First let me say there is much good about Delvickio’s in Superior. Its small, quiet when I’ve visited, clean, and comfortable. A nice break from the crowded and noisy places all over the front range now. The food I’ve had has been good to very good. I’m not sure they make it themselves, but its a good meal. I do recommend it. Now for my last visit. The service staff were good, but were very young and laughably awkward with performing service. No adults were visible at any time, but they did ok. Not sure they should be out on a school night! The food was good, my lasagna was very good, warm enough and hearty. The spinach salad was quite good and fresh. The not so good — I felt like I was nickeled and dimed and the value was on the low side. The lasagna was $ 13 and they dinged me an additional $ 3 for sauce. So $ 16 for a average size portion of lasagna? Really should have been a much larger portion for that price. My date and I were going to split a spinach salad but the young waiter said our meals came with salad. But when the bill came each us us were charged $ 2 for having the spinach versus the house salad. Was it worth it, yes, but it being an extra cost was never mentioned. Will I go again? yes. Will I check every menu item cost very closely, or bring my accountant, you bet!

Good local Italian food. Not fantastic, but certainly good enough for a quick meal or a meal with friends.

Tonight my family and I dined at one of the best Italian restaurants. Delvickios has by far the most delicious selections of Italian food. Coming from NYC this topped some of NY’S finest. The Tiramisu was to die for, three of us endulged… Philippe Jourdin was pleasant and extremely attentive to all our needs. This restaurant gets 5 stars!!! Thank you Philippe Jourdin for an amazing experience.

Showed up for a relaxing meal and have a nice bottle of wine… Boom! everything came out at record speed. Food was absolutely tasteless. I could have spent my $ 120 elsewhere. Won’t be back. Had high hopes :(

This establishment serves food. The food comes in packages and is assembled before serving. Nothing is distinctly different from what could be prepared after visiting Safeway. Coincidentally, there is a Safeway in walking distance. Go there. Eat better for less. Hell, go to Pizza Hut! Uncertain how anyone gave positive reviews. We were both in distress shortly after our meal. Unfortunately one star is the minimum.

Poor customer service! I attempted to schedule a group event. The manager did not return my call timely and when he did seemed reluctant to book my party due the request to book a large party on a Friday evening at a busy time, this is understandable, however he did say he would look into it and call me back. He never called me back. Very unprofessional! I would assume a reflection of their service and therefore I won’t be eating at this restaurant and have recommended not to to my friends and family as well.

This place is amazing! You definitely need to order the spicy toasted ravioli and you haven’t lived a day of life until you eat the canoli here… food for on heaven.

Room is very comfortable and cozy. Service very good. Appetizers great. All three main courses were a disappointment. We had baked Gnochi with meatballs, spaghetti Delvickio’s, and a white sauce pasta dish. Red sauce was uninspiring, more like a restaurant chain. White sauce dish was bland. What a bummer, we really loved the ambiance.

I went here with my girlfriend on a Saturday night at 7:30 and we were the only people in the restaurant. Overall, it really was a decent place. The server was very nice and even though the restaurant was very slow they were very attentive to us. Both of our main dishes were pretty good and came with a nice side salad. I will say, the spinach artichoke dip appetizer was randomly terrible. It was lukewarm cheese wiz and little pieces of toasted French bread. Stay away from that appetizer and you will probably have a decent experience.

Very disappointed with the restaurant. When I arrived to pick up our to go food after the allotted 25 minutes had passed, our food hadn’t even been put in to the computer yet. There were only a handful of tables in the restaurant but the server said she had forgotten to put it in because they just experienced a rush. I waited an additional 20 minutes to get my food and was finally on my way. They were out of jalapeños(what? You’re next to a Safeway… go get some!) so I had a straight pepperoni pizza which was OK and the reason they are getting 2 stars. My wife had the Delvickios Linguine which was inedible. The sauce was overly acidic and tasted like it had been flavored with some kind of cleaning fluid. We had a couple bites and threw it in the trash. This place is just down the street from us, so we want to like it, but for 30 bucks, this was too much and the food was not worth it.

I love the feeling of something outside the norm. When you step inside this strip mall(right around the corner from an actual mall) you feel all warm and cozy. The hostess sat us immediately and ushered us to our table. Red and white checkered tablecloths with fancy white fan napkins, fresh flowers and a candle in a different color on every table awaits. Oh and the salt and pepper shakers are on our table cats, the other table, pigs, and I see a couple different ones over a little farther away. For our app we got the ‘Best ever artichoke dip’. It was very creamy and had buttered toast with parmesan on top. Very delicious. In the top is say. Main course I got the Delvickios ravioli with chicken. Omg the creamy sauce was great and plentiful! Greg H got the lasagna(which he can never pass up). It was just big enough to debate if you really wanted to finish the last bite to make you uncomfortabley full. And now dessert… The brownie. I mean chocolate. Hello. Two scoops of ice cream and lots of whip cream too. I would have had the brownie a little warmer but it was good still. Ill be back. Oh and when you pay they give you a coupon for a free beer or house wine. And get Brittany, she was great! I had 6 glasses of water and she was on it before it even touched the bottom :)

This place consistently gets good reviews. We even saw it in a magazine as a «couldn’t miss» in the area. We went and the place was solidly mediocre. The prices were about the same as all the chains in the area, which is to say, moderately expensive(~$ 12 – 16 an entrée). You could get something as tasty at the Safeway next door for a lot cheaper. Or go to Parma, or one of the Italian chains. I wouldn’t bother.

So I came here because of the awesome reviews and was a little let down. I ordered a calzone, which was pretty good and the bread appetizer was wonderful. However, the service was terrible and slow, even while we were the ONLY people there. My husband had the all you can eat spaghetti, which was just… sad. Seriously, The first plate had one meatball, the second plate had NO meatballs, and was kid-sized. No, I’m not exaggerating, our son ordered the kids spaghetti and they were the same portion size. I really wanted to like this place. I love supporting local and family owned businesses, especially when they are in my neighborhood, but when your cook is too lazy to make spaghetti, you know there is something wrong.

Pathetic. I went for the«all-you-can-eat» spaghetti special. My first order was a meatball spaghetti. It came out with a single meatball sitting on top of a huge plate of spaghetti. The dish itself tasted worse than what my 6-year old son could make. It tasted like they took Barilla spaghetti and tossed basic Ragu sauce on it and brought it out to me. I finished this and wanted more(only because I was hungry and had completed a run and wanted carbs), but I had to sit for 20 minutes before the waitress came back and I had to tell her I wanted more. She never offered once. My drink was constantly empty for 10 minutes at a time. The only good thing was the overpriced bread appetizer plates. It shares a bathroom with Rock Creek Sports Grill. I will never be back, which is disappointing because it smelled amazing. Absolutely pathetic. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

Had breakfast here with the family. I ordered the Pinocchio — which is Eggs Benedict w/vegetables. Good quantity of tomatoes(fresh & sun-dried), artichokes and spinach. Good amount of hollandaise sauce. The English muffins were well-toasted and held up well under all the fixins. Could’ve used a touch more salt, but that was easily remedied by myself at the table. Loved that the hash browns were crisp and golden instead of limp and soft(like at many restaurants). Unique/cool that the entrees came with pumpkin ginger spice bread(seasonal, I wonder?), however, I think it would’ve been better had that been served on a separate small plate because it was in contact and absorbing the hollandaise. Still good, though. The server was attentive and friendly throughout. Some areas for improvement — the coffee is horrible. It’s like coffee-flavored water. Also, a kids’ menu would’ve been nice. My son ordered pancakes with bacon and it was $ 8. There were four gigantic pancakes(which we took home) and he ate 1. But the pancakes were huge, fluffy and golden-y delicious looking. For a neighborhood joint in a strip mall next to Safeway, I’m pleasantly surprised and would come again. Interested in how the dinners are.
