors in the mix that switch up every few days or so, such as angel food cake, pumpkin and green tea. They also have gelato! I’ve been loving their triple chocolate, cookies n cream, and their chocolate coconut almond crunch is divine(the latter flavor isn’t served at the other Berryism). Some perks at time of writing: 20% off all smoothies from 11AM to 3PM daily, and a happy hour of free toppings from 4 – 7PM Mondays through Fridays. I also got a $ 5 for $ 10 voucher on that made Berryism taste all the more sweet. Palms of Carrollwood used to be my health mecca after yoga and workouts since I would stop by Abby’s for organic juices and salads afterward, but shooooooot, now there’s a Berryism there! But the juices and salads balance out the froyo, right? Right? NOM
