Lynn’s Nails

I mad an appointment because I had a tight schedule and I waited 20 minutes before just having to leave.

Love it here.
I’m tan and have been wanting to do a nudish but have been nervous to go for it .
You’ll understand if your tan it can looks dirty, or washed out.
I decided to go for it (a fill is only $ 15) what do I got to loose. Lynn picked it out and I LOVE IT
She was so fast and precise!
I went to Lynn because they were the only place open on New Year’s Day
I LOVE THEM
& my customers at work complement them so much.
I made the mistake of going to some place in Lakewood before here and the lady was so rude and I left so unhappy.
Lynn fixed my nails into the shape I wanted (coffin) and didn’t charge me extra.

I came here about six months ago, and I will honestly say this is one of the best pedis I’ve ever had. I get a callous right in the middle of each the balls of my feet as a result of some pressure point/​the way that my weight is distributed when i walk. She (Lynn??? older lady who does the pedis) gets those things OFF! She leaves it completely smooth, and its so relieving. It’s almost like they’ve never been there. No other nail salon has been able to do that for me. Maybe once a long time ago, when all nail salons used the scrapers vs the cheese graters. I actually live in Renton, and I’m never in Tacoma, but I always try to find an excuse to go back. She makes sure you leave w/​your feet being as smooth as when you came out the womb.
I’m hoping to make my way back there this weekend, and I really hope I get the same service. I saw another reviewer say it was dirty and I disagree. It just looks a little old to me… certain things look a little dusty, but nothing makes me feel like I’d get an infection or anything of the sort. They could def get some newer pedi chairs. That’s my only «negative». But the quality of the pedi far outweighs that. The parking arrangement could also be way better. There’s only like three/​four spots… unless there’s more parking I didn’t see. Luckily it was pretty slow when I came in, so I had no problem finding a spot.

I have had my nails done for 15 years now and this is definitely one of the best places to go. Lynn pays attention to detail and takes her time. My nails look the best they have looked in a long time. I thought my other salon was fine until I stopped in here one day and had them done. What a difference. Highly recommend this place. (Lynn doesn’t smile much but that might just mean she is a serious personality type.)

This is my go place for having getting my beauty maintenance done. I’ve been coming here for years. I get my eyebrows, upper lip, hands and feet done here. The main nail technician always knows how l like to have my nails done and does a great job on my eyebrows! I love coming here for maintaining my girly-​ness. The staff is friendly! They welcome walk-​ins. Very cozy atmosphere. I would suggest anyone to come in and try this place out for some «Me» time :)

The young man who works there is pleasant enough. His sister on the other hand is rude and not personable at all. Maybe if she got off of her phone, but I doubt that would happen.

This place is crap. There’s not very many chairs. It’s not very clean. They don’t do your nails how you ask. I asked for them to tip my toes and they just painted the whole thing. They don’t even bother filing it down after they cut it. So it’s still uneven. There was a chunk of cotton on my nails after they wiped it with a cotton ball and they didn’t even take it off and just painted over it. So when I removed the cotton ball it took off some of the nail polish. They don’t communicate with you at all. When they need you to turn you feet, lift it, or move it. They just tap your feet and expect you to know what they want you to do. I will not return. I’m usually a good tipping customer but for this place I will not tip at all. I didn’t even get what I asked for so therefore they will not get anything else from me.

convenient location however parking can be difficult as there are only a few parking spaces available. Had the spa pedi, however Lynn’s mom did not speak any English… i thought «ouch!!» was universal but i guess not. Water was way too hot and mom seemed not to notice; the cute little girl that is a family member understood though, and added some cold water to cool it down. The pedi was absolutely painful, however with my ouching and jerking my foot away mom still didn’t get it. also, as mentioned in the other review mom slaps your leg when she needs you need to move your foot. she was extremely rough and i ended up with thin red horizontal lines under the nail bed from bleeding. unless you like pain and don’t mind paying for it, do not come here.

Easy to walk in and get a mani or pedi. Typically, I just get the pedicure… I don’t do the «crytal gel». (check out nail salon on u tube… very funny and so true!)
This place is family run which I think holds true for most nail salons. I believe it is Lynn’s mom that does the spa pedicure. I must say there is nothing better than when she slaps your leg to have you move it! Maybe a little rough, but tolerable.
All in all, a great place to go.
