Tandem

Tandem Gear has a new owner and she is working so hard to include things for more than just the Leather/​fetish community. Tandem Gear is the only store wear local TransMen can find and try on chest binders as well as her desire to have in store possible things for the TransWomen community. No longer being limited to shopping online but being able to walk into a store that is not only LGB friendly but Trans/​Queer friendly is a awesome feeling. To be treated with so much respect and consideration while you shop and try on the things that mentally and emotionally help you be «comfortable» is heaven sent. I am looking forward to watching her merchandise expand for the needs of the Trans community

Great selection and very helpful staff. A super cute guy works there too. This shop is perfect for finding that «special «gift or card when you need something a little bit more adult than the Hallmark Store. The staff is always very helpful and non-​judgemental.

I’m so happy I found this place. I got so tired of going to the city to find sexy underwear for me and my partner. They have a wide selection of items. I am king of clearance so of course I had to check that section out… Haha but overall I even found that their prices were cheaper then what I found in the city. I even found their selection of leather apparel to be great. (Of course you gotta love the toys :-)) the sale clerk was great and very informative. You must check this place out.

Tandem is a store that has leather goods, adult toys, clothes and other accessories for grown ups.
The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable! I bought a leather hat here and a pair of locally made Steampunk goggles here which rock! The leather hat was something I was looking for a VERY long time but many stores like Tandem I have been to either did not carry them or were the wrong size.
The Steampunk goggles I am madly in love with! As I said they were made locally, right here in Tacoma and have awesome attachments on the side. On one side were three «magnifying glasses» and on the other was a light attachment, all made lovingly in Steampunk fashion.
The lady that worked here I met on two occasions. She was so knowledgeable about all of the goings ons of various things in the metro area like a Steampunk event in Seattle and so forth! She is really a well of information which I appreciate very much!
Tandem may be a little bit more expensive than it’s competitors but I have seen merchandise here I do not often see and that more than makes up for the added expense!
