The coffee was very over sweetened which wouldn’t have bugged me so much if the service wasn’t rude. The girl at the drive thru window didn’t greet us at all and she snapped the window closed on us twice without making eye contact or speaking to us. Very disconcerting.

The parking lot is a challenge, due to the construction on Roosevelt, but other than that it’s a DD with the typical collection of goodies. The people are nice and it’s well run — especially when you consider much of the wait staff of this sort in Key West is a bit … well … lousy.

We had gone to this DD once before and received mediocre service, but hey, it’s a donut/​ice cream shop. A few weeks ago, I had a donut craving and the calories to spare, so we stopped by. We walked in, and two people were behind the counter, and five of us waiting for service. The staff focused all of their attention on the drive through, ignoring the customers in the store. After five minutes, the woman and man in front of us walked out in disgust. My mate and I still had not been acknowledged when someone else walked in and was waited on! We turned heel and walked out of the store, and are never going back. We also made a point of telling new arrivals in the parking lot about the horrible service, and we have told our friends about our experience. Forget this location. Poorly trained staff, lously customer service.
