Forget those big box store chains and walk away from Wal-Mart too because if you’re a smart person to begin with, you wouldn’t shop there anyway. I don’t care where you live, go out and find your neighborhood pharmacy! Lincoln Pharmacy has been around since before I was born and they have proven time and time again that they deserve to be your one and only pharmacy destination in all of Pierce county and Federal Way. To begin, they stock nearly every medication known to man so when you need a script filled, they will have it on hand. Secondly, they will fill almost any script for you while you wait just 15 minutes!!! Not that standard hour like Wallgreens or Rite Aid. I have no idea why those places make you wait so long when I’ve stood there and watched them work and they could get you in and out but hey, that’s why I go to Lincoln. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They remember your face and call you by name and the pharmacist is probably the most well educated one in all of Washington state. They are up to date on all technology and your doctor can call in, email in, or fax over any prescription that you need filled and you don’t even have to make a special trip in or wait around to pick up your script because they deliver it right to your front door!(Make sure to tip the driver even though they will try to say it’s not necessary). They even deliver to my apartment all the way in Federal Way! The last thing I want to mention is their prices. You might think that all pharmacies charge the same amount for the medications you need but this is not true. My wife needed a script and we called one of those other box stores for a quote. Their price was $ 92.00 so we called Lincoln like we should have done in the first place. !!$ 18.00! was all they charged for the exact same prescription and we’ve had times when they have been able to supplement our scripts with generic brands to save us even more money. Something those other stores don’t want to do for you so if you live in Tacoma, Federal Way or surrounding areas, make Lincoln your one and only pharmacy. You’ll be really glad you did and if you don’t live near Lincoln, like I said above, search out your local neighborhood pharmacy. I’m sure that you will be much happier with their service than what you currently get at the big commercialized places. Thanks for reading.
