The ladies (Kim and Asst Manager) went out of their way to try to find the «perfect» dining room chair for us last night! They spent nearly 45 minutes bringing chairs down from the ceiling, looking up dimensions on the computer and even calling other stores for us. We were very impressed by the superior customer service at this place, and will definitely return! Thank you!

After receiving a papasan chair as a gift, it immediately began to break inside the bowl. I attempted to fix it with wood glue and tape but other pieces began to break.
6 months after receiving the chair, I went in with no receipt (but the original card that was used to pay for it) and high hopes they would at least exchange it for the same kind.
Sales staff said the manager would need to clear it the following day because they were gone for the day,… no I just lugged it in can you call the manager.
Finally the manager was contacted who said to contact Corporate. After about 15 minutes on the phone w Corporate they said do an even exchange.
We reached a resolution and I left with a newer Bowl.
Long story short, over priced product with what appears to be very limited to nonexistent Quality control. Too much headache for me to shop here ever again.

I heart Pier 1.
I ran to this location as I’m buying some wedding favors for guests and needed about 12 of one item.
After hitting a snag at a location closer to my house, I was told Tacoma would have 17 of each style I needed.
The gal who was working the store was very nice and able to help me find what I needed.
The staff was friendly & the store had better product than the Scenter store did.
Would easily return again. They have such cute décor & candles & gift-​able items during holiday season.
