The folks here are super nice and the food is good. You can customize sandwich options or they are delicious the way they are prepared. It’s fast and friendly food in good portions. The smoothies are delicious. I love the mango and butternut squash smoothie. Sounds weird but try it, it’s great.

Food is always fresh and the portions are very generous for the price! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The Caprese sandwich is my favorite! Get some peanut butter oreo espresso homemade ice cream for dessert. :)

They make a pretty good sandwich! I have been twice, and both times the sandwiches were made with a generous amount of meat (favorite was the Reuben!) Great soup specials and highly recommend the carrot cake!

The food is really good but the kids working behind the counter have no clue. They have no system and don’t seem to have received any kind of training on how to efficiently serve customers. Or if they have received any training they don’t apply it. No one knows what anyone else is doing.

Broadway Café has excellent speciality salads at a reasonable price and great wraps sandwiches. They have a «Two for Tuesday» special where you get a second salad, wrap or sandwich of the same size for only $ 1.95. They offer whole or half portions on their salads and sandwiches, and both are generous portions. The connected ice cream shop, Arctic Island, has very good ice cream and very unique «Flavor of the Day» choices (e.g. Lavender ice cream). You can order the ice cream in the Café (around back) or from the traditional ice cream window in the front. Service is friendly and efficient.

Arctic Island ties with Gannon’s for the best ice cream in Syracuse. Arctic has homemade ice cream sourced from quality ingredients, in addition to sorbet, milkshakes and soft serve. There are new flavors throughout the summer, with classics returning each year (like Panda Paws). Try the watermelon sherbet (with flecks of dark chocolate) for an icy, refreshing sweet treat on a hot and humid day. The turtle sundae is always divine. Prices are cheap and portions are big. Add the peanut butter sauce to anything. There is shaded seating outside or enjoy the AC in the Broadway Café around the corner (same owners). Parking is easy on side lot off of Seneca Turnpike.

I love the broadway café. Homemade ice cream makes me smile. And they even serve it when it’s snowing outside. Good sandwiches, good desserts. Decent coffee.
I really keep coming for the service. The people that work here are friendly and down to earth. It’s a small place, so they get to know the regular customers.
