Wonderful, beautiful and GREAT wine. The owner was a delight and made us feel very at home. They have a dog named Johnny and we got to let our dog Reggie out so they could run and play. Very relaxing place. We will be going back very soon

Great place! Excellent wines served in a unique ambience with a great view. The lady in charge was one of the nicest we’ve met in a winery.

This place is an absolute must visit. I’d live here if I could. It’s important to note that ownership has changed before giving any weight to OLD negative reviews. The prices here are great, the service and view were spectacular, and the wines were awesome. The Three Sisters and Riesling were my favorites because I LOVE sweeter wines. I cannot wait to bring visitors to this amazing gem.

I’ve stopped back by a few times now for some great dinner and wine specials. The music and ambiance are always enjoyable. The views are my favorite!

Great spot close to Ashland. If you want to go to a winery but don’t have the time to drive to one this is perfect

Great place. The lady from Poland was cute and friendly and not by the book with samples and prices. She let is try a few things and explained the discount if we bought bottles… which we did. She was a one woman sure, but did great!!! The whites are strong the reds were a little bitter for my tongue. A good stop!!!

Paschal Winery and Vineyard is fantastic! Everybody there is super friendly and wonderful, the musicians they bring in are fabulous and the food is oh so delicious! …and did I mention the wines? They are divine. The real bonus is that this little winery is walking distance from our house. What else can you ask for? Oh, did I mention that they sell chocolate?

Paschal has become a home away from home for my family. We frequent this establishment often. Since the change in ownership about a year ago, the tasting room has become the warm and inviting environment I remember from when we first moved here 8 years ago! We have a one year old daughter and have other friends who have children and this place is warm and inviting to families! They host many events for the community at low or no charge and also support many other local business in the process! If you haven’t ever been or have not been in a while, check it out!

Showed up with a group of people at 6:02 and was turned away. Not even an apology. Note! Roughly 12 – 15 people in the the tasting room.

Lovely location, OKAY wine… I usually am a red drinker and I preferred their whites. I do like that they use the property for lots of different local events…

I will start out by saying the wine is enjoyable… However, I would never recommend holding an event at this location. I just had my daughters wedding there, and Donna, the owner was VERY difficult, rude, forgetful, and greedy! Even going so far as to approach me about additional money while the reception was still going on. I could go on, but whatever you do, please think twice before holding an event there. There are many beautiful wineries in the Rogue Valley to choose from!

This was my first time to the winery, and sadly I will never ever go back, nor with I ever buy their wine or recommend it to my friends/family. I visited this winery with 6 of my friends for my 30th birthday party. We rented a limo and were doing a tour of some of the wineries in Rogue Valley and this was on the list of recommended wineries from the limo company, so I decided to give it a go. It’s a beautiful venue with nice deck and large tasting room but when we first arrived the limo driver introduced us and the lady behind the counter, Donna, was very rude, acted like she didn’t know we were coming(they made an apt) then looked at her calendar and said«oh yeah, we did this as a last minute favor.» She was rude, no personality, no smiles, and we didn’t feel welcome at all. She then started pouring our wines and had poured me a glass of white, and I reminded her I ordered the red flight, but that I would try this one first. She then took the glass from me and THREWTHEWINEINTHESINK! I was appalled. First of all, if it had already been poured, no need to waste it, second, she could have been nice and said Happy Birthday, enjoy. HORRIBLESERVICE. She should not be behind the counter«serving people». She then told my friend she could not sit on the side of the bar area because that was for passport customers only(we were the only people in there), she also told us we could not have any of the food that was laid out because that also was for passport customers only. Then, as we were leaving she told us to straighten up the deck and put our seats back! What? Seriously this is the worst winery experience I have ever had. We were a fun bunch of girls and could have spent some money there on wines, but Donna was so awful all we wanted to do was leave.

Being from wine country in California I was really pleased with the reds I found at Paschal but what stood out the most was their Voignier Port which was so unusual that I had to try it. I knew it was coming at some point in my flight but the lady in the tasting room didn’t inform me that she had poured it for me until I had already choked on it because of it’s much higher alcohol content. The reds were great but the tasting room lady was distracted and snobbish at best. She got a little snooty when we said we were from California’s wine country but even her bitterness didn’t taint the beautiful Syrahs we tasted. I did however make sure to eat all of her oyster crackers.

LOCATION The winery/tasting room itself is really nice and quaint with great artwork and tasteful décor. The vineyard views are gorgeous from said tasting room.(3 – 4STARS). SERVICE We were travelling with a group of experienced tasters and our driver for the day was sipping and pouring(often spitting in the proper receptacle) in order to remain a safe driver. The part-owner serving us(on 3 occasions) scolded her for not drinking(pouring out) their wine. She went on and on about how it was their best wines that she was dumping. And even when our driver said, «I am driving» the accosting continued. Eventually, the driver gave up and just quit asking for any wine at all.(1STAR) WINE Well, I wish I had been driving-right out of there, frankly. We toured 68 wineries over a 10 day period(Umpqua, Rogue, Applegate, S. Willamette) and this was my very least favorite for the wine. Sadly, the red wines are all damaged(at least late summer 2011). Each wine tasted of being cooked, improperly stored or just plain rancid. Hefty doses of Hungarian and probably American ‘oak chips’ imparted harsh smoky wood and varnish into the palate and there was virtually no fruit. I love herbacious wines, but this was like having lead and sod in every sip. Every red wine had exactly the same qualities. I would write up each one as flawed. The one white we were offered was crisp, simple and palatable. (-4STARS) I really hope they improve their wine quality and fast or fear this local business will suffer. If it was my venture, I would cut my losses, dump all the current red vintage(s) which are not showing well and reopen when the new and palatable wine is ready. People remember the wine and won’t return even if the issue is corrected later.

Sadly dissapointed. I’ve visited a few times before and enjoyed it. Seems the new owners have replaced some of the finer Dobbs vines they used to pour and brought in some wines from the Sierra Foothills appelation of California, which had a harsh vegetative aftertaste that you get when blending an under-ripened cab. Stick to Oregon wines, thats what folks visit wineries in Oregon to taste. The Pinot Gris was nice. hint: 2 parts good wine plus two parts bad wine equals 4 parts bad wine.

We went to this winery and vineyard on 9÷12÷2010. Both my partner and I are fans of wine tasting and have visited many vineyards. I’ve never experienced such a weirdly apathetic service at the tasting bar, nor have I ever had someone not offer at least one free taste(they actually have 2 free tastes, but she never bothered to mention that). I thought maybe this was just a new employee, but it turns out that she was one of the owners. Additionally, of the 5 wines I tasted(I did the red flight), only one remotely stood out, 3 were medicore, and 1 was actually bad. Not«not within my palate,» but almost turned. I had the money and desire to spend on a couple of bottles of wine and a good experience, but not here.

I really like this Winery. The selection of wines is vast and very good. It is a good place for groups are there is lots of room and the tasting room has lots of charm. There is a large deck that you can sit out on overlooking the vineyards and ponds. Very scenic area. Staff was nice, not very personable but overall friendly. If your not an animal person you may want to steer clear or sit out on the deck as there is a cat and large, but very friendly, dog that roam the grounds and tasting room. I would definitely go back!

Great ambiance, lots of space, beautiful views. We were there on a rainy day, so I am giving it 4 stars to be fair(up from 3) because on a sunny day it woul’ve been ever prettier. The lady behind the counter didn’t smile much, which was the only bad thing I can say about this place. She was friendly, but not too friendly. Otherwise, I was told they have locals night and other cool events there. Worth checking it out!
