you get what you pay for the pricing is high but it’s a nice experience my wife likes to treat herself sometimes and gets a pricey haircut here once in a while this last time though they didn’t get her hair cut right we called them to have them fix it and haven’t been able to get a hold of anyone and we went there on a Sunday afternoon around 3 and they were already closed kind of frustrating

We have been coming here for a long time and have always had a great experience. The girls that work here are wonderful! Always do a great job with haircuts highly recommend

Came in because my dad loves the place so thought I’d give it a try. Never again $ 165 for the worst haircut and foils I have ever seen. When I wanted blended foils I really. just ended up with random chunks of blonde through the front, and the layers? She might as well just had taken the top section and chopped some length off and called it a day. If you absolutely must go to this salon don’t see Jeanette. I repeat AVOID Jeanette at all costs!

I had been going here for 3 years, many time which the hair stylist had been late for my appointment.
The other day I was late for my appointment by 10 minutes. I waited up front for another 12 minutes. A hair stylist kept saying someone would be right with me. Eventually some sloppy dressed teen came up and told me he had just cancelled my appointment 1 minute earlier, even though I had been waiting for 12 minutes. He suggested I was 22 minutes late, versus the 10 I was…
The day before a huge meeting they left me high and dry for being 10 minutes late, though I had dealt with them eating food when I had appointments and making pathetic conversation for 3 years.
I will never go back to this place, because of the spotty service before, the crappy treatment of my one late arrival, the sloppy dousche who had no concern for customer service and on and on…

Good service most of the time. Sometimes they try to hard to be friendly, to the point of being uncomfortable. I have only experienced this with one employee, I believe she means well and is just trying to do a good job and provide service. I had trouble in the past with them «losing» my appointments that has been resolved.
In short I would recommend giving it a shot.

Friendly people and a good haircut. Expensive but the staff is attentive and the place is clean. Worth checking out for sure.

Salon 6 (Tight Cuts) now serves beer! Instead of consistently providing good haircuts to drum up business through word of mouth, Salon 6 prefers adding another gimmick. I was a loyal customer for 3 years and finally gave up on the place. You are paying for the atmosphere, not the cut. I switched girls trying to give the place the benefit of the doubt, but the next one was worse. I had to return to get my hair fixed after a bad cut and she blamed the lighting, the mirrors, and the shape of my head. Everything but her lack of skills. I’ve had the same cut for years with no issues. Medium fade, taper the neck, trim the top with scissors. She did not know what ‘taper’ was. For all the guys that don’t get enough attention at home, maybe this is the place for you! If you are desperate for a beer, then enjoy one while you get a mediocre haircut.

amazing place on the corner of 6^th ave & Pearl

So I decided to give this place a try when my usual hairdresser wasn’t able to cut my hair. The atmosphere is geared toward a male clientelle for sure. There was Maxim and FHM magazines in the waiting room, along with a beverage supplied by the desk girl, which was nice. The service they do is awesome. But the haircut was definety sub-​par. I usually don’t mind paying $ 30 for a haircut, because I know I’m gonna leave looking/​feeling great. I left looking like I got a cut from Fantastic Sams. The girl claimed she had been doing hair for 4 years, but she cut way more than a half inch, which was what I had asked for. I guess it’s good that hair grows back! :/​Plus when I got home, I noticed there where areas that she had missed (like behind my ears) and even worse, she didn’t even fade the back of my head.
Overall, I guess what you pay for is the cute girls and the atmosphere, because the haircut itself is crap. I wouldve been better off letting my mom trim me up. Thumbs down!

I’ve been here three times now and I really want to like it but just feel kinda ‘eh’ about it. Obviously, its very cool in that they have flat screens tvs showing sports and lovely ladies in little black dresses cutting your hair. I’ve reccomended it to my guy friends for those reasons alone ha. They give a nice scalp and neck massage as part of the haircut. And they wash your hair also, which is different for most guys. The first time I went here I got a really nice haircut, but the other two times, I walked out of there not totally pleased. And when you’re paying over $ 30 for a cut, you’d better be happy. Also, the girls really push the products they are using. «I’m using American Crew conditioner here…» Just felt like a product placement. So, the pluses are good looking girls, sports, massage, free drink while you’re waiting. The minuses, kinda spendy, product placements, varying skill levels amongst the workers. I reccomend finding someone who does a good job and stick with them.
