Do you like bed bugs? Because this place has bed bugs! After finding a bedbug and showing them the nice guy working the desk, he assured me the manager would give me a refund and that she would call me the next day to confirm. Long story short, never heard from her. After 5 calls and about 3 hours of holding, I managed to get a refund through . There are some things that are difficult for hotels to control, and I get that. But there is no excuse for terrible customer service from the manager. Avoid this place, bed bug treatment is way more expensive than a clean room.

First impression– the outside is scrubby with construction debris piled up haphazardly. Upon entering the room it was hot and smelled like sweat. The mattresses were visibly lumpy. 4 couch pillows were filling in as bed pillows. Cable was hit or miss, and the wi-fi was unsecured. The bathroom and linens were clean. There was a coffee maker and an ice bucket which was funny because the ice machines had been removed. And we really REALLY wanted some ice. Enter the evening. Our room was in the complete rear of the complex, and this is apparently where all of the drug dealers and prostitutes congregate at sundown. Loud and raucous, we called the front desk to have them ask the neighbors to settle down. Police were dispatched immediately which leads me to believe this is a routine event. Periodically through the evening our room filled with cigarette smoke, to the point that it woke us up. Between 10PM and 3AM it was Carnivale in the parking lot. This morning the lot is empty. I don’t recommend this place this place unless you really want to score some drugs or get with a prostitute.

Do not attempt to do a group courtesy booking here. They do not allow them, but don’t make that clear to you. The only«courtesy» is that if you meet a minimum number of rooms in your party, you get a discounted rate. If not, those who’ve already made reservations will be paying the regular going rate… and this will not be made clear to them! I was already leary of this place based on the other terrible reviews I’ve read. Now I know that its just not worth it to work with them!

Big fat ZERO. Attending Graduation for UMD, reserved non-smoking king room and double room with handicap accessibility. We reserved in Feb 2013 and when we got there the one handicap room was taken. And they had us on seperate floors, ANDTHEDOUBLEBEDROOM we needed for my mother-in-law WASONTHESECONDFLOOR! AGAIN no elevator, she cant do stairs. Asked for our rooms together but the only non smoking double beds were upstairs. Had to put my mother in law in a smoking room with my sister in-law. Internet was non-existant, and no printer available to print airline tickets. Bathroom toilet was practically in the tub. No way to close the door it was so cramped. Carpet by the door area was wet because of the gaps in the doors, musty smell from rain coming in. Could have passed a newspaper through the gap. Awe full hotel and the Econo Lodge next door no better. Choice Privileges should strip their name from this one. Pathetic and no where near worth 85.00. More like 50.00 dollar hole in the wall.

I originally stayed at this venue around May 1, 2012. Mildly seedy hotel in the seedy part of town. For the quality of the hotel, the price was rather steep {$ 80.00ish a night}. When this was closer to a $ 30.00-$ 40.00 place. Check In was painfully slow, but without problems. Room key card needed repeat visits to the front desk. Appointed room was decent quality with no complaints. Everything seemed clean. Cable reception was craptactular. But the WIFI worked without hassle. Room also contained a mini fridge/microwave. Overall appearance was a bit run down looking, but only fruited minor«questionable» activity. Breakfast was mediocre for a hotel. This happened to be the«cheapest», yet closest hotel to Silver Spring. That had a a rating higher than * but less than ***.

Our family stood here just one night and thats all it took. Not only was this hotel the most disgusting hotel ever but the staff was so rude and GHETTO!!! I have a toddler and did not even want to bathe him there. In my sister in laws room their sheets had URINE stains on the sheets(yuck). Not to mention they unfolded the blankets and found a nasty bug inside!!! My husband called the front desk to ask for extra towles and toilet paper and the girl that worked there was just rude and no help at all. I believe her words were«There ain’t any clean towels till morning and if you want paper come get it»… NEVEREVER stay here!!!

I was looking for a hotel near the apartment I was moving into, and this place fit the bill. Halfway between my new place and IKEA, it was like a dream come true! However, upon arrival my fantasy was washed away. The clerk reading Harry Potter behind the desk quickly called up my reservation — which was for the wrong kind of room. Upon noting that I had wanted two double beds(what with having 2 friends with me), he said that the website had probably switched me because they were out of those rooms. How nice that I was told this beforehand! After we figured that out(we got a rollaway bed, joy), the room and hotel themselves were, well, low-quality. Hence, my friends referred to the hotel as the Low Quality Inn. There is at least an IHOP right there, if you’re needing breakfast before a big day of moving/shopping. But that’s not really saying much for the hotel itself.
