Such a cute and cozy salon with super personable hair stylists. Lindsay cut my hair and did a balayage and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She listened to my wants, needs, and concerns and worked with me to address them for the best possible results and care! I will definitely be back and plan on making Lindsay my girl for all my hair needs. :)

Crystal was great. She did exactly what I asked for!
I normally cannot get people to cut my hair exactly how I want but crystal did EXACTLY as I asked. Her trim was great. My coloring full foil came out amazing and I was very satisfied w the results!

It is easy to forget a luxury a luxury you have become accustomed to and such is the case with my experience in being Kim’s client. She has been doing my hair for years and never fails to impress. I constantly get rave reviews about my color and today when I got complimented in the Starbucks drive through it was another reminder of how lucky I am to have her as my stylist. She never fails to deliver the look I envision but that I don’t have the words to describe. Kim is the most professional stylist and always goes out of her way to make you happy while allowing you to stick to your budget. For all of these reasons I recommend her 100%. I have sent dozens of friends and family members to her and have always gotten a thank you for the recommendation. Everyone I have sent her has said they will never see another hairdresser and that they were so happy to have found someone who could style their hair better than they imagined. So, although I sometimes forget how lucky I am to have her as my stylist, it is only because I am so satisfied and never even think of going to anyone else. To anyone considering Chroma, schedule your appointment with Kim and you will be highly impressed.

Michelle gave me the best spray tan! I have fair skin and this Washington weather doesn’t help me. So when I have a event coming up I come here for a nice glow. She goes very light for me which I love it! I keep glowing skin all week long and when it fades, it fades lightly so I dont have 5 different colors! I will definitely be back for fun and for my functions in the near future! Thank you again Michelle!

Today I had my first appointment with Kimberly at Chroma and left BEYOND satisfied because I left with the best hair cut and color I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I bid on a gift certificate for Kimberly to cut and color my hair at a local charity auction last month so I knew she must be generous to donate her services– but was she going to be good? LOL I have had the same haircut for about 10 years so I was nervous and excited to go to someone different. Today I am SO HAPPY I did and will absolutely be her loyal client from this day forward!!! :) Thank you, Kimberly for being amazing AND for supporting local charities!!!

I had never been to a salon ever. So I was a bit nervous as to what to expect. I wanted the ‘balayage’ highlights technic done to my hair and I found out about this salon through Unilocal so I decided to give it a try.
I first called in to schedule a consultation so the stylist could see my hair and get a feel for it since I am African-​American/​Samoan mix, so I know my hair type is not typically common.
I was set up with a stylist named Kimberly and right off the bat she was super sweet and professional. She had confidence in knowing she could get the job done with what I wanted and I appreciated that very much.
The day of the appointment, I walk in and was offered a beverage by I believe the salon owner possibly, and I thought that was very nice of her. Also she would periodically check in on me and Kimberly, making sure everything was going comfortable for me and I appreciated that as well!
Kimberly was AMAZING!!! She literally took the picture I had in my head out and turned it into reality for what I envisioned for my hair! I wanted the balayage highlights technic because I just love the way it looks. I am absolutely pleased with the results and also very pleasantly impressed that she was able to handle all my hair lol! And during my salon trip, we made great conversation as well, she’s funny and shared some game apps with me that I am currently playing with on my phone today lol! She styled/​straightened my hair and was very professional and nice. I would recommend her 1000%!!! Oh yeah, and my husband LOVED my new look when I picked him up from work that afternoon lol! ;-) THANKS KIM!

I got a «balayage» done here a month or so ago and I was pretty bummed with the outcome. I told her that I didn’t want the top color any darker than my natural hair color (which is an ashy light brown) and it was WAY darker than it should have been. I wanted the bottom color to be blonde but it was just an orangeish light brown and she did an ombré when I wanted a balayage. I had a Groupon for $ 40 or $ 50 off and it was still around $ 140 =(
She was friendly and had been a hair stylist for a long time but the colors just weren’t right. I guess my search continues.

I love Terry at Chroma! I have been looking for a new hairdresser for 9 years to replace the one I went to for 15 years in NY. I finally found a replacement, and I may even like her better! Terry is amazing at what she does. She has given me some of my most favorite cuts and colors EVER! She talks it through with me until we are positive we are on the same page. And then she delivers! She styles my hair the way I would (so there’s none of that rushing home to get my fingers in it and readjust it to my liking that I’ve done with other places). And my style and color turn out even better than the pictures I show her. Terry is fun and kind and super easy to talk to. My hours in the chair fly by and I feel like I’ve known her for years. Her prices are amazingly reasonable and I trusted her to do my son’s very first haircut. And we loved it! She’s got a new customer for life with me. :)

I’ve been getting my haircut by Jackie for about six years now. Way back before she had her own salon. She is great and so is Terry for guys haircuts. Friendly people who do a great job for you and are very accommodating. Nice salon space and I think you can even get a spray tan there.

Fabulous customer service. I was offered a drink immediately upon walking through the doors. All the stylists were friendly and knowledgable. I did think however that the cuts are over priced. I had a regular cut and layer, nothing fancy, and it cost me $ 35. But the service and experience may be included in the price.

Chroma saved the day on a bridal party emergency! The week before the wedding we needed to find a new hair stylist as the previous one was really unprofessional and we weren’t sure she was going to show up. Jackie jumped into action and set us up with Kim, who was really knowledgable and professional. Kim did a fabulous job on the bridal party’s hair– we got compliments all night. Thank you SO much to Kim and Jackie for doing such a wonderful job!

Have had several great cuts by Lindsay here! Super professional, and nice clean salon. Good location near my office. Will be back for sure.

I had a livingsocial deal for this place — after reading all the great reviews I felt confident that I’d get a good haircut. I saw a gal named ‘Sue’, and while she spent a good amount of time on my hair, it’s the worst haircut I’ve had in years. First of all, when she was washing my hair somehow she got the entire back of my shirt wet. That alone is forgivable, if that was the only issue.
I wanted a basic bob, but she didn’t make my hair even in the back. I also asked for my hair to be layered, but she couldn’t figure out what to do with the hair closest to my head in the back (normally that should be cut shorter than the hair on the outside)… So when I got home I had to have my husband (who is not a hairdresser) fix my hair in the back. I’m going to have to have him redo my hair, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place (having him give me a haircut), but my hair still needs a lot of fixing.

I got a great cut from Lindsay today! Can’t wait to show it off!

The service and skilled expertise is unrivaled! I have referred countless friends, and we all keep coming back… the atmosphere is comfortable and professional. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend!

This Salon is excellent. Very friendly and Jackie does a great job managing her crew. The salon is clean and has such a wonderful feel. I have had a couple different stylist do my hair and I have no complaints.

My first appointment with Michelle was before going on vacation to Miami over Memorial Day weekend. She did an amazing job, my tan lasted the whole trip and faded evenly. I have now been in a second time and again have gotten great results. She is flexible with appointments and follows up on calls promptly.
