I stayed here for five nights when I started a job in Frederick and my apartment situation fell through at the last minute. For the cheapest place in town(that I knew of), I was very impressed with this place. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, particularly the night clerk, who promised me a fridge and microwave after he found out I would likely be there a few days. Sure enough, when I returned from work the next afternoon there was a mini-fridge and microwave for me. The room was clean and comfortable and they cleaned every day. The breakfast consisted of coffee, donuts, toast, and cereal options. My only complaints would be that the freeway is pretty near and audible if the heat/fan is off, and the shower curtain had a little mildew. They also have free internet and a pet policy of $ 10/night, I believe.

We reserved a room on a Friday afternoon for that night as a way to break up a long drive. It’s pretty much what you’d expect for $ 53/night. The room was average size and relatively clean aside from the rather large bug crawling on the bed(see picture). That was enough to scare us away, so we went back to the office to request a refund. On the way, my boyfriend slipped and fell on the incredibly icy parking lot. There clearly had been no ice/snow maintenance whatsoever. The one good thing I can say is that they were pretty cooperative about refunding our money. For about $ 20 more we stayed at a nearby Comfort Inn which was MUCH nicer!
