McDonald’s

We ordered the mic pick 2 & when we got our fries out we seen long pieces of hair in them… I’m not understanding how they didn’t see the hair when they bagged up the food… seeing how I work at McDonald’s…I know for a fact they have to put their hair in a bun… when I seen the lady in the fries she had her hair in a ponytail down her back… I will never come back to this mcdonalds again… so disgusting !!! Y’all should be ashamed

I love this place. Food is fresh and delicious. Staff works very hard. I go here a lot.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! The service is horrible!!! Everything is always down! The ice cream machine is down and they also couldn’t take card because their machines are down!!!

They got great service and food as well wifi but capped at slow.speeds. have to log in almost every hour and they r boot hungry they kick people out every hour from their purchases.

I’ve been to this place several times. They have never messed up my order, it’s always been fast, and friendly. I’ve seen how well they’ve handled hard to deal with people. They all seem to work well together. I will go out of my way to go to this location!

I agree, some of the people in the lot can be a bit scary but this is downtown and it’s often what we expect in any busy downtown area. I really like this new building better than the last ones.
It’s McDonald’s, so there isn’t a lot to say about it that differs from any other one but I have noticed the employees here are not nearly as friendly as most other McDonald’s restaurants.
One tidbit of historic information I found out is that THIS location was the FIRST one in Tacoma, originally built in 1963. The second one was the one at 72^nd & Pacific, which was built in 1965.

This McD’s is a block away and in a pinch I eat here form time to time. Usually when I’m on the run to work and only have a few minutes to eat while driving. The drive through is always lightening fast. I’ve yet to have my order incorrect. The food is consistent with my other McDonald experiences.
Only downside is the location, right across the street from the Pierce County Courthouse and being downtown as well there are always sketchy people hanging around. I suggest you roll up your window once you get your food and keep your doors locked. I’ve never been messed with, but best to stay safe, especially the ladies out there!

Best McDonald’s Ever. Christian and I have come here for coffee and/​or a sandwich at least once a week for the last 10 plus years. We were just saying that we have no recent memory of them ever screwing up our order. In addition, the staff there is friendly and I have never seen any of the staff members get the slightest bit nonplussed by some of the more interesting customers.
It’s great to see some of the same staff members there week after week, month after month. I am hoping this means they are treated well by the owners and management.

If you’re downtown and need an Egg McMuffin fix, this is it. Otherwise don’t bother.
As the other reviewers mentioned, there are always some sketchy folks hanging about here– and besides that, its McDonalds. There are much better options nearby.

So, you know those places that you go to where you go only needing a few things but always walk out with more than you needed? Well this McDonalds is a lot like that. Each time I am here I have to turn down a pimp, a drug dealer, a crackhead, and someone trying to sell a «legitimate» cell phone or face plate to a car stereo. This is a favorite watering hole for pimps to feed their «employees» I know, its not fancy, but how does the song go? «it’s hard out here for a pimp»
But seriously, leave me alone people I just want to get to my fries before they get cold. If you do not feel you can handle the swings of a McDonalds in Tacompton right next to the court house and Tacoma jails, than you may want to only do drive thru or go elsewhere.
What else is there to say about this McDonalds? It gets the bump from 3 stars because of the diverse cultural experience, but I never find myself in a situation where I am in desperate need of a double cheeseburger and some black tar heroin. Have no fear, if you love McDonalds I have found that there are no other participating locations where you can get such service.
If you have people from out of town that you want to take to dinner and a show just eat in the lobby, within 10 minutes I guarantee you will see something very «Tacoma-​ish» Did I mention they have decent fast food?
