One Horse Pizzeria & Saloon

This is a good choice if you particularly like beer and pizza. The beer selection is very good, the pizza is just «good», but it’s better than some of the pizza places around. There are not a whole lot of seats, it’s a small quiet place with quaint Old West decorations and a big screen TV.

Looks appealing as your driving by — place was clean, quaint and quiet which was great! Service was good– definitely not terrible. Food was ok — edible– but not wonderful… Now here’s where it gets sour for me, upon walking in there was a guy posted up outside with a cardboard sign at the corner of their lot. He came in often sat ordered sodas frequented the bathroom several times walked around kind of out of it. Seemed like a «regular». Not really the ambience your looking for when on a family outing or date. Totally killed the vibe. Very bad for business. Probably won’t be back.

The pizza and wings were actually excellent. But the service was terrible, it took 40 minutes for the appetizer to come out. The waitress didn’t bring napkins or silverware and the order came out wrong. There were only two tables including ours at the restaurant at the time. The pizza came out five minutes later. Would consider ordering takeout if we lived closer but would have to think about going again.

Not bad, not great… We ordered a large cheese pizza, Greek Salad, buffalo wings and a steak and cheese grinder for my husband and I and our two young girls. I can’t say that anything was «bad», but defiantly have had better for the same price. I will say the waiter was very good and friendly, the restaurant was cute and clean and the beer selection was outstanding! The pizza was ok, could have been better if the sauce had more flavor. The steak and cheese grinder was small for the price and too «peppery», but edible. We ordered Buffalo Wings and received Buffalo Tenders; they were actually pretty tasty, but not what we ordered. And, the Greek Salad was very good, fresh, with the right amount of feta and real kalamata olives. If we were «passing by» and my girls were asking for pizza, I would eat there again. But, not my first choice of pizzerias.

Worst place I’ve been in a while. And I got takeout so that should tell you how welcoming it was inside. I’m glad I didn’t eat there but I was pretty pissed that I paid $ 21 for such a terrible pizza. Such an outrageous price for a medium anywhere else. I felt like I was walking into a drug dealers house when I walked into the place. Super weird place. I would never ever go back there even if that was the last pizza place on earth!

Good food and service. Love the canadien cowboy theme. They make awesome salads and their pizza’s are really good too.

I thought the pizza was decent. I’ve for sure had better. For those wondering my measuring stick for pizza in RI and southeast mass is Crazy Dough in Newport Via Via also in NPT, Pizza amore in east providence is excellent. Last hidden gems are antonios pizza along route 6 Seekonk and also a place for great grinders nicks pizza just near swansea mall. My initial take on this was basically my buddy and I got it with a Groupon. We paid about 15 plus for the Groupon and 6 bucks for soda pop drinks. We ordered chicken tenders and the sitting bull meat lovers large. I will say they do make good sauce but some of their choices like the crust tasted really pre made and processed as did the toppings. The sauce saved the pie for me. The crush was a bit doughy for my liking and had that frozen crunch I don’t like. It was a step above frozen but not head and shoulders above. It’s a good place to go for a cheap meal on a Groupon. Friendly staff. I will say for me personally the décor doesn’t fit the surrounding area. It’s quaint but feels like it would do better in new Hampshire than mass. I wasn’t overly keen on seeing the bartender watching the game either on a alow night. That’s just me. It makes me wonder who is tending to the kitchen. Gives off a slacker vibe to a place that has a ton of character but needs it’s menu to catch up with its potential.

Overpriced pizza. Check your bill we were charged $ 5 more for a thin crust on a pizza that we didn’t order that way which brought the pizza to $ 23.99! They did take the $ 5 off the bill but the pizza was just ok and the bill was $ 58! Wow! I did have an expired groupon which took $ 15 off the bill but I still paid $ 55 with the tip. Not impressed at all. Too bad. Used to be good. This place was dead and it won’t last. Don’t bother.

Pizza is excellent! The sauce has a great taste and then the cheese and toppings, yum! Their pizza is a little thicker then others, but still is very delicious. Their delivery service is fast. I live about 10 minutes away and it took about 30 minutes from ordering to eating. I love this place! Would definitely recommend.

Same place… new owner. The new owner worked for the previous owner. Had the Blazing Saddle Pizza… it was delicious. Don’t let the name fool you. The spice did not overpower the pizza flavor. Local joints like this beat the heck out of the national chains… Would go again.

Went here for lunch for the first time and it was awesome… so decided to try something else and had it delivered. and it was COLD! Had to warm it up in the microwave.

If you own a restaurant and offer delivery maybe you shouldn’t be out plowing with nobody to cook or deliver food? Leaving the new girl to tell customers it might be 35 minutes then calling back after 35 minutes to say the cook isn’t back yet he’s still plowing is a strange way to run a business.

I went here for lunch on a Friday after using a Groupon coupon and it was a pretty good deal. The place is very small and at the time we were the only people in the restaurant so we had exceptional service. We ordered the BBQ chicken and it was good. I would eat here again with a coupon, but I’m not sure if I would go again if I was looking for great pizza.

The pulled pork sandwich wrapped in garlic bread is OMG. Let me start with that.
The pizza is good too, we got a small cheese but there are TONS of cool specialty pizzas like steak & cheese, etc. that I’d try next time.
The appetizer platter was average fried food fare, but hey, it’s a saloon!

I was recommended here by the hotel staff. I enjoy eating locally when I travel and this place didn’t let me down. Their calzone was fantastic and they dont shy away from the portions so bring your appetite! Definitely stopping by here again on my next visit.

I have stopped by this restaurant a couple of times. The sandwiches are the best around the area and although I haven’t had a pizza yet the ones I have seen look & smell delish! The restaurant & what I can see of the kitchen are pristine clean. It’s family run and the service is excellent. It’s also a plus to be able to order dinner to go & have a good micro-​brew while waiting.

I wouldn’t call this a dive, and the pizza is great. They will even make up a pizza or sandwich if it’s not on the menu. The place is family-​owned, the owner and his dad are there quite often and they plan to expand. I will go back as often as I can! Keep up the great work guys. (My only suggestion would be too flavor up the sauce a bit, or put some italian herb spice-​grinders on the tables so customers can add their own.)

I’ve only been here once, but it was a pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the pizza was good. The bottled beer selection is fantastic and the prices are good. I will definitely make my way in there again!
