This is a VERY nice choice in Tallahassee. The best BW we have stayed in… auto upgraded to a suite due to membership. Very modern, clean, beautiful room. DELICIOUS breakfast. All the staff was very friendly. Wish we had more time here and that ALL Best Westerns were this nice!

Friendly Staff(both front desk and janitorial). The public areas are beyond immaculate and the breakfast has something warm or cold for everyone. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and the gym has a variety of cardio, freeweights, and a machine. The location is central to the interstate, and shopping. As a tip, you can often find a good price for this on Priceline.

This place was really fro start to finish. I stayed across the parking lot last week. That hotel was not very good. This one is like night n day different, They young man at the desk was very nice and there was no problems checking in. My room was close to the parking which was great with the late nights and long days ahead. The electricians from the job recommended this place but said the breakfast was lacking. Boy were they wrong and I found out on the last morning. Fresh scrambled eggs, not the re-heated kind like across the street. I did enjoy my breakfast and wish I would have used it all week instead of going somewhere else. The room was also quite nice and everything wasn’t new but was in like new shape. The refrig was turned on too. So you didn’t have to turn it in and wait till things got cold. It’s the little things that make it nice to this traveling worker bee. I have to return next week and I’ll be back that’s for sure.

I had a fine stay at this hotel, but it definitely could have been better. I choose this hotel for a business trip, based on its Tripadvisor rating as «#1 of 59 hotels in Tallahassee,» but I’m really puzzled as to how this property achieved this rating. The hotel overall and my room in particular were clean and comfortable, for the most part. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was sufficient. Coffee was actually pretty decent. Amenities featured Pantene shampoo and conditioner. But the hotel is located in a no-man’s land, surrounded by other hotel parking lots, with no food options in sight but Waffle House and the restaurant at neighboring Holiday Inn, which was fine. In fact, when I arrived at my business meeting, they were really puzzled why I was staying in such a desolate area(apparently also known as an unsavory part of town). The«fitness center» consisted of exactly one stationary bike, one elliptical machine, one weight lifting machine, and a broken treadmill, crammed into a tiny room with no ventilation, so it got pretty uncomfortable pretty quickly. I understand that rooms downtown can be pricey and difficult to reserve during the legislative season, but given the opportunity for a re-do, I was recommended to try a Residential Suites or Loft property instead before returning to this hotel. It was adequate, but definitely not ideal.

Welcome find after long day, good value for the price. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was just OK but it got us going the next morning. Easy on and off of I75.

Stopped here last minute, no reservation. Rolled into Tallahassee after midnight and tired. Front desk(Michael) was extremely helpful and had us checked in within minutes. The room was excellent, clean bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend and when we make this trip again in August, we will definitely stay here.

I really wanted to give this hotel a higher rating. We arrived in Tallahassee with the intention of finding a hotel that was affordable(under 60 $ if possible) and smoke free. No luck. Every hotel for under 100 $ had smoking rooms. Looking at the BW+ reviews… We decided to bite the bullet and invest the extra money to ensure our health and comfort. The first night was fine. The rooms here have nice modern aesthetics and are kept very clean. In the morning we decided to try the continental breakfast and that’s when the problems began. I know it’s common practice for hotels to serve«just add water» artificial eggs and flavorless baked goods loaded with chemicals and preservatives, but for 120 $/night I expect much more. This place even has an automatic pancake machine… Cool concept, but the rubbery disc it spits out is in no way a pancake. Pancakes are fluffy and delicious. Pancakes absorb maple syrup, this thing had a maple syrup force field. Or maybe the high fructose corn syrup syrup they were trying to pass off as maple syrup had a rubbery pancake colored disc force field. I don’t know, either way I ended up eating frosted flakes and the worst parts of my child hood came flashing back into my conscious memory(waking up at 6 am for school and eating frosted flakes every morning for 12 years). So not only am I paying 120 $ a night for a bed, but now I come to the conclusion that to be in a decent mood for the beginning of the day I’ll have to invest another 10 $ on breakfast at a local restaurant. Fine. At least I’m not breathing toxic air. Until the third night. We arrived at the hotel in the evening after working all day and the hallway was filled with so much smoke I’m surprised a smoke alarm didn’t go off. You’ve got to be kidding me. I walk down to the front desk and the child behind the counter asks if I’d like my room changed. Considering the inconvenience of having to move rooms and basically having just wasted 200 $ to stay in a hotel that had nothing to offer but cosmetic luxuries… I think I need a little bit more than that. I know that it’s not the hotels fault that some asshole broke the rules but if I don’t feel like it’s unfair to expect some kind of compensation. He told me he couldn’t adjust our rate because we booked online(blatant lie) and that they couldn’t do anything about the smoker since smoke is invisible and can not be photographed. Lovely. To add insult to injury, all of the windows in the hotel are permanently screwed shut. Thanks Best Western!

Beautiful hotel. Not too pricey and very friendly front desk people. Clean, quiet and enjoying our night. Would definitely stay here again
