Tina’s Traveling Nails

Tiffany was our manicurist today, she was so awesome and accommodating. My mom was just diagnosed with cancer and is currently being hospitalized and Tiffany came to her hospital room and worked her magic. Beautiful shellac mani and a normal pedi, complete with massage and foot exfoliation & yummy smelling lotion. What a treat for my mom! Tiffany even got down and sat on the hospital floor to give my mom her beautiful pedicure. Wonderful experience, we are so grateful!

I have been to Tina’s nail salon at least 5 times and have loved every single time that I went and got my nails done from her! She is a very talented nail artist and is great at what she does. She is absolutely the sweetest and is very personable. I really love how she pays very close attention to detail and makes sure that all of her clients has the most fabulous nails in the city of Tacoma. She is simply amazing and I highly recommend her to everyone!

Tina is amazing!!! She is not only super talented, like Pinterest nail worthy, she is also a very sweet person. How many people do you know that volunteer to paint sick kids nails at the local hospital during their free time!!! My daughter adores her as «The Nail Fairy». Her sidekick Charm, the adorable pup, is also very cute and fun to snuggle with. Go see her, you will not be disappointed. :)

Tina is THE BEST! She is personable and fun and VERY talented. Whatever you ask for… she can do it. She is an artist and a true professional. I enjoy getting my nails done and they are done so well that I always get many compliments. Tina always free hands a variety of specialty design artwork for my daughter that is super amazing.

I accidentally stumbled upon Tina’s Traveling Nails while looking for a new place to get my nails done. I am so glad that I found this place because it is simply amazing! Tina is such a wonderful person. She is super nice and pays great detail in making your nails as perfect as can be. I have been to a few different nail salons but from now on, I will only go to Tina’s to get my nails done. Another thing that I like about Tina’s Traveling nails is the fact that sanitation and hygiene is number one to Tina! She even let me keep the nail file and buffer that she used on my nails! How cool is that? I definitely will be coming back soon.

WOW. I am so grateful that I found Tina! I had a bad experience at a «typical» nail salon which led me to searching for natural nail care around the area. Right away after I booked my appointment online, Tina followed up with a personal text message asking if I had any questions before my first visit. So sweet, genuine and helpful! I wasn’t 100% sold on a pedicure in a chair that wasn’t a big, cushy spa chair, but she does everything to make sure your experience is comfortable and relaxing, and boy does she do a great job! I had a fun time chatting with everyone in the salon and my feet look and feel fabulous! Can’t wait to go back and see what kind of fun designs she can do on my nails :)

Wow. Tina is amazing.
I rarely get a chance to take a solid hour to go to the nail salon and I’ve had experiences where they completely forget about you because it’s so incredibly busy.
Tina will come to you! She can come to your office and book 30 – 45 minute sessions for you and your co-​workers. Or come to your house. Crazy, right?
I chose to go to the salon she works out of. It’s a little hard to find the first time– you enter into an alley and it leads to a cute little courtyard. Up the stairs, and you find yourself in an adorable little retro hair/​nail studio.
Tina had a great selection of polish colors, she did flawless work, and she was about the sweetest, most down to earth person. Bonus: she got me in and out of there in 35 minutes. Double bonus: very reasonable prices.
Highly recommend and I’m already a loyal customer!!!

I’ve been going to Tina for a few months now and haven’t written a review yet because I’ve wanted to keep her to myself… But word is getting around that she’s the best nail tech in Tacoma, and her reputation is well deserved!
Tina works in a hair salon in downtown Tacoma, but she can also come to you. I’ve only been to the salon, but it’s great – when I’m there, it’s usually just me, her, and her adorable dog, so it’s very mellow (you don’t have to stress about a dozen other people chatting and getting their hair/​nails done at the same time, like other salons). She gives great manicures and pedicures, and she is particularly well-​known for her creative nail art. You can find many examples on Instagram. She even painted turkeys on my nails for Thanksgiving!
As other people have commented, Tina is a wonderful person to know – she’s friendly, energetic, positive, and caring. I especially admire that she volunteers as a «Nail Fairy» at the Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in her spare time.
You can see that Tina has a devoted fan base – give her a try & you’ll be impressed!
Tip: She does all her booking through StyleSeat, a website/​app for booking appointments. The app lets you see when she’s available, so it’s easy to find a time that works for you (I really appreciate her flexible weekend/​evening hours). It also sends reminders via e-​mail and text.

Best manicurist ever.
Tina has been doing my nails for 18 months and has done an amazing job. I often arrive armed with pictures or ideas and she executes ever single one flawlessly. Definitely one of the best out there for designs and great manicures.
Oh! And one more thing — Tina is a perfectionist, so if one nail or design doesn’t look right, trust that she will re-​do it until everything looks awesome.

Can’t say enough nice things about Tina! She’s a perfectionist & the most down to earth person I’ve been to for my nails. She takes her time and makes sure you’re happy with your nails.

I’ve been to Tina’s Traveling Nails twice and each experience was amazing. The color selection she has is huge and she has shellac glitter nail polish which I love; I always top my nails with a layer of glitter polish. Plus everywhere I go, I receive compliments about my nails from the color to the shape. People always think my nails are acrylic, but they’re the real deal thanks to Tina, genetics and vitamins.
I really enjoyed how Tina took the time to inform me on how to take better care of my nails. Tina also provided me tips on how to make my nails grow longer and stronger.
One would think that Tina’s prices would be high since she is a traveling licensed manicurist, but her prices are really affordable. I use to get my nails done only once a month at other nail salons, but I go twice because of the affordability and the service is great.

Tina has been doing my nails for well over a year now, and those are my hands you see in many of the photos she’s posted to Instagram and on her new brochures!
I followed Tina from her former «brick and mortar» salon, and I’m loving her new traveling service. I get gel (shellac) manicures about twice a month, although I can often go 3 weeks without a chip. I play string instruments, so being able to have a durable polish is absolutely required. Gel polish helps to protect my nails, while looking fabulous. Tina can do it all — French, solid, patterns, stripes, polka dots, kitty cats — you name it!

I’ve been getting my nails done by Tina in her previous salon for a long time. I am so excited that she is venturing out on her own now. She always does a great job and I can always trust her to come up with something when I ask for «something fun» for nail art (party nail, anyone?). Plus, since she doesn’t do acrylics, I don’t have to worry about those weird smells and the nasty acrylic dust.
Last time I was in, Tina did a strengthening treatment on my nails and they feel great. I’ll be going back soon for more!

Tina Is such a sweet person, she cares so much about her clients, she makes sure you are comfortable before starting, and takes her time to make sure she does EXACTLY what you want!
