Amethia Nail & Spa

I tried the place anyways when I was in the area though it has some negative thoughts. Turned out that the place is actually worth trying. Clean and organized. Reasonable price. People are very nice and professional. The lady was very attentive and careful with my nails. She took extra time to make sure everything looked great. They use good quality products and beautiful colors so the results look stunning and I could feel the difference comparing to many other places I have been too. I think my nails would last for a long time. Pretty much nothing to complain about. Highly recommended !!!

Mediocre at best. They didn’t even have the ac on on a warm day. They weren’t super nice either. The nail Polish was applied poorly and didn’t last long at all.

Ping and Quan do awesome jobs. Always come here for my gel manicures and pedicures. One lady there is not the friendliest but I try to just stick with the two I mentioned. They will also fix any chips for no charge.

They did a fantastic job on my pedicure. 3 weeks later and they still look like I just got them done! They tried to make conversation for the duration of the time so at least it wasn’t awkward and they had a large TV to watch things on so I would come back again.
What I wasn’t entirely fond of how the girl who did my pedicure kept pushing me to do a manicure and kept asking me «why?» when I mentioned that I didn’t want to do one that day. As an Asian-​American with Asian family, I wasn’t particularly upset or surprised but I can see how others might be more irked.
Otherwise, great price and great service!

My absolute favorite nail spot! I stumbled upon this place when I was a student at USF. Once I found Amethia I was hooked! They do an AMAZING $ 35 spa pedicure complete with filing and trimming nails, scrubbing and removing dry skin, a leg scrub and massage with HOT STONES, parrafin dip to soften your feet, and polish all while relaxing in a luxurious big comfy spa chair. They usually have soft instrumental pop songs playing and I love playing my own version of ‘name that tune’. One of my favorite aspects of Amethia is they sell personal nail kits so you can purchase a little box with your own nail clippers, cuticle trimmers, file, and scrub so you don’t have to worry about cleanliness of utensils. Back when I got it a few years ago it was $ 6 and they even store the box there so no worries about forgetting it at home. They also installed a big flat screen TV and usually have magazines all over to keep you entertained. I also love that they staff remembered me after I moved away for a few years and then came back! They’re also great at ‘reading’ you and engaging in conversation and finding out about your life, or if you just sit back and close your eyes they’ll let you doze off while they perform magic on your feet. I turned my mom onto Amethia during her last visit and we are about to return today and she’ll be checking out the wax and manicure services but I highly, highly recommend for pedicures for SURE! Oh, and it is helpful to make an appointment and not just walk in :)

I have been going here for years & love it. I get a shellac manicure & the spa pedicure & both are great. The manicure lasts for at least 2 weeks before it starts chipping or peeling. I definitely recommend this nail salon.

Ping is amazing! She has done my nails for years! You will not be disappointed if you go here. Prices are great! Plus there is a delicious Thai restaurant right next door!
