Compared to the original owners, this is an embarrassment. While the burger patty on the Smitty($ 5.75) was of good size, the addition of cheese and bacon drove the price way beyond reason. The fries, sold separately, was beyond embarrassing. Perhaps a «small» handfull. Fries were not crisp, but limp and tasted of old grease. The potean was a joke! If you plan on dining in, bring alot of jackets and layer, as this place was like walking into a freezer. If they are still in business, I may try it again in the future.

New ownership, and what a nice improvement. Burgers and chicken sandwiches are your choices, with pop and shakes to drink. We had the«breakfast» and the fairground”. Both 1⁄3 lb. burgers were juicy and flavorful and good size. Crinkle fries were good and nice amount. $ 17.00 for two adults, and we left very satisfied. Friendly and prompt service. We’ll return and look forward to seeing this place grow.

We stopped in for a quick lunch and the guys working were polite and very accommodating. We really liked the food and thought it was an improvement in the taste. They used real meat and priced their burgers better than McDonald’s. They were quick. Plus added bonus the hot accents from the gentlemen just added to the friendly atmosphere. We will eat there again.

Newly reopened under new owners. Smitty is back! Well, in a way… The new Smitty burger is on the small side but has great flavor. Fries are just like the original Jubilee. Both were hot and delicious. I will write a follow up review later. For now, he burger could be bigger… EDIT: I finished my hamburger, fries, and soda. Here are my final thoughts: I walked away wondering if there was a connection between Jubilee and Luckys on Pacific Avenue. The flavor of the Smitty sauce is eerily similar to the Sauce on Lucky’s Smitty burgers. In addition the burgers at both places are on the small side. I don’t know if there is any connection between Jubilee and Lucky’s, I’m just curious. If they want a good example of a Smitty burger, I would suggest the owners check out Don’s in Puyallup and then move up half a size from there and add pickles!!! That being said, the flavor of the hamburger was very good. It came to my table hot and well presented. The french fries were very good and hot as well. The gentleman who served me and took my order had a Northern accent which gave the place some appeal and a friendly atmosphere. The building itself was cold and could have been a bit warmer. The hamburger selection leans towards the gourmet side. The Elvis Burger and the CCJ are on my to do list so I will most certainly be back.
