Penny’s

This place is extremely clean and well-​kept. It is definitely not a ‘destination restaurant’. The food
is carted in from the suburbs for re-​heating (a la Starbucks food). The place unfortunately, has a
feeling of ‘State control’. There is a 3 beer maximum no matter how long you are there. Now I can
barely finish one beer, I just don’t like the feeling of being told how many I am «allowed» to have.
The video poker machines are like the i-​pass tollway system. That is, the State makes you feel good
about how conveniently they take money from you. Finally, Don’t expect to win anything here, not gonna
happen. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because the employees are awesome. I won’t be returning
anytime soon. Sorry.
