I visited here twice. The first time I ordered salmon, and this time was turkey burger. They were both well cooked and nicely displayed. Their menu has plenty of choices. And they also has a bar, but the screens are not large enough(not like those in real sports bar). Good customer service.

Let me start off by saying I frequent many BJ restaurants due to my travel work. Sharon, the bartender, is one of the best in this business. She remembered me from months prior and went above and beyond to welcome me back. This establishment should be super grateful to have such an amazing person working for them! Sharon made the experience!

After our movie ended late, there were very few places still open that we could expect to serve decent food. BJ’s thankfully was one of those. The service and food were both good, having had the brisket and bacon burger, as well as the baked ziti. The size of the restaurant also made it so that you didn’t have to wait around for seating to open up. I would highly recommend BJ’s, especially if the evening got away from you and you need some good food past 9pm.

Our first visit was on the fly and we were impressed with some things and not as much with others. Since then, I’ve done some Unilocal reading and decided we needed to go back and try some more of what they have to offer. The seating and ambiance are still impressive. The staff was once again friendly and attentive. The highlights of our meal were: Draft Root Beer, Root Beer Glazed Ribs, BJ’s Brewhouse Classic Tavern Cut Pizza and the Pizookie Trio. It doesn’t get better than a frosty mug of seriously good root beer. BJ’s is made with real sugar. In addition to the root beer, they also have vanilla cream soda, orange cram soda and black cherry soda on draft. AND they’ll make any of them into a float upon request. Giving into temptation occasionally can be a good thing, right? We shared the Root Beer Glazed Ribs to start. They were cooked perfectly and the sauce was tasty. They were gone in the blink of an eye. Oh so tender meat and savory sauce. Yes, please! BJ’s Brewhouse Classic Tavern Cut Pizza is just the way we like it. Thin crispy crust with flavorful tasty sauce. It’s topped with pepperoni, fresh mushroom and Italian sausage and BJ’s 5 cheese blend. Hot, fresh, crispy, cheesey goodness. It ticked all our pizza-lovin’ boxes. WINNER The Pizookies will keep us coming back. Time and time again. We shared the Pizookie Trio this time: Chocolate Chunk, Triple Chocolate with Ghiradelli and Peanut Butter. Om nom nom nom. I can’t imagine ending a meal here without a Pizookie and I wouldn’t question anyone starting a meal that way either. Final Assessment: We’re fans! Not sure how we managed to not try a BJ’s Brewhouse before but we’ll be looking for them now.

We have had two very good lunches since our off start last August. The past two times we sat at the bar and were treated to very able and congenial bartenders. Today we sipped house made sodas(very good) and sweet tea(also very good). We shared a broccoli and cheese soup that was very cheesy and tasty. I would have preferred more broccoli, but it was a nice appetizer course. I tried the half triple decker with wedge fries and my companion had a grilled ham and cheese with wedge fries. These coated and tasty potatoes are like tiny tater logs that we love to get at chicken shacks. Sandwich meats were excellent quality and piled high. The only thing I could think to add to my sandwich might be an option to add bacon; everything needs bacon. We left with happy, full bellies AND leftovers and change in our pockets. Excellent value! We will be back; maybe for dinner so I can try a flight of BJ’s brews!

We waited about two hours for our food plus we had waiters and waitresses come to our table MULTIPLE times, asking us if the entrée they had in hand was ours. Nobody knew what food belonged to whom. Additionally, I got soup and salad. The salad was great but the broccoli cheddar soup was probably the worst broc. cheddar soup I’ve ever had. It was mushy and had a nasty flavor. I love BJ’s for their atmosphere but the service and food is AWFUL.

I was here for the first time around March 1st with my fiancé, we had a good experience all in all. I ordered a jelepeno margarita and my fiancé ordered a drink that we had somewhere else and they both were good. Our server or waiter I believe his name was Damien, not sure though was very witty and very sure of himself. The food was good as well. The only down side I have to say is that the rest rooms are not very well lit, not me but that may bother those women who maybe need to touch there make-up just saying.

I’ve visited here twice once at night and the other during lunch hour I loved the fresh crème soda and root beer on tap. I had a pizza and my mother ordered wings they were delicious. The lighting is awkward during lunch time came in when they first opened and it was just entirely too dark for lunch time like mood lighting for a date.

Interior and atmosphere is nice, food is alright — 3 star rating it is. What’s Nice: Big restaurant, plenty of seating. You could host a large party here with no problem. The dip to chip ratio is good! We usually have to ask for more chips to finish the spinach dip — which is pretty good. Pizookie. The main reason we come here. The menu rotates, but you can’t go wrong with the tried and true chocolate chip. The trio option is nice too ;) What’s Not: Menu is freakin’ ENORMOUS. Unless you know what you’re getting ahead of time, you can spend a good 20 flipping through. Drinks don’t have prices. Our waitress told us nothing is over $ 10, with the Long Island being the most expensive. Prices are alright, it’s the lack of printing that’s the problem. The basic margarita($ 7 – 8) was alright, nothing special. All in all — not incredible but a safe bet when you’re not sure what you want. They have just about everything.

Christmas shopping night out for the family!!! Stopped by for the Awesome Rootbeer for the kids and a Big Boy Beer for dad… The waitress(Yazzie)suggested Tatonka Beer and it was a hit!!! Dark Draft… Soup, salad, pizza, relaxed atmosphere, good music, and my wife loves this place… Great Job BJ’s and Merry Christmas!!! Visited 12-21-2015 at 7pm…

I’m a fan of BJ’s restaurant from my native city in Texas, which why we decided to eat here. Unfortunately, our experience significantly missed the mark. The food was ok, but not impressive. I do not recommend the bison burger at all. I ordered it, and it tasted pretty much like beef. Being someone who loves and cooks with bison — it was so disappointing. Our server was polite, but not enthusiastic. Seemed like perhaps they were understaffed? Overall, just a miss for us. We were just traveling through — but I’m sure there are much better places to eat in town. We travel through this area a lot, but will not be back nor recommend it.

Expected a lot from the ambiance and décor, which are nice if you like dark and bar-like, but pretty. Got a pasta dish and was totally disappointed in it, particularly for the price. It was over-priced, overdone and tasted like a microwaved pasta. Seriously.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. Both the food and the service are great. The other day I had the new Deep Dish Ziti and it was wonderful! I like their pizza, too. I really like the selection of beers and ciders — I can try new and different ones. And the club for regulars has great rewards, free meals and lots of coupons. There is lots of room inside; even when it looks crowded, there are usually still places to sit.

My coworkers and I just had the worst delays here. As State workers, we don’t have 1.5 hours to wait to order, get food, billed, etc. Their whole process is jacked and slow. Too bad cuz the food is great, but we won’t be coming back and we used to be frequent flyers. Even the Manager went to get us something from the kitchen to go as we were leaving and obviously immediately dropped the ball and was never to be seen again… as we waited standing for another 10 mins and the waitress finally helped. SHAMEFUL

I just had another crappy meal at BJ’s. I ordered the baby back ribs. They were burnt on the outside, with bristles from the bbq brush on top. The beer, Hoppy Scotsman, was good this time. One time At BJ’s, there was something rubbery and round, like the shape of the tap floating in the foam of my beer. It was like an old beer bacteria colony floating. I am done with BJ’s…in front of Dick’s sporting goods. nice building, crappy food

Just made our first trip here and we really enjoyed it! Upon walking into the restaurant I immediately noticed all the seating. There is definitely ample seating, especially for big groups. It was very clean and spacious. Our waitress was Krista, who was very pleasant and welcoming. The menu is huge people! There was so much on there that I kept going back and forth on entrees, so they have a little something for everyone. I finally settled on the cream soda, calamari for an appetizer and lightly fried mahi mahi tacos for my entrée. The cream soda was very tasty! The calamari was absolutely delicious! I’ve always had rubbery, hard to chew calamari but this absolutely melted in my mouth. The mahi mahi tacos were just as yummy. My son had the root beer float, which he loved so much that he decided to get another one and he didn’t leave a drop in either cup! His appetizer was the mozzarella sticks and his entrée was the root beer glazed wings. Yes, he was in a root beer mood today:-) He loved all his food and even had enough leftovers to bring home. We were stuffed so decided to bring dessert home of the pizookie trio with white chocolate macadamia nut, salted caramel and triple chocolate. Those were very good also! Service was great. Food was delicious. We will be returning to try more!

If I could give my experience last night zero stars I would. To preface this I have been a server and worked on very busy nights but for a restaurant, that constantly has a line out the door, they should have handled themselves better. Besides our drinks taking a half hour to get to us and our meals taking an hour(with my birthday dessert arriving before everyone’s meal), the food ended up being cold and the waitress even colder. We got no apology from her and no attention at all. We asked for the manager and told our waitress we knew it wasn’t her fault we just wanted to comment on how cold the food was and she met us with attitude back. The manager never came to our table, we had to go find him an hour later. And he also had no apology to offer. I was appalled and we will never be spending any more time at BJs. My birthday dinner was ruined by rude service and even worse management.

This was my second time here because I like the proximity of this restaurant to my nearby Hilton Inn, which is within easy walking distance. I was here again on business with my associate. Tonight I started with a pint of their Tatonka stout for $ 5.25. I also enjoyed their full rack of barbeque ribs for $ 21.95 which was more than filling so I could not finish all of my ribs. It was truly gut busting. I ended my dinner with a pint of their red draft for $ 4.95. Damien H. did a good job of taking care of both of us. My share of the dinner was $ 35. I will probably return here because of the convenient location.

Love the beer selections. Everytime i go here i am waited on by either Taylor or Lindsey and they are both fantastic at there jobs. I love the flatbreads here. I believe thursday has half off appetizers at the bar! An interesting thing about bj’s is that they make there own beers however it is not brewed locally or on location.

Had lunch here today, it was decent. The parmesan crusted chicken wasn’t quite as pictured, and the chicken itself was a little burnt, but it was delicious once I got over the burned bits. However, it did take an hour+ to get food for a mostly empty place. Asked the waiter to lower the shades and after he did so, he took the orders of tables that came after us, and we had to get up and flag him down to take our order finally(20+ minutes to lower the blinds and return to take our order??). Food came without silverware, which took asking two separate waiters to get. For dessert, we had the triple ghirardelli pizookie, which was great, aside a very iron-y metal taste, which was either the silverware or tin it was served in, and it did not complement the chocolate well. In addition: I stumbled across another reviewer’s photo of the same parmesan crusted chicken dish. It is very clear this time around it was not at all cooked at its best. Where their photo has a beautifully golden texture, mine did not.

First time. Ordered off the lunch menu, pork slider and BBQ chicken breast. Companion had soup and salad which came right out. My dish, not so much. Twelve minutes later, a cool plate was delivered. The chicken was grilled perfectly, but not worth a re-order. The slider was so briny I could not eat it. It was as if someone poured a tablespoon of salt on the tiny thing. Onion strings were soft and greasy, potatoes had not been cleaned and were too gritty. The chicken was the only edible food on my plate. The sweet tea was the best thing I had this outing. Southern goodness. In all, I kept staring off to an über cool bar with tons of taps that promised something better if I returned. I will, one day, but not for lunch.

Lunch stop. I had the AYCE salad and soup. Round 1 : Chili and house salad. Chili was good, taste like Hormel can chili . Was served room temperature. It is a beer chili made with their house beer. Again good, they need me to share my chili receipe. Salad was good, basic . Round 2 : Chicken Tortilla soup and house salad . Soup was warm but not as hot as it should be served. My first bite was into a lime wedge they had put it the bowl, yuk! Salad was good. Round 3 : Salad only. Good . Since both soups were not hot I can assume they are made and reheated or are some food serve pre made types. Server, Summer, was very good.

This is one of my favorite places to eat here in Tallahassee. The restaurant is fairly new but every time I’ve eaten here it’s always been a great experience. My favorite dish form here is the jambalaya. Everyone tells me to try their pizza, I just haven’t had a chance to. Oddly enough BJ’s is known for their in house beers l but not one person has recommend for me to try it. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing.

Yes! We had a GREAT dining experience at BJ’s tonight.(Note that we’ve enjoyed all of our previous experiences except for one consistent hiccup that we experienced each time — see prior review. We were a 7-top, seated at what I learned was table 616(center row on the left room(closest to Blairstone)) and Chelsea was our server. Early on, she very courteously and attentively helped us through the menu selections and was pleasant and cheerful throughout.(A very busy night with a seemingly constant door-wait for parties of all sizes). We placed our order — one very similar to those of the past(salads, soups, apps, entrees) and in short order — we had everything delivered. Truly a five-star experience. BJ’s deserved it all along for every area other than plate delivery(which I chalked up to an order entry process) and tonight, the stars aligned. Way to go Chelsea! Way to go BJ’s!

Reservations not required, but recommended. We came about 5:15 pm on a Saturday, and the wait time for a table was already 20 minutes. We watched the wait line continue to grow longer behind us, as the restaurant was full. We then had to wait a little while for our service and food, because they were so busy. We were OK with that, as we weren’t in a hurry. Their staff was hustling. We left happy. As visitors, we then found it a little confusing getting back to Apalachee Pkwy from the restaurant. You might want to bring your trusty GPS.

Service at the take out desk was great. The server was friendly, attentive, and cheery. I had ordered the top sirloin with a side of brussels sprouts and steamed broccoli. The sirloin was good, however, the spice around it was a little overpowering. The meat itself was tender. The brussels sprouts did not look green anymore and looked a bit overcooked. Otherwise the steamed broccoli was great. I ordered a side of fried artichokes with lemon garlic aioli sauce. The sauce was tasty and the artichokes weren’t bad. The bruschetta was my favorite. Instead of the topping being on a crostini, it was on top of a tasty bread. The side of pesto sauce was tasty as well.
