I went to the salon to get ready for my daughter’s Quince. Everybody was amazed by the nice clean cut I got by Mikel, the best hair stylist in town. Period!!!

I love Mikel. He has been cutting my hair as well as my 2 children’s hair for a long time now. He is very professional and knows what he is doing. Mikel and Mimi did a lot of hard work to make their salon warm, cozy and inviting. I recommend Mikel and Mimi to anyone looking for a great hairstylist. You can’t go wrong with either one of them.

For 9 years, I’ve bounced from one salon to another, looking for a professional stylist that can meet the expertise my hair needed, but to no avail. I then met Mikel Lopez. I have been lucky to have Mikel as my sylist/​colorist for over 10 years. He is a true perfectionist. Before he colors or cuts my hair, he gives me a full consultation, being certain he designs my hair exactly the way I wanted. A few years ago, he treated my hair with Keratin, and I couldn’t be happier! I get follow-​up treatments a few times a year to keep my hair’s silky texture. I’ve been told my hair is the softest hair they’ve ever felt! To think my hair was a frizzy, unruly, and dried-​out mess before Keratin! When Mikel cuts my hair, he pays extra attention to the symmetry of the cut. He highlights my hair so well, it looks natural! I first started as one of Mimi’s clients over 2 years ago when she was working for a large retail store. She rescued my poor hair, it was so many different colors with sun and chlorine damage. She instantly transformed me into looking at least 10 years younger.
I look forward to my appointments with Mimi because it’s like a day at the spa, I feel so refreshed and renewed afterwards. She always has coffee ready when I come in and she makes me feel so comfortable.
I told her that I may be moving to Orlando next year but I will be back once month to see her and have my hair done, I feel it’s difficult to find a hair stylist to trust with my hair.
I’m so happy that I made that choice on that day to make that first appointment with Mimi. My soon-​to-​be daughter-​in-​law has started with Mimi as well.

My honey has been going to Mikel for a few years now and I love the way he raves about this guy, that I decided to go check out this place myself. I have to say I absolutely loved the place its small and very cosy and very intimate setting! It smells amazing and I love the way they have the place decorated. Watching Mikel go to work is absolutely magical and how passionate he is. He makes recommendation that goes well with you instead of just getting your business. He is absolutely flexible with his customers and he sure does have his regulars from what I could tell. I would recommend everyone to him and I can’t wait to go back!

I recently got my hair cut here and I loved it! Mikel did an awesome job on my haircut and I’m one that is never satisfied with a haircut. My hair is really curly and I never really ever get anything done on it but just a simple regular straight haircut. I decided I needed a change showed Mikel a picture of what I wanted and he was able to do just that! Now I have a cute short curly haircut that everyone keeps complementing. It also looks great when I straighten it!

I’ve been going to Mimi from Mikel and Me Hair Salon for 7 years. My hair is very curly and I love how she styles my hair in such way that it looks good straight and curly. Cutting curly hair is not an easy thing to do. I drive from Orlando once a month for her to do my hair. Her blow dries are the best!!! They last!!! Happy client!
