Entrée where good rest of the foot was awful forget the kosher, menus are understandable meaning the write«pork» on a kosher menu is misleading

Stopped here on a whim and am I glad we did! My wife is not a fan of sushi, but she has now determined that she does in fact enjoy sushi especially the Shibumi and Volcano. It was bad sushi she had had before that turned her off. We were thoroughly impressed with the food and the service. I think it is a tad over priced, but still worth a once in a while splurge. A must try!

Great service and food! Nice atmosphere, enough lighting. Prices are good for what you get especially compared to other kosher upscale steakhouses in the Miami Beach area. Much better food and portions than Harbour Grill to my opinion.

I was there tonight 2⁄8 with Food Connossieur. I never write reviews, but I feel very strongly about this place. We ordered 3 different appetizers that were all just totally bland and tasteless. In all honesty, I could have made tastier appetizers myself, with zero experience in the kitchen. For the entrée we ordered the filet mignon medium rare(which came out medium well) and was tough and rubbery, as well as the steak with mushroom sauce which was also below average meat quality. I am from NY and have been to 4 – 5 dozen restaurants and this was the most disappointing. They tried to make it up with a free dessert, which was a nice gesture, but too little too late. Also, the service was nonexistent

They had messed up my reservation and had to wait for a few minutes while they sorted it out and found a place for me and my family. Their food tastes on and they are really overpriced. The service is also a bit slow.

Had to wait almost an hour for our food to come when the restaurant was nearly empty! The delicious food made up for the long wait. Everything was tasty and the restaurant had a nice ambiance as well!

My company, Empire Title Services, just had its 10th annual end of year dinner at Kosh — two years in a row!!! We were a party of 24 and every single person in our table raved about the food and service. Its not easy to accomodate so many at one single serving and have us all happy and satisfied. Kosh is definitely a restaurant I would recommend to all; and for those who have the«old» Kosh in mind… well this new Kosh just redefined what a great«dining experience» should be about. Bön Appetite!

Horrible service. Had to look for our waiter to order food for a long time. Staff were nice but could see the problem is leadership. Once complaint all wanted to help but more confused. You may end up having your food when your family is done and ready to go home because they don’t bring food all together. Forgot our coffee then forgot last meal. Heard other tables complaining as well. Asked for manager 3 times and they didn’t have the courage to show up. They charge us for something that they forgot and when we asked to correct the bill it took 10minutes. Food was good. If you care about good service better not to go there.

I had known Kosh a couple of years ago and my experience had just been ok. It was a good restaurant in the kosher steakhouse market. Friends of mine had told me that they had undergone a new management change and the restaurant had improved drastically. I went there this week with a large family party. The place was over packed this time but the service was fantastic. Extremely nice waiters who were able to attend my big family very smoothly. The decoration went through an overhaul and the restaurant felt more premium. All of these changes were very noticeable, but it was the food that made me realize this was a very different restaurant from the one I had known. We ordered many appetizers for the whole table and there were some definite stand outs like the beef carpaccio and the tuna tower. For my entrée I ordered the rib eye which was FANTASTIC. Easily one of the best steaks I have eaten. I was to full to try some of the deserts but they looked delicious. The members of my family that did eat them, enjoyed them very much. I spoke to some of the waiters, and they had told me that the restaurant had the new owners from the people of Fresko in Aventura. Great food, great service, great restaurant. Make sure to make a reservation when you go because the place was packed. Will definitely come back!

I came in earlier this week and had the peppered tuna steak. It was decent. My co worker had the filet mignon and let me try it and it was delicious. So next time, I’ll be doing steak. Overall nice setting, service was OK.

My wife and I ate at this restaurant last night. We had eaten here originally when It opened two years ago and thought it was pretty good. Last night was excellent. Not only was it the best service we’ve had in any of the kosher restaurants in Bal harbour, but the food was phenomenal. My wife had the chicken with capers and I had the ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly. We had started with some sushi rolls that were great and this plantain with shredded beef appetizer. Dessert we had The molten lava chocolate cake.

I used to love this place, I’d come here every sunday and Thursday, I’d usually order schnitzel, but they recently hired a new cook and the quality of the food is now a disaster. Ironically I spoke to a friend who lives around the corner and she also said that their new cook has been really bad for the past couple weeks(before that it was fine) recommend not going on thurs and sunday unless you want salty gross chicken

They should improve their telephone etiquette. It seems to speak with a telegraphic service and the guy answering the phone should learn at least to say bye before closing in your face twice!!! Hopefully when I will be able to have time on the phone to speak with them I will be able to reserve a table and tell everybody if the good and service inside the restaurant is better the the phone availability and courtesy !!!

First thins first… The place is really nicely decorated, upscale, elegant and it makes you feel fancy. Service was good, the waiter was very friendly, fast and knowledgable. Now the important stuff… food… and price: First of all, this is a glatt kosher meat restaurant, this automatically raises the price by more than a few notches. Then again, this is a glatt kosher meat restaurant, this means the steak is either going to be EXCELLENT or is going to be as bad as chewing salty rubber. Kosh is in the excellent category. I ordered a «reserve» steak which is kind of the center part of the filet mignon(as explained by the waiter). I got in my plate a large(by kosher standards, it was very large) steak which was tender and juicy. Unfortunately it is so lean, that it didn’t have a bit more flavor like a skirt steak but it was still good. Came together with some potatoes and a veggie mix — all good. My wife had 2 appetizers, 4 sliders which were really good and some«vaca frita» tapas. A bit too lemon-ish for my taste but they were kind of original… good to see in a glatt kosher place. Now, 1 entrée, 2 appetizers and a glass of wine with $ 105 was a bit steep, but for a glatt kosher steak house is what I was expecting to pay. Regardless, for the price, they could have offered some fancy bread and a creative parve garlic margarine or something but they didn’t. I will go back probably, to try a few more items but I’ll stick to some of my other favorite glatt kosher steakhouses for a while.

This is a nice, classy place overall. I had dinner with a large group here recently and everybody seemed to enjoy the experience. You can park on the street out front or in a lot behind a shopping center just across the street, which is metered, but has more spaces available. The restaurant is on the small side but we had enough room. The atmosphere was great! Very sophisticated and intimate; it was somewhat noisy between the music from the bar and every table’s conversations, but not unreasonable. The food was very good. I ordered the chicken noodle soup as an appetizer(it was decent), and the 16 oz. prime boneless rib eye steak(delicious) with a side of fries and steamed vegetables. For dessert, I had the chocolate lava cake which was equally as good. I would rate this restaurant five stars, but knocked one off because of the mediocre service. While the waitstaff was friendly, they were very inattentive and it look a long time to have each course served. I think we waited 45 minutes from ordering our entrees to receiving them and at least 25 minutes before we got our desserts. The waitress that had taken our orders at first seemed to forget about us, only checking if we needed anything once or twice, and we basically had multiple people coming by. It was very busy so I’m thinking they were overwhelmed, but still. That said: I had never been here before our group dinner and generally we all had a great time. Check it out!
