My husband, son and I had the BEST experience at this restaurant. We planned a surprise 18th Birthday party for my son and everyone from the two managers: John and Nancy to the servers were totally professional, helpful, kind and made a really special event turn into something spectacular!!! The appetizers: chicken fingers, cheese sticks, and nachos were really delicious and the pizzas were super yummy! Thank you, thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you for making sure we were happy and well taken care of!!! Thank you!!! We are totally coming back again and again.

I am never blown away by this place. Food is always average, service is always meteocre, and prices depend on what you order. I had a 6 oz(i believe) fillet steak, and it was good. I had quesadillas and they were terrible. This is what ive heard from everyone who i talk to– its ok. Great setting for families. The lounge area is nice

Just picked up two deep dish pizzas with extra cheese one pepperoni i have two say i probably could have gotten better frozen microwave pizzas. there was barely any sauce and what normally has chunks of tomato there was barely any of those. we started going there after revere went down hill i have to say i won’t be back here anytime soon.

My boyfriend and I went to Uno’s yesterday afternoon for a beer and some pizza and we had an outstanding experience. When we sat at the bar we were greeted by a very nice bartender, Mary. She was quick to learn our names and to introduce herself. The beer prices are pretty good and they offer local craft beers. We ordered the Número Uno to share and it was just as good as I remembered as I haven’t been to an Uno’s in over 10 years. We told Mary that we would be moving to Swampscott in 3 weeks and we were checking out places to watch football in the fall. There are plenty of TV’s so we believe this place will work. :-) Before we left Mary asked the manager, Nancy, to visit us. Nancy gave us a goodie bag with cookies and a ten dollar off coupon for our next visit. She gave us some insight on our new neighborhood and was very pleasant. I usually prefer going to local places and avoiding chains, but this wonderful experience reminded me that local people work at these chains and that you can still go to them while supporting your community.

Appetizers at this location should be avoided. Beef Chili(from Gluten Free section) was more like bean chili with barely any actual beef. Also, despite me coming in when the restaurant had just opened, chili was barely warm. Turns out they get it from corporate,(confirmed) and then re-heat it. Otherwise, it was a good lukewarm bean chili. Bruschetta was weak. Bread was fine, but the tomatoes were flavorless, unseasoned since the balsamic glaze and cheese were also flavorless. The only flavor came from the bread and jalapenos I had left from chili. Appetizers: –1 star —- Pizza is this locations redeemer. Flatbread and deep-dish were both great. Flatbread was a lovely combination of ingredients on a nearly paper thin crust. Everything was cooked through, and not burnt. Also it was a very generous size considering it was a half-flatbread… I wonder how big a full flatbread would have bee.(likely twice as big: D) Deep Dish was the Numero Uno®. Also, a very nice dish. I liked how the crust was still almost as thin as on a flatbread, but there was just many more ingredients on it, as more fits in a deep dish. Still, while nice, I have had better pizzas elsewhere. Better through better ingredients and combinations of such.(Also cheaper) Pizza: –1 star —- Service was attentive, polite, and professional. Ziosk system is great for tech lovers, but you still need a server, and the system sometimes malfunctions(didn’t print receipt). Technology…

I’ve been here a couple of times and it isn’t bad. I’ve been to other Uno’s before and I’ve always been happy with them. Nothing mind blowing but nothing awful. I will provide a tip though that they should probably work on perfecting their Gluten Free crusts a little more before serving them. I don’t want to be one of ‘those’ people but mine was still really doughy and actually stuck to my teeth. Maybe I just came on a bad night. The sauce, cheese, and veggies were delicious those so I just scraped those off and skipped the crust. Other than that, I have no complaints. The atmosphere is fun, the service is always friendly and prompt, and the food is tasty.

Food is good… service is good… delivery is very good. But the salmon portion seems to be getting smaller and smaller…

I had a horrible experience here. The chicken on my salad was just barely cooked and cold. My waiter brought me TWO different glasses of water, both with shit floating in them. Let alone the women at the bar who were belligerent and being extremely loud. I will not return to this location or any others since I’ve had bad experiences at other locations. What a shame.

The personal Pizza here was delicious but the size of it for around $ 13 left me still a bit hungry and unsatisfied.

Typically I come here frequently with friends late at night for their snack hour, or to grab an app and a drink. Typically its okay. I have had a few orders messed up before, but it’s fixed and its a chain restaurant so theres only so much you can expect from a place like this. Service is usually great. On October 31st they were offering a promotion of 50% off takeout. My family and I had looked online and decided what we had wanted to order. I tried calling multiple times and was met with a consistent busy signal, I thought it was odd but just assumed they were busy. So, then I went to order the food online. The site said they were experiencing difficulties and to call the order in. Which, was impossible because the phone was off the hook. Since Swampscott is small my friend and I went to go place our order in the restaurant and then we would go back and pick it up. When we got there, there was a line at the door. All the customers were yelling at one another about who was cutting lines, etc. When we walked in we asked if it was the line to order take out or to be seated. The host told us it was the line for take out. We waited for about 15 minutes and we were told by another customer that it was going to be over an hour just to order the food. While I held our place in line my friend went to the host and asked how long it was going to be just to order the food. We were told it would be at least an hour, and they weren’t even entirely sure if that was an accurate estimate. Why would they not tell customers when they came in how long the wait would be? Not only were they incredibly not prepared for the event, but they lost several orders and a lot of customers. We called in our order to Captain’s pizza and it was ready within 35 minutes(and captain’s was slamming)! It was pretty frustrating, and definitely deterred me from going there again.

The real shame here is this started out as a great place. Used to be the best burger in town. Steady decline has made this the worst burger and the worst service. The wait is just insane, always a solid hour for food. Last time we had to send our burgers back three times and they were not special orders. Got home and got sick. Won’t be going back.

Came here with friends on Saturday, around 8:30pm. There were about 15 people total in the restaurant. It took about 15 – 20 minutes for the waitress just to come over and get our drink orders. Drinks arrived another 10 – 15 minutes after that. Waited another 30 – 35 minutes for our burgers. Food was mediocre at best… We saw one guy that sat at a bar, complain to a manager and walk out from the place after waiting over 45 minutes for an order of chicken wings. It seems that employees here don’t care much about their jobs, because they were chatting and laughing instead of working. Another thing that was disgusting is our waitress lifted the top of the bun with her bare hands to check which burger was which… Not going back here any time soon.

I’ll start of by saying this review is long overdue. I have been going to Uno’s for many years with friends and family. The food is good, although I don’t stray far from the salads, pizza, and apps. The prices and specials are great. The service and management here have always been the highlight of the Uno’s experience. I dine at the bar frequently and Tom is fantastic. He knows his regulars! I’m happy to have somewhere close by to grab a glass of wine and an app without having to get all dolled up! The hosts always greet me at the door on the way in and the way out, hello and goodbye! I’ll see you soon!

I’ve never been inside the restaurant, so I can’t comment on service or atmosphere. What I can tell you is that we order pizzas from here and pick them up a few times a month. The pizza is consistently cooked, hot, and delicious! Nothing else satisfies when an Uno’s craving hits, and the«buy one, get one» special makes it just as affordable as any other pizza place. Also, who doesn’t love online ordering?

30 minute wait for appetizers? At 4:30 on a Saturday? Don’t come here with expectations of good service. Get take out and save yourself the tip.

This place sucks… The waitstaff and management in this location are completely incompetent. I went there on a slow Sunday evening around 8pm. The hostess sat us and brought us menus and silverware… That’s where everything ended. A waitress and waiter came out, chatted with other tables, looked at us and moved on. After 15 minutes of waiting, we got up, brought the menus back to the front and the manager and was pleasantly told, «have a good night»… Fuck this place…

place was big and well designed and well kept. they have a bunch of TVs playing sports and news. our waiter was nice as was the hostess. it’s typical chain restaurant. food tastes generic and overpriced. we got the large deep dish veggie pizza for $ 19(feeds 2 – 3). it would have been a medium at pizza hut. crust was tasteless. the rattlesnake pasta was very plain looking. just had a few sliced jalepenos and shredded cheese on top but other than that it looked boring. taste was good but nothing special. we got 2 salads(forgot name and price) but they were really really simple. like something a single guy would slap together from a package. NOT worth it. again, i just don’t like chain restaurants b/c they all use the same generic ingredients. better off getting pizza at your local shop.
