I’m only giving them a review because the service was soo bad. I tried to call in an order for a pizza at 6pm. The phone stayed busy. So at 6:30 pm I drove the 1.5 miles no big deal. When I got there to place a to go order the restaurant was half filled but when I tried to order I was told they were no longer serving pizza! A pizza place no longer serving pizza? If I wanted pizza it would be a 2 hour wait! They weren’t even nice about it. I went to Lazers instead and it was amazing. So if you don’t get here before 7pm on a Sunday, go to Lazers. They are awesome, fast and friendly.

Would have loved to try the pizza as it was highly recommended but called 6 times and was hung up on then stopped in and waited in line to be helped for 15 mins with no service. Pizza looked really good would’ve loved the chance to taste it.

Place is a hidden gem! Went in late not realizing they were getting ready to close — they kept telling us not to apologize! Very friendly, accommodating and attending. Pizza was fresh, hot and delicious! Crisp crust was perfect — nothing worse than soggy pizza! Just the right amount of sauce too :) Will definitely be frequenting this place as my new local pizza parkour, just wish the pie was bigger! I’m from NY originally, and the standard pie was always 18″, house pies 20″. Just don’t get these little slices, they don’t seem right to me! Great place, highly recommend.

Tasty pizza, slow delivery. The pizza was good and mostly hot but I would opt for eating in rather than delivery next time.

My wife & I decided on this place from local word of mouth and are more than happy with our decision. The pizzas only come in 10 or 16 inch which are pretty large slices. We also ordered the garlic knots & fried calamari which both were exceptionally good. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh Za! We will be back next year.

This place was awesome! The marinara is excellent. For me that’s a hallmark sign of a good pizza place. The service is on point and the place was very clean. Parking is a little hit or miss, but worth it.

Found this little gem while vacationing at Huntington Beach State Park and we were ready for a pizza lunch. Great spot in Surfside — waiter was Chad and he was a front-of-the-house one man show; taking call-in orders, walk-ins and tables. Friendly, prompt and happily answered all of our annoying tourist questions. Got a pizza and it was perfect. Thin-ish crust, crispy but not too crispy, excellent cheese, veggies and sausage. Also got dessert and they were fantastic too. The owner came out and we chatted, super nice guy running a great pizza place. Personally, one needs a go-to pizza place in every town he visits — I know I have mine here.

Great service, our waiter was on point with filling our drinks, and food was out quickly despite being very busy. We had the stuffed pizza. The ingredients are very high quality, and we felt the value on the meal surpasses every pizza restaurant in the grand strand. I will be bringing friends here when they visit.

Local little joint. They cook with fire! Everything steaming hot. Pizzas just from the oven. Italian wedding soup is made from scratch and has a delicious broth. Pizza crust has great flavor and perfect salt level. Stromboli 8 of 10 …most have a deluge of grease coming out when cut… this doesn’t. Chix parm solid 8 of 10. They also have pizza by the slice… a plus for those kids that can’t agree on a single pie to share. There are 3 italian type restaurants right next to each other so dont get confused. They have a steady stream of diners and to go orders.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The girlfriend and I just picked up two pizzas right at close which if you have ever worked in the restaurant industry is a pain so sorry about that but, we get there and realize I failed to mention we needed them gluten free, I thought I was up * creek without a paddle(again sorry). The owner and staff were super nice and happily made us two new pizza and now the girlfriend and I are enjoying the delicious pizza! Thanks for the hospitality

Man, some good pizza and authentic home-made Italian dishes. Look out for the specials. It is a mom & pop sort of place, with warm and friendly staff. Chad our waiter is great. Animated, fun and well knowledgeable about what is on the menu and special’s blackboard. Wine by the glass are house wines of several varietals. $ 5/glass is very do-able. Wife had the Lobster Ravioli in a red sauce; I opted for two slices of pizza customized to my liking. Each of us had the house salad with their very own home-made Italian dressing. Dessert which we usually skip… we didn’t this time… had the Tiramisu Small intimate place that is non-pretentious(unlike some of the neighbors) but they hold a crowd. We had heard wonderful things about this gastronomic gem, but it took us almost 2 years to try it out… our loss; we will be back. SaleebScore: Ambiance 8⁄10; Food 9.5÷10; Service 9⁄10; Value 10⁄10. OH and YES: The slice with Eggplant and Pepperoni was Awesome.

I haven’t had the pizza yet, but their Italian dishes are outstanding. Probably the best meat lasagna and lobster ravioli I’ve had so far. The bread is fresh baked and comes hot and crisp out of the oven. This place is a gem! Next time I’ll try to pizza.

Surfside Pizza is hidden next to Borgata and Malibu restaurants on the small strip on the Southside of Surfside Drive. This hidden gem, my husband and I entered and felt like we were walking into someone’s home. The Décor is warm and cozy. Our waitress didn’t introduce herself, but was pleasant and took our orders right away. We were both hungry and didn’t want to wait. But of course, everything takes time. All of a sudden, this magnificent stuffed pie was delivered to a nearby table. I told my hubby that if it takes ten seconds longer, I’m going to dive into their pie. I held a fork in my hand and turned from my husband to the table, and the people obviously heard me and began laughing. I was only joking, but honestly, it looked that good. We ordered chicken parmigiana and meatball parmigiana hero’s. The waitress stopped by to top off our beverages and I asked if the breads were made at Benjamin’s Bakery, and she said yes. No wonder it was so fresh, Benjamin’s is right around the corner. My husband ate his hero so fast, he reached down for the second half of it, and came to realize he had already eaten it. It was that good! I ate half of my hero, with the bread, which I don’t usually do, but it was so fresh and delicious, it was gone in no time. The second half of my hero was calling me, I shared it with my husband and we both agreed we’ll be coming back. The prices were reasonable and there was nothing I could complain about. Lisa, the owner came to the table and we enjoyed a pleasant conversation with her. They really want to make you feel welcome here. It is a small place with about 12 – 15 tables(a guess). I could be selfish and not write a review, as I don’t want it to get too crowded, however that is not my way. Go find it and enjoy!

Somehow this place caught my eye on Unilocal the other day, so I bookmarked it to try«later». Later ended up being the next day when I needed a warm, quick dinner. It’s easy to find, IF you are looking for it– it’s tucked into a shopping center on the corner of Surfside drive and Highway 17. I walked in about 7:15 on a Friday night and the place was busy. I walked right up and placed my to go order. 2 slices of cheese pizza, for $ 4. I was there about 5 minutes– in and out. There is parking on both sides of the street and I could see that during the high season it maybe troublesome to find a spot. They do offer delivery, but based on a phone call I overheard, you must be in the town of Surfside– which means I’ll have to continue to get takeout. Because my pizza was delish! NY style pizza, with crispy crust, the right balance of cheese and sauce. I’m looking forward to going back with family and friends!

Double R and his family were eating, at a place just doors away When he smells something so delicious, in his seat he could not stay. His wife and children were puzzled, since they had just sat down to eat That this food whore of a man decided, he wanted a different treat So he strolls away from his table, right out the restaurant front door And suddenly finds himself standing, on Surfside Pizzas wood floor I’ll just take a menu he said, to the girl whom was standing there «That’s fine but we have GREAT pizza, just in case you weren’t aware» I can tell because the smell, has my taste buds doing back flips «Just imagine what they will do, once this pizza crosses your lips» «You done dun it now» I said, «I really MUST purchase a slice Because aside from the amazing smell, I just can’t resist the price» But what am I going to say, to my family waiting next door? «Just give them a bite» she said, «I’m sure you’ll be back for more.» I asked if I could eat my slice, back @ my table and they didn’t care And after one bite I realized, I wasn’t really willing to share The moral of this story is, as I continue to nurse my black eye Never leave your wife at a table, and return without sharing you pizza pie. The End — — — — — — — — — — — — - I would have to agree with the other reviewers. Great pizza. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. This is a pizzeria run by a transplanted New York family. There is not a lot of fanfare here. Honestly, if you weren’t looking for this place, you might completely pass it. We happened to be walking into Borgata restaurant two doors down when I caught scent of an incredibly delicious smell. We were seated at that restaurant when I decided to walk down to grab a menu for future reference. I just had to follow my nose and before I knew it, I was ordering a slice of pizza to go. Hey, don’t judge!!! If you could have witnessed how incredible it smelled inside this place you would have bought a slice too! My wife thought I was nuts when I came back to the other restaurant with a slice of sausage pizza. But I tell you what, I wish we had just forgone that restaurant in the beginning to eat @ Surfside Beach Pizza. FINALTHOUGHTS Myrtle Beach is loaded with overpriced restaurants. Not only is the food here a great deal, it’s some of the best eats we had during our week-long visit to Myrtle Beach.
