Nothing better than one of their ham sandwiches! They also have daily lunch items. Today they had chicken and dumplings which we loved. Simple, order at the counter place where you pour and refill your own drinks.

The white bean chili is amazing and my «go to» when it is cool out and is on the menu. Get the bowl, a cup will only tantalize your taste buds and leave you wanting more. It is not an understatement when I say I have never had any of their items that disappointed. Should you be fortunate enough to spy a corner piece of their home made brownies, you would do a disservice to your taste buds by not picking one up. I had been remiss in sharing their famous ham with my family. So just two days ago I corrected that oversight. I volunteered to bring the ham for Christmas. I’m sure they all thought I was exaggerating when I gave my impression of possibly THE best spiral cut ham I had ever had. Over the years we had tried them all. Around the table, I witnessed those that generally nibble at ham devour theirs and go back for seconds and then thirds. I can only comment on my experience, I’ve never had any thing from Connie’s that even came close to disappointing. Try the Reubens, the chicken salad, the ham sandwiches as well as their ham salad ones. The Brunswick stew is thick, rich and full of flavor. And of course the white bean chili. Yum. From the owner, to the whole staff, I’ve always have received prompt, courteous professional service. Those are my experiences. Try it for yourself. For the record, I don’t know for a fact, but I believe all their soups, chilis and stews are home made, not from a can.

Had a corned beef sandwich and chicken chili the other day. Sandwich was amazing! However, the chili tasted like canned soup.

Simply the worst-managed business and customer service in the city… While the food may be ok, it’s not worth the hassle or waste of one’s time watching uninterested teenagers ignore customers to talk about their friends and play games on their phones, or an owner who has no clue on how to manage staff or conveniently serve customers. There’s far better options in town.

My sister turned me on to this place way back when. This is the best sandwich joint in town. Connie’s is definitely classic Tallahassee to me. My Favorite here is the Chicken Salad sandwich with American Cheese on the Hoagie roll. Then I get it pressed. The service here is great, the people are friendly, and it’s close to Maclay Gardens if you wanna make a nice picnic out of it. Also: There are pigs all over the place! I mean they have dolls, paintings, porcelain pigs, plastic pigs, wooden pigs, tin pigs, you name it. Pigs definitely describes the décor in this place.
