Worst service in Tally, the cooks can not cook anything other then wings. Sent my steak back twice. Worst Ale House, Miller should be ashamed.

On the menu today for the ladies; Chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes — it was cold but looked really good. Didn’t get a chance to send it back because the waiter’s timing was a little off. Seafood Mac and Cheese — delicious– according to my 88 year old friend. The Cobb salad looked amazing. I had the fish and chips but substituted black beans and rice for the chips.(Yeah, it’s not fish and chips then but I don’t like fries.) The plate looked amazing! The fish was hot and flaky. The cole slaw was just right. The beans and rice a good choice. All the plates were brought out promptly and all were correct.(3 people were carrying our plates while the waiter told them where they went). Then, we didn’t see anyone for a while. One of the managers came around and asked about the food, which was nice. My friend was packing her cold chicken and mashed potatoes away to take home to heat. Much to his credit, the manager offered to drop a fresh chicken down and bring a new plate. That was appreciate but the rest of us were finishing up. He said that he appreciated hearing about the lack of a follow up by the waiter. The waiter was nice and friendly, but just disappeared after the food was served. Because of the Manager’s action, I will make it a point to return. I enjoyed this day.

The only good thing millers had was the super bowl party and it’s the only reason I go there and now they are not even doing it anymore wow.

Tonight my wife and I decided we would try Millers Ale House and decided that we would check Unilocal to finalize our decision. Having read the whole gamut of reviews I wasn’t discouraged and decided anyway that much of the quality of any restaurant is dependent on the quality of people. staff and management at a particular time. So we went to Millers tonight. Briefly said, we had a great meal for a good price. Walking in the front door we were promptly met by the hostess who asked us what type of seating we wanted. After we were seated, our waitress promptly arrived with a smile. She took our drink orders, and at my request, helped me with a beer choice. She was knowledgable of the beer choices. Drinks were delivered quickly and she politely asked if we needed more time with the menu. Yes we did and she left only to come back at the perfect time to take our orders. I ordered the prime rib(it was the Thursday night special). After having the best prime rib of my life years ago at the old Tree Steak House in Tallahassee made by Chef Tim, I was skeptical that anyone ever could approach that quality. With my prime rib, I ordered sweet potatoe fries and cole slaw. It came with a nice Au Jus and at my request, horseradish. My wife ordered zingers, which is basically chicken fingers with a thin hot sauce lightly applied. As said, I ordered the prime rib somewhat skeptical it would great. But to my surprise, it was GREAT. Really well spiced, cooked perfectly. Lord, you know when you don’t want something to end, it is good and that is how this prime rib was, I didn’t want it to end… fantastic. I gave my wife several bites and I took a couple of chicken zingers in trade. They were good too, as usual. I drank a couple of beers. Both were ice cold, the way I love beer. Waitress Brittany promptly removed the empty plates from the table as we progressed through the meal. And when we were through, she brought the check promptly. All in all, the food was great, the service was great and a special thank you to Brittany for being a great waitress. informative, attentive, efficient and polite. She helped make this a great restaurant visit. And back again on the prime rib, my wife didn’t order it because she was also skeptical about the expected quality but we both loved it and decided we are going back to Millers soon to get more of that great prime rib.

Consistently mediocre service with pretty good food. Came for lunch today hoping for a great experience but server Andy was clearly doing the absolute bare minimum with a few tables. I got the cranberry walnut salad which comes with only a few ingredients and asked pretty clearly for the Bleu cheese crumbles on the side, but the salad came with Bleu cheese dressing on the side and Bleu cheese crumbles still on top. Not a huge deal, but the service could have definitely made up for the food mistake. But for a sports bar at niight, it’s not the worst place to go.

I have never been so offended at a restaurant in my whole life!!! On Friday night I carried six members of my family out to Miller’s. There was a couple sitting close to us who were making an absolute spectacle of themselves, practically dry humping each other. We called the manager over to complain, and he offered to move us to another table, however our food was coming out at that point so we opted to not move. Apparently this passionate couple was somehow connected to the restaurant as multiple servers were stopping by their table to hang out and chat. Somebody must have mentioned to them that we complained as the couple and their server friends started giving us dirty looks. Here we had actual employees of the restaurant staring us down, giving us dirty looks, and making snide comments under their breath about my family. I found another manager and confronted one of the servers. No apology was offered on behalf of the restaurant. As far as the food was concerned my wife’s fajitas were stone cold and had to be re-cooked. Our entrées with the zingers were good as usual. I would also like to point out that this was not some late-night atmosphere, this was normal family dinner time 730 to 9:30 when this transpired. There were no major sporting events going on nor any other type of special event. The lack of care by management that their employees were actually verbally insulting my family is unforgivable. I will never be back to this place! Some people need to lose their jobs over the treatment of customers. Update to review… The local general manager, after reading my reviews, made it a point to reach out to me and hear my side of the story. I was very impressed with his care and concern and how upset he was. You could just tell he was going to do everything in his power to make it right. I have a feeling Heads rolled and the world was set straight after my conversation with him! I have since gone back to Miller’s and given them another chance. On my February 18 visit, lunch was great service was awesome.

Reccomended from hotel I stayed at tonight. Food and service was horrible and my bartender Kelsey was more interested in «chit chatting» with her friends, but i expected that since i was tole the manager left and they only hire kids. I serve my dog better food and service than i received tonight. And its not just this Miller house… It has been everyone 8 have been too. I am officially done with this company

Its a family bar with pretty good drink specials and a wide variety of food. I thought on a holiday weekend that I would have to wait to be seated but we were seated right away! That was the only thing we received right away. The place was empty beside 3 or 4 other tables that were in other sections besides ours. With that being said we consistently waited a long time for our food, our server, and our checks. By the time we got our food my ribs were cold but I wasn’t about to say anything because our server didn’t check on us till we were almost done so I couldn’t find him to tell him earlier. Also who knows how long I would have waited to get my fresh ribs and I was starving!

Always a reliable meal at an afforable price. Service is hit or miss based on if there is an event(i.e. boxing match or football game). The buffalo chicken sandwich and the chicken nachos are both my go to items, if I want pasta or a more traditional entrée typically I reserve that for another venue. Sitting outside is nice if you don’t mind the smokers and the high top area inside is great for watching the games casually with friend.

Ale house has pretty large menu. I would say menu consist of fried seafood, sandwiches, and steak dinners. Obviously they got more items but Only reason I come here is for their cheap burger and bake potato. Can’t go wrong with quality and price. Their beer specials and location make it great place to meet friends. Their outside patio is one the best in town on rainy day or evenings. Definitely the definition of a sports bar. Big TVs with real HD feed. Golden tee. Reason for 4 stars is they took their original basic ale house burger off the menu so I asked and waitress said it was still on computer. When I got my burger compared to my friends it was smaller for not getting the three topping burger… basically ale house where my original basic ale house burger go and why it get smaller?

Just your typical bar with mediocre bar food. Good thing for Millers that they are open fairly late and walking distance to the hotel I was staying at. The drinks were cheap, but not as cheap as Cabos across the street there… Millers has its purpose and it does it well. I would probably go back to Millers, but only if I was staying super close to it like my last trip…

The sports bar has a space like no other, including a patio, and in my opinion, provides one of the best environments to watch a sporting event. The sizeable menu can come off intimidating to a first timer, but wings, burgers and seafood items are always consistently good. Furthermore, a massive cocktail selection with daily specials offers bar rats a cheap place to drink and keep ‘em coming back. The Ale House in my small hometown is the hotspot for locals. Hence from at least a hundred visits, I know the menu like the back of my hand. The Tallahassee location also plays a fundamental part in the bar community. With it being a necessity, I award the Ale House four stars. Ol’ reliable consistently lives up the name, engraving itself in the city as a bar and grille staple.

Went on a Thursday night for some drinks and food. We started with some beers which there is a huge selection of. After we got some chicken nachos which were enormous and delicious! And when I say enormous I mean it!!! We continued with the beers and also ended up getting the big red sand which was also very tasty but at this point I was already stuffed! Overall great food and great spot to grab some drinks casually with some friends. Also great specials! Only complaint was that I could barely hear anything our waitress said because she talked so softly.

It is a pretty simple American bar restaurant. Loaded with television screens to watch sports while you chat with friends. My friends and I wanted to grab a bite and see what this place is about. They have a fair amount of beers and also some mixed drinks to choose from. When we were ordering food I was told that they were short on some choices from the menu due to it being their last day before stock is replenished. It was ok with me since we really wanted to try their unique sauces and the zingers. A loaded mess of sauce and yet so much goodness. Their chicken wings are average, but the garlic sauce and spicy one is also mouth savoring. Our waiter was extra nice and cool, constantly refilling our drinks and asking if we needed more. Overall I would come here again due to not being disappointed, but not exactly amazed.

Waited at least 10 minutes at my table for a server to greet me. No one ever acknowledged me, even though the server working the section walked by me twice. It wasn’t even busy, there were only 2 other tables seated on that side of the restaurant, and one had already paid their bill. I got up and left without a word from anyone, and walked next door to Logans.

Usually a great dinner experience, tonight was the exception. Our party of four ordered, and we waited a usual amount of time for three of the entrees. The last order took over 15 minutes to arrive. The others were finished and ready to leave when the shrimp linguine finally arrived. The waitress made no effort to explain the wait other than to say the Alfredo sauce was delayed! She offered a dinner salad to compensate for the delay, brought the dressing & didn’t bring the salad. Finally, after asking about it, she brought it(and ultimately charged for the salad.) after waiting another 10 – 12 minutes for the bill, we finally spoke with the manager. The zingers & the shrimp dinners were great. The service was horrendous! They need to train their staff better before letting them on the floor.

I have eaten here so many times, but stopped coming to the downtown area a few months back, so it has been a while. Back then, the food then was great — bar food that was hot, tasty and fast. Things have changed. Went with my wife for a quick dinner when we were on that side of the town and the food was pretty gross. Funny, we both ordered salads. I had the cobb, with shrimp on it, and they were barely done — and quite lukewarm. The salad dressing was a preservative-tangy blue cheese that made the salad limp and ordinary. Wife ordered another salad that was swimming in dressing. Service was annoying. Server would not leave us alone — until the food arrived. I tried to order a basket of fries, and when I was asked if I wanted them now or with my meal — to which I responded now, I was told she would just bring them with my meal. I laughed, as that was a really awkward conversation. Pretty disappointed with the overall experience. Probably should have gone the regular pub-grub route versus salads, but it just seemed like the place had gone a bit flat when I was in there.

Miller’s is always busy, but always good. A sports bar with a lot of space, back patio, and TVs makes it ideal to watch the game or just hang out with mix company. The food is typical bar food, but with a lot of selection. Fajitas, nachos, steak, chicken, and whatever else you’d want. Great place to bring large crowds, drink up, and hang out.

Millers is consistently good — and has a great outdoor area. In fact — they just added an outside — outside area! Check out fire pit pix. Millers is a seafood place so most offerings as such — my wife generally orders the zinger salad with buffalo chicken. I mix it up. Today, ordered the ossobuco. Not once have had anything less than good fare and service. It’s a chain — but — it’s still good. It attracts a diverse spectrum of guests — barflies — dates — small/large groups. I like it.

Stopped by here after the FSU game for beer and desert. The place was packed, over an hour wait for a table for 2. we got lucky and found 2 seats at the bar. It took a while for the bartender to come over, but I really can’t knock him on that because it was so busy. Once he greeted us, he was great, my dessert came out quickly, he made sure we were doing ok a few times before we cashed out. I will say of all the Miller Ale houses I’ve been to, this was by far the most busy one.
