Love the idea! For fast food sushi, I don’t think you could ask for better. Also reasonably priced.

My husband and I love how do you roll. We first saw the concept on shark tank and as sushi lovers, loved the concept. When we moved to Ft Lauderdale we looked for some new sushi places to try out and how do you roll became an instant favorite. I love that we can make our own rolls or choose popular ones off the menu. The stuffed avocados are delicious and a great alternative if you want«sushi» without all the rice. How do you roll is also very reasonably priced. Sushi dates can get expensive(around $ 100), so when we are looking to satisfy our sushi craving on a budget, this is where we go. The Sunrise location is always clean and the staff always friendly. I recommend friends and family to how do you roll all of the time.

Fast food sushi, rice bowls, salads, etc. Everything is made to order. But they use really poor quality pre cooked chicken and beef. Everything they gain in my mind making food to order using fresh veggies is lost on the meat. They pissed me off tonight so I had to update my review. 1. It’s not nice to start turning off lights 30 minutes before close. 2. I don’t like to eat food in total darkness. See photo. 3. When you almost knock me out with the door because it’s too dark to see in front of you it’s unsafe. 4. You shouldn’t roll up your floor mats under the soda machine while customers are still in the store. If you must you shouldn’t then leave them on the floor in the dark for me to trip over. 5. A smile wouldn’t kill any of you, trust me. 6. Any restaurant that closes I.e. 9:00 should expect to stay around cleaning until 9:30 or 10:00. If not your rude, rushing or skipping corners. Possibly all three. 7. Nice for all of you to take all the closeup parking spaces. Not that I’m surprised.

From placed an order to serve on table, they took 22 minutes with no customers in between. Are you serious?! There are two staffs work in the kitchen, one cashier, and one server. I wonder what cause them that SLOW.

Stopped by after my gym session for a quick bite around 8:45pm and the cashier was literally rushing us out. Not impressed with the rolls and especially disappointed with the noodle bowl.

Ate here for the second time and was very disappointed. The food was terrible, the staff was uninterested and tons of little fruit flies were landing on my food. I won’t be back!!!

This place hit the spot for my sushi rice bowl craving. It tasted fresh and there are many options to create your own bowl. I got a salmon bowl and gobbled it up. At a little over $ 8 for a generously sized bowl, fast service, friendly staff, and fresh tasting food(and brown rice option!), it was well worth the price and visit. next time I am in the area and in need of something quick and healthy, Ill be back :)

Love this place but a few downfalls which prevent more trips… the time it takes from ordering to being ready is unfortunately ridiculous sometimes over 30 mins for two rolls??? It just hasn’t gotten any better, maybe even worse on time. Love the miso chicken, used to love the beefinator before they changed it and now sometimes it’s quite chewy… I come back because there is sushi I can eat and sushi I can create, I just wish some things improved. Always hoping for change… may try again today actually for Super Bowl, just hoping it goes smoother…

I’m always down to eat sushi especially when it’s this good! This How Do You Roll location is located on a busy strip next to other popular«sit n go» restaurants like Panera, Starbucks, Moe’s and Subway. It is also conveniently placed near a busy LA Fitness so after my workouts I can get a quick healthy snack or meal. I’ve been to this location several times and I’ve never been disappointed with the quality and freshness of their rolls and their customer service. Their menu is very customizable like a chipotle or subway for sushi. This business was featured on Shark Tank and it’s one of the reasons I checked it out. Aside from building your own rolls they have classics like the California roll or the salmon roll to originals like the Beefanator which features grilled beef and some type of banana sauce and spicy mayo, yum! Their menu also features calories for those watching what they eat!

Gave this place a fair shot to improve from the last visit. They blew it, they went from bad to worst. 25 minutes for a California roll at a ‘fast food” type of place is a total joke. I was not the only customer not happy with the super slooooooow sushi and this was at a slow time. I also ordered the the chicken raman, aslightly warm flavorless broth with still cold chicken and noodles, do I have to go any further in my description? I don’t plan to giving them a third chance if you never been there you shouldn’t even bother giving them a first chance.

Great product(I eat here often) but terrible service when they are busy. On my recent visit last Friday, I waited 25 minutes for the spicy tuna bowl(a standard menu item) while customers who placed to-go orders after me(at the store) had their orders filled first. Customer’s who make the trip and are eating on premises should be a priority.

Meh. This is my third time coming here and each time I’ve left feeling like I paid way too much for such average, small rolls/bowls. This particular time I was beyond peeved at how long it took to get my rice bowl out with 3 sushi chefs working and only one other table in the restaurant. I stayed and did work while eating and some guy who came after me waited a really long time for his takeout. I saw his patience wavering at the end. Just a tip, don’t try to do some work during your lunch break, because it takes a long time to get your food, forever to get the free WiFi(you have to sign up), and then the Internet is super slow. Bad idea overall. On to the food, I’m not too crazy about their rolls. My boyfriend likes them, but he likes Americanized type sushi rolls to begin with so I see why. I don’t mind but I’ve had better«shrimp tempura» roll types elsewhere for the same price(and sometimes larger rolls). I find it to be a better value to get a rice bowl, because it is much more filling. However, you only get one protien in a custom bowl and to add another it is $ 2.50(crazy!). Lol but I do it anyways. That being said with two protiens(tuna and salmon), you are still not getting a lot. At other places I’ve been to, the rice is covered with fish and vegetables. It is definitely not at this place. This place is not bad, but just overhyped and overpriced.

I spotted this place yesterday when I stopped in to Starbucks. I popped in to check it out and grab a menu. They have a special: 3 rolls for $ 12 M — F and all day Sunday. Not having any plans for dinner tonight, I decided to give it a try. Their concept is that you can customize your sushi rolls, choosing the protein, veggies, sauces and toppings. They also offer a variety of signature rolls, hand rolls, bowls, noodles and stuffed avocado. Not wanting to make any decisions, I ordered three rolls from their signature menu. Beefinator, Slammin’ Salmon and Crazy Cajun Rolls. Although they were all tasty, nothing was really amazing. The Slammin’ Salmon was probably my favorite. I felt that even with the 3 for $ 12 special, they were overpriced for the amount of sushi that you get. They offer beer and wine and have a soda station with a variety of options. The restaurant was very clean. Service was quick. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking in this shopping center can be tough during the peak hours, but additional parking is available in the back. They offer free wi-fi, you just need to register first. My order came out so quickly, I didn’t get a chance to register, so I can’t comment on the process. I’ll probably return to try some of their other options.

How do you roll? EXTRAEXTRAEXTRA spicy please. Every time I come to this place, I leave with a full tummy and a smile on my face. Love the concept of making my own roll, How do you like? MYWAY! I add, I take away, I have my roll however I want and that makes me happy. Let me tell you about their ceviche, OMG you have to try it, its a must. Perfectly made with a side of pita chips, the perfect crunch and only $ 4 you’re not going to find that anywhere else. If you’re in the Sawgrass area you have to stop by!

Let me tell you, I like the concept. It’s the real have it your way. So your in the mood for sushi but you don’t want to have what on the menu? Wished man… Can’t I just make my own roll the way I want it? How about a bowl? «looks at the menu» Aww man no brown rice!!! Well not here. You can create your own bowl, add whatever you would like. Beef, shrimp, chicken add veggies such as avocado, cucumber, carrots, the works. The rolls are the same, you can make them with brown rice, white rice and add just about anything you like. They have great hospitality and customer service, the roll prep person has gone to us several times to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The prices are reasonable. Just bare in mind, the more you add the higher the cost. They also serve wine from what I see or beer. After you order they give you a number and they will bring the food to you. The location is prime but it can get busy during the lunch rush. I enjoy the meals here and since it close to my job I am able to enjoy my food and relax in the process.

I am so impressed by this affordable, trendy, Pei-Wei style sushi restaurant. I work just down the street and have gone here every weekend for lunch since they opened. Our grooming salon is probably their most frequent clientele! Okay, first off, the most expensive roll here is like $ 5. This is insane for sushi. The 3-alarm roll is one of my favorite of any sushi restaurant ever. The sunrise roll is another favorite of mine. These two rolls, with a fancy Japanese Ramune drink comes out to $ 12 including tax. Really can’t beat it for quality sushi. The salmon bowl is to die for as well– really wonderful! And for only ~500 calories it will fill you up for the entire day(or maybe I am just usually a light eater?) I am awarding this place 5 stars for their food quality, interesting variety, kindness of staff, and incredible prices. Can’t think of a reason why you shouldn’t stop on by!

Hmmmm, where to begin… Things I Appreciated: * The speed — I was rushing to the airport and really needed a quick spot to grab lunch with the bf * Create your own roll — nice concept, some nice ingredients I don’t usually see, however I’m pretty sure my local sushi spot would be more than happy to invent any roll I could dream up * The price — when we were there it was some sort of $ 5 roll special and this I enjoyed * The service — food was brought out quickly and and plates were cleared even quicker * The sauces — yes these were good, but I’m also going to have to mention them on the things I didn’t appreciate list Things I Appreciated Less: * The sauces — they really covered up and hide the taste of anything else in my roll * The size — rolls were small, like really small Don’t get me wrong, I’d definitely go back if I was in a rush for a quick meal… but HDYR wouldn’t be my first choice for sushi, or any food for that matter.

I first heard about this chain just as many others had… my beloved«shark tank». Sadly, my pallet does not agree with seafood so I was thrilled at the idea of a place where I could go with my friends and family to enjoy standard sushi along with unconventional sushi for myself. I had been looking online for confirmation that they had finally opened since the date kept getting pushed back. Finally after months of patience they opened and they were worth the wait. the food is tasty and affordable… my favorite combo! I went with my sister And we sampled the Beefinator, dumplings, the 3 alarm, and the desert by the roll… all very delicious. To date we have make the journey from Hollywood three times just to eat here and have never been disappointed!

Excited to go hear after seeing the concept on Shark Tank. Couldn’t pass the opportunity to go on the Grand Opening and get rolls for $ 3. Cant’ beat that! We got there around noon and restaurant was mostly filled. Black t shirts were hung on every chair, and they said we could take them home if we wanted. Fun magnets, kids cup… we had official loot coming home. We ordered 7 rolls(yeah, 7…$ 3 each, why not?). And I have to say, most were yum. The décor is very hip. I liked it. By the time we left(around 1) the line was out the door. So why not 5 stars. Well 5 stars has to blow my mind. This was a 4.5 star place which imo is great. You are not going to go hear for price alone(rolls generally capped at out $ 7 unless you make your own) but more for a quick in and out that has fresh sushi. ‘Regular’ sushi places are generally the same cost yet you have waitress service(and the tip along with it). If one was closer to me in Coral Springs, I probably would hit it more. Driving to Sunrise just for this, probably not. But I wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

I saw HDYR on Shark Tank a season or 2 ago… and I wanted to try it. Unfortunately I didn’t see any down in South Florida… till now! I saw it on my Unilocal App and even though it hadn’t been reviewed yet, I thought we would give it a go — even if they made a deal with my least favorite shark — Mr. Wonderful. Came in literally a day after they opened and I was SO impressed they didn’t have many kinks to work out. I know, it’s a chain… but still, they should have growing pains like everyone else, but this was flawless. The coveted 5 star rating is heavily influenced by the stellar customer service(I am a Miami native, so I will grade customer service for a while, until I get used to the fact you are SUPPOSED to be given good customers service. So far BPB has impressed!) We walked in at 9:02 — yea, I noticed the sign that said they close at 9 — and I hate to be that guy, but 2 people walked in right before us and well… I was starving! The extremely nice young lady behind the counter had no problem taking our order. The concept is cool. You choose the rice, the protein, the veggies and the sauces and create your own sushi roll. They have some signature rolls and being too lazy — and tired — to create my own I went with the Mango Tango and the Philly(traditional cream cheese rolls) Both were excellent! I have never had mango on my sushi… tasted great! The wife had a salad with chicken that came with a nice sauce… I dipped my sushi in the left over sauce… WOW! Not only did we keep them open late — by the way, 3 people came in AFTER us and they still took their ordered — but they APOLOGIZED for taking so long. WHAT?! apologize to me for keeping you open longer? No way! I said I was sorry to keep them open longer and appreciated them staying open to take my order. With prices from $ 4 — $ 9 per roll… I see many quick lunches here in my future!
