A great location if traveling in I-10. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Lots of hot water. Sally the housekeeper brought us extra pillow and towels right away when we asked and she was so accommodating and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Shonda at front desk showed us how to use the food delivery service(had many near-by restaurants on the menu), Easy to park our RV. Ice and laundry two doors down. had good coffee. Not weak or bitter. An inexpensive motel with service of a 4 star hotel that makes your stay enjoyable. Wifi was free but a little slow. No mini fridge or microwave. This was a good value. The guests /staff /neighborhood seemed nice we didnt worry about our RV during the night! Also used our AARP card for a discount. #motel6

Terrible! At arrival my husband was approached by a young woman who said she needed help or was in trouble; she had been sitting at a bench or table near the lobby and did not appear to be a guest of the hotel because she had bags with her. We called ahead to reserve a groundfloor room, when we arrived we were given a tiny room with little space around the mattress with a bathroom nearly the same size as the bedroom. The tub had two layers of squishy matts no sure how it is cleaned. Cars were coming and going all night in the parking lot, it did not feel particularly safe. Plus at 3:30AM a couple had a fight just outside our room. We have stayed at the LaQuinta nearby several times, I would recommend LaQuinta over this Motel 6: the room we had was dreadful and the property seemed unsafe to us. Not sure if the motel has security.

Clean, brand new bright paint. Friendly staff. It’s a motel 6. You get what you pay for. However, it’s cheaper than the other one without the criminal and questionable guests you’ll find downtown. Helpful, friendly management. Restaurants near by. Location isn’t downtown. That’s a big plus! A few minutes of extra driving delivers a quiet safe stay.

Newly remodeled Motel 6. I was hesitant to choose this hotel because of other reviews but am so glad I did. The room is extremely clean, linens are bright white, door locks are fresh and new and the hallways are well lit. There is even an elevator for toting luggage up and down. I just wish it wasn’t so cold because the pool looks heavenly. Also… The front desk clerk was very polite, friendly and straight forward… When I asked about the pet policy, she said, «we expect you to clean up after your Pets and have them on a leash when going to and from your car»… Fair enough. Very happy.

Late check in after driving all evening, was doubtful after seeing negative reviews. I was met by very friendly staff at front desk and received a newly renovated room, clean and reasonable rate. The front desk clerk made a slight mistake by telling me the wrong room, but I caught it so no harm done there. I didn’t see any criminal activity and it was quiet at 1am, perhaps they cleaned up the problem? Overall — good and would recommend.

this sums up my experience pretty well– walked into room(which reeked of cigarettes even though it was apparently a non smoking room), set stuff down on bed, walked over to bathroom, random hairs ON toilet seat, live cockroach in the sink. yup.

I have stayed at good Motel 6’s and bad ones — this was one of the latter. It wasn’t the absolute worst(that dishonor will be my next review) but two big things very much marred my stay. This location is not upgraded in any way but it isn’t extremely run-down either. However, the biggest problem I had was that the A/C was very weak. It never managed to cool our room down to a comfortable temperature so sleep was very difficult. Additionally, their wi-fi was down completely. The blankets were a bit skanky looking but the bedspreads and sheets weren’t too bad. Really though, if you’re a motel in the south, you need to have a working A/C. And hotel rooms are really boring if your wi-fi doesnt work. So I would not stay here again.
