I had a burrito and raspberry Danish. It was the best Danish I have ever had. Exile to place. Best bakery ever

Three stars only because they have NOCLUE how to make espresso drinks. Funny thing though, they boast about their Swiss made coffee machine. Clueless! If you’ve been spoilt by real coffee you’d be very disappointed. Pastries etc OK but nothing organic if you’re bothered by Roundup ready GMO wheat and low grade dairy products from animals kept in cages.

Tahoe House is awesome! Their sandwiches are great! This latest visit I had a turkey sandwich on ciabatta. All breads are baked in house! Very yummy. For desert, I took home a carrot cake. I guess I made a good choice, because everyone in the extended family could not wait for a slice! It did not disappoint. So happy to see and independent bakery/deli thrive. I’ll be back!

Great place to pick up a breakfast burrito or deli sandwich. The staff is very nice and helpful. The sandwiches are really good.

This place is legit. Their baked goods are fresh and scrumptious, coffee is delicious. We had the cinnamon roll and the largest, freshest English muffin I’ve ever seen. I topped that with cream cheese and I was in heaven. The cinnamon roll was great as well, soft and delicious! They had some refrigerated and dry food supplies, preserves, and Tahoe products to buy.

I got stuck in a snowstorm on my way home from SF, and wouldn’t you know it I found the best bagel I have ever eaten. This place is small and cute, the service was super friendly and the prices were cheap! I got a baked good, a coffee and an Asiago pesto bagel. TOTHISDAY, this bagel is the best I have ever had(if I could write a drake song about it, I would)…I have legitimately had dreams about this bagel since leaving Tahoe. I tell all my friends to stop there and can’t wait to swoop through again… even if it’s solely for this bagel. Thanks for fulfilling all my gluten filled cream cheese dreams!

Great coffee and the bagels are FANTASTIC! The pesto Asiago bagel is the best bagel I’ve ever had… Like that you get to toast them yourself.(No one ever toasts my bagel enough) So that’s a perk… On the other hand I’m taking a break from my dry and rather tasteless meat loaf sandwich… COLD meatloaf sandwich… to write this review. I’ve even added mustard and now all I taste is the mustard because nothing else on it has flavor. Still 4stars because this is the first time I’ve ever been dissatisfied here… bummer

Scone 4.5÷5, great execution. A proper American style scone. Chocolate croissant 4/5, much better than it looks. Lots of chocolate. Rum ball 3/5, no rum flavor. Not as much chocolate as it leads you to believe it has. Be back again for sure!

ABSOLUTELYFANTASTIC! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. The BEST coffee in Tahoe. The food is amazing and the staff is unbelievably awesome! Happen to mention my favorite Torani flavor to the owner and within 3 days they had it. THANKYOU!

A popular spot in Tahoe City. Frankly it looks better for its bakery than for Sandwiches. Uncommon Kitchen makes better sandwiches. Picks: Chicken Pot Pie($ 5.95) for individual portion. Cookies, pastries. Just OK: Turkey Sandwich was not as good as Uncommon Kitchen. Would not reorder: None Overall — Good Food — Good Décor — Good Service — Good Value — Very Good Would we come back — Maybe

The picky yet caffeine addicted part of me wanted to broadcast with exuberance«This place makes regular brewed coffee as if it was an espresso shot so your cup’o’joe is always the freshest!» Such an icing-on-the-cake business for pristine Lake Tahoe west side! I could have easily got 3 meals outta here and be super happy! Home-made right buttery croissants, I can spell it, I’ll have two! Microwave oven with symbols that indicate seconds needed to heat up their prepped food items, no brainer! Thoughtful provision of all kinds of milk, creamer, sugar, caps, napkin atop of a fairly large wooden counter makes my anticipation for that first sip of my fix just a tad more exciting! I know, I appreciate the little things. Having plenty tourist time on hand, browsing through the small store section adjacent to the main bakery ordering space is delightful. I enjoyed sitting in the nice outdoor patio while savoring the gourmet foods. As certain as I shall be back to Lake Tahoe, I’m coming back here!

Adorable place with all of your coffee, bakery, and lunch needs. Also a grab and go section, decent wine by the bottle, and gourmet goods like olive oils, jellies, etc. to take back to your vacation home. I wish I found this place sooner than the last 24 hours of my visit.

Instead of a wedding cake, we did a dessert bar from Tahoe House and it was delicious. I’m not a «dessert person» but I was blown away by how great it all tasted(and how affordable it was!). The Cannoli Cake, in particular, is AMAZING. We also ordered cookies, rice crispy treats, meringues, and the Chocolate Torte Cake. We worked with Barbara and she was extremely helpful and responsive. So glad we went this route & can’t recommend Tahoe House highly enough.

Our latte’s were perfect — nicely hot but not burnt with really great tasting espresso. But the gem of this place is the chocolate croissants — OHWOW. Huge, with the good chocolate in the middle, not the runny stuff and the good croissant dough — not too squishy but not crunchy either and then both ends were also DIPPED in chocolate. Yummy!

Great little store off the beaten path. I go to a German butcher and it was surprising to find so many of the same German/Swiss products. Cheeses, baked goods, deli, packaged goods, and caffeine. Got some pasta and pastries for the road. The workers are super fun and cheerful. Great mom and pop store with lots of cool products.

Quick breakfast, amazing coffee, and a wonderful little dining area for you to enjoy both! Tahoe House is starting to become my morning tradition before hitting the slopes. I usually like to order a breakfast sandwich and coffee for the morning and another sandwich for lunch on the mountain. The breakfast sandwich is already pre-made and you’re instructed to pop it into the microwave for a minute. At first, I was a bit skeptical about food that needed microwaving, but then discovered it’s merely just to warm it up. The croissant is soooooo flakey and soooo buttery, I would totally just eat it on its own. The sandwich itself(egg and some meat, your choice of bacon or sausage) is super filling and super delicious. The coffee. My god, the coffee. Actually, it’s not fair to call it coffee since it’s probably an Americano because it comes out of the espresso machine. But wow, this brew is the bomb! Smoooooooth and rich, absolutely no burnt taste whatsoever. I would come here for the coffee alone. The sandwiches are also really good! Unfortunately, my sandwiches are always smashed by the time I get to them after falling on my backpack, but they’re still tasty! Much cheaper than buying lunch on the mountain, that’s for sure.
