What an incredible place! My infant grandson had a pretty bad ear infection and I waited all day for an appointment with his regular pediatrician. Finally at 7:00 PM his «regular» pediatrician called and said there is nothing they can do tonight, they will try to squeeze me in tomorrow. (Try?) Off to GetMed Urgent Care in Tamarac I went, for the first time, and within 15 minutes I was in/​out and on my way to the pharmacy for the needed Rx. The staff and the physician were incredible. They handled him beautifully, were thorough, efficient, and it was all covered by health insurance. If I could give them a 10-​star rating I would. Why in the world does anyone go to the ER anymore, when places like this exist? While still signing in at the front desk, the doctor was ready to see my grandson, and we were out in a flash. From beginning to end it was outstanding. I’ll be back… and with an infant, I’ll be back OFTEN. I am very grateful to the wonderful folks at GetMed Urgent Care in Tamarac.
