I’ve tried both the phở and the sushi and I was very happy with both. The sushi in particular is delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. These guys are definitely on par with Mori house and the extra non-Japanese options are a real bonus.

Hands down, the best sushi I’ve ever had. I’ve never eaten nigiri because I don’t like fish, and the nigiri was absolutely amazing and incredibly fresh.

Gave new location a second chance after the FIRST time I went with family and no one came to our table. Owner explained he was understaffed that evening and invited me back, so tonight was the second chance — I even let him know we were coming. A very long wait for drinks. A reasonable wait for food. Better get what you want to drink up front, because no one checked to see if we wanted anything else. Request an oversize table, because taking empty plates from the table is beneath the staff. Apparently they expect you to bus your own table? And be sure to order more food than you think you’ll want, because the staff will not bring all your food, yet charge you for it(no soup or salad with the Teriyaki Chicken, despite what the menu says). Food was excellent, but not worth the service hassle. Mori House is around the corner — far better service and comparable food. Or, if you want very good sushi, sit at the bar, circumvent the horrid service, as sushi chefs are typically awesome here. When the wife says«I’ll never go back», that is pretty bad. ***Perhaps if the owners wife would spend more time improving service rather than responding to every negative comment on Social Media, there would be better service. To clarify, we came in fairly early, there were only 5 other tables when we sat. There was not a full restaurant the entire evening. Despite this, no one came to ask to refill drinks, no one took empty plates from table, no one asked if everything was fine at our table. You knew who we were when we came in, and knew I had spoken with your husband prior, and yet service was still sloppy. Thank you for the $ 50 promised credit, but you neglect to mention that credit was NOT on my bill when presented, and we had to wait another 15 minutes for that to be corrected. I am certain there is another excuse you will provide for this. Instead, please focus on your staff, so service away from the sushi bar(which has always been excellent) can improve.

Phở broth had good flavor to bad the they didn’t put much of the meats in. The we’ll done flank was extra well and tough. There was 1 shrimp and a ¼ beef ball… and the rare steak was no where near rare. But the suprise was when we asked for extra limes, and they said that it would be a $ 1. And then only brought out 3 little slivers. Very dissapointing! As for the squid salad the squid was very tough also.

This place is so awesome. The atmosphere is elevated, quiet, but still feels casual enough to where I didn’t feel uncomfortable eating at the sushi bar alone. I ordered vegetable tempura, the sashimi appetizer, and the Raising Arizona roll. I was expecting a paper sushi menu like I always see at sushi restaurants, but since this place has other menu options they had an ACTUAL hard cover menu(so nice!). The sushi chefs, Dave and Andy, even gave me a few pieces of tuna to try! They were so nice to talk to, and also gave me a little lesson on what kinds of tuna they have and how they prepare it. I’ve never had a roll with cooked fish on top since I prefer raw fish, but this one they used a blow torch on to sear the fish… it was amazing. Overall, loved the place! And I found a 20% off coupon on their website for the grand opening. I will DEFINITELY choose this place over the other sushi restaurant nearby here, seeing as they were so much nicer and the fish was so fresh! Thank you MiChi!

I ordered sushi and they were delicious. From the looks of the menu and the dishes they were bringing out to guest – I’d trust that they serve tasteful menu items,

Once again my predictions was correct about this place closing down in less than 6 months. Shame on the owner to respond back to reviewers in that manner.

I have been getting take out from this place for years now! It is amazing! You pretty much can’t go wrong with any of it. Tonight my friend and I had the Big Apple Roll, which I have never had before. It was one of the best rolls I have ever had! The apple really makes it. Did a whole smörgåsbord of stuff. 4 rolls and 3 apps. Not a bad thing among it. For those that don’t like tofu, if you are willing to give it another try do their Agidashi Tofu! Add a little salt! Way to go Mi Chi! Spot on!

Outstanding sushi! We let the sushi chef put together a sampler for us and it was incredible. The octopus was our favorite but everything was delicious. I came here last week for the phở which was also very good. I can’t wait to come back!

If you follow my reviews then you know I’m obsessive. I go bananas for something and I must have it all the time. I’ve been that way since I was a kid, but when I was younger, my binge for a particular item only lasted a week or two. Now they seem to last for months. Since I’ve been on Unilocal,I’ve had burger binges, shrimp n’ grits binges, lobster roll binges, Jamaican oxtail binges and now my most recent must have… phở. I fully thought my obsession for phở would be over by now, but it seems to continually increase. I’m practically having phở every day and on a few occasions twice a day. In a short summary, I’d just like to say I was very pleased with the phở here @ Mi Chi’s. It may be the cleanest phở I’ve experienced to date because there was little to no oil droplets floating on the surface of the broth. I thought that might take away from the flavor, but it did not. The broth had a slight sweetness that I liked and lots and lots of noodles, but not as much meat as I would have expected. The filet steak was the tenderest of any phở I’ve ever had and double the thickness. It was so tender in fact that it makes me wonder if other phở restaurants are actually using filet mignon. After trying this place, I now know that a thicker cut makes a big difference. On our first visit, I would have described the calamari as the best I’ve had in a long time. However, on my second visit, the calamari was not as impressive. My third visit was somewhere in the middle. Overall 3.95 stars(almost a fan). The Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice(3.75 stars) served in an actual pineapple was a cool and unique experience while the crab cake was beautifully presented and quite tasty(4 stars). Actually, everything we’ve tried to date has been a winner. Service was slow our first visit because there was only one server for about 10 open tables. This is a problem they need to correct. Our second and third visits were better, but then again there were only two other tables with diners. The ambiance is well above average for a phở restaurant and dare I say upscale. The giant bamboo vase in the middle of the restaurant, nice wood details, stylish lighting and Asian-inspired art was very charming and quaint. Definitely a great date night spot. FINALTHOUGHTS Looking for PHO in Suwanee, then look no further!!! Mi Chi’s is a classy place that combines nice presentation with a beautiful décor and tasty food. Service could use some improving and is terribly slow when there are more than a few diners. Also, on each occasion, we were not presented with a bill and had to go stand by the cashiers check stand to prompt our server into closing out our meal. Maybe this is standard, but in such a nice restaurant it feels weird not to have a check brought to your table. Overall I’ve been very pleased with all three of my dining experiences and will certainly be back for more. If they can get service under control, this will quickly become a 5-star recommendation. 2016⁄31

Sushi and service was spectacular! This is their 2nd Monday of being open and they opened on time! I was welcomed by the chef and the owner as soon as I walked through the door. The ambiance was great and the venue is beautiful! Both of my dishes were recommended by the chef and each of them were great! This was my first time trying raw tuna and yellowtail, however it was good! The fish was very fresh! It was pulled from a package where I could see him making my rolls, and I served by the chef as soon as he complete making my rolls oh so BEAUtiful! Since I came alone and was the only person in the place of business at the moment, he, the owner(my waitress), and myself engaged in conversation afterwards. I felt very welcomed within their place of business AND the food was good! Thanks!

First time here and upon enter the place was decorated very nice. I ordered the Phở and my Co-worker ordered the beef hibachi. First my bowl of Phở cost $ 12 which is high compared to authentic Phở places where you can get a bowl for between $ 5 – 8. The Phở was so-so and not worth the extra money plus the amount of meat they put in there wasn’t enough. My Co-worker didn’t enjoy his dish either. He asked for his steak to be cooked medium rare but it came out well done. Meat was tough and veggies didn’t look appetizing. Our waitress didn’t seem knowledgable about the dishes either. I won’t be coming back here and neither will my Co-worker which sucks because it’s right down the street from our office.

Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. Went here for a business meeting & it’s a chill restaurant. The menu could use more items but the selection was very unique. I ordered the honey glaze salmon & shrimp. It was almost too beautiful to eat… but I managed! Lol
