So I am a little conflicted as to what star rating to give to this place. I have been here a number of times and love the food as it is normally pretty good. However, on my last visit on(1÷28÷2016), I got really embarrassingly sick at work within 30 minutes of having the shrimp pad thai for lunch. I know it was the food since I was fine before and only got sick after eating it(Unknown to me at the time, another co-worker apparently got sick from food there the week before). If I had followed my normal rule to check the Florida Department of Hotel and Safety Inspection reports, I probably could have saved myself some pain and embarrassment as their 1÷20÷2015 inspection raised some questions about food handling. So that said. I think I am going to retire this one from my list of places. Vomitting like you are dying in your officeat work is NOT cute.

Delicious food. Was in the mood for sushi and Thai and what a great place to go for both. Service was very nice and food was very prompt. I will definitely be here again!!! So far my favorite place for Thai and sushi. Not to mention that I have some left overs for tomorrow. Yummy!!!

I have been coming to this place for at least 15+ years. And it has been incredible since day one. The inner décor is beautiful and the staff has always been so friendly. I always get the Tom Kha soup and Panang curry. I know I should try more things but those two just never ever get old, they are phenomenal. Their Namsod salad is very popular with my parents, who have gotten that for as long as I can remember. The chicken satay is incredible and their doughnuts are an absolute must. This is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants, and for very good reasons. No doubt you’ll love it just as much.

I’d like to give this restaurant 3.5 stars instead of just 3. The food was good but not above average. The service was very good. I like the fact that the waitress was able to modify plates and that she was knowledgeable about the preparation and ingredients. I went with someone that had no complaints about the food or service. They also have a sushi bar which I didn’t try for a better variety. I found the prices to be very reasonable. I feel this is a solid choice for Thai.

Best Thai food in Broward. Great menu, fantastic service, reasonable prices. You can’t go wrong with their Thai food or sushi. Most of wait staff has been there for decades. Service and food are amazing.

Don’t let the location deter you. It’s a Plantation landmark. For over 25 years they’ve been serving authentic Thai dishes full of flavor! Family owned and operated by the same owners the whole time! Service is efficient and friendly, Nan is our favorite! Food is delicious and the prices are more than reasonable! The décor is classy and gorgeous, real orchids adorn the walls and tabletops. We have loved everything we have tried so far! We love coming for lunch as it’s so delicious and you get soup with your meal. Today I had the panang chicken with fried rice, a delicious lunch that makes me want to come back for dinner!

Ordered take out from here, very good food, definitely will eat there again. It’s not the best Thai food in Broward but it’s not too bad given whats available in Plantation.

Blah… there are better Thai restaurants in the area. This one is not horrible, but I will only go there if the people I am eating with insist. They call their pud thai«famous»… not even close. One time I had their sushi(take out) and it was soooo amazing, the other time I threw it away it was so bad.

Overall good food & sushi at a reasonable price compared to its comp set(other Thai restaurants) … It has a relaxing vibe w/a tv at the sushi bar. I will be back for sure!

I have tried this place before years ago and wasn’t impressed, so I decided to give it a shot again. First off the service was very good .I had the Panang Curry Chicken and my friend had the Thai Basil and for appetizer we had Chicken Satay. Now each thai restaurant has their own style, I get that, but there is still structure in the recipe and unfortunately there isn’t any here. The sauce is so thin you can tell that they water it down instead of using the coconut milk straight. You can see by the pictures I have uploaded. They do have potential, but it’s like they don’t put enough love into the sauce. The Thai Basil doesn’t even taste like thai basil at all. The Panang Curry Chicken was ok and the chicken was good, but still the sauce was not even thick it was lacking more flavor. The chicken satay was good, but the peanut sauce is not made in house. I probably will not come here anymore, but I will be checking the reviews and if they are better I will revisit. Until then I will go to the best Thai Restaurant that I have been going to since I was a kid THAISPICE, it’s a little bit of a drive for me and cost a little but more money, but totally worth it.

Growing up in south Florida, there is never a shortage of a great variety of ethnic food. Thai food is probably in my top 3 favorites! I’ve been to several different Thai restaurants in the area but Thai Thai is definitely one of my favorites. They are super consistent with every one of their dishes and have super friendly staff. I will admit that they are a little more on the pricey end, but when you have a great local Thai place that has good quality food, sometimes that’s okay. I’ve actually never dined in the restaurant, I always order to go. I should probably change that! Their staff answers the phone promptly to place pick-up orders and I’ve even walked in to order on several occasions; most of the time your order takes about 20 minutes to prepare. I usually order the Pud Woosen which is the clear noodles with chicken and extra vegetables in a yummy brown sauce. Thai comfort food for me! Sometimes they are a little heavy handed with the spices. I’ve had their Thai Red Curry before also and it’s super delicious! I am definitely a returning customer and hope to have an opportunity to dine in very soon and try more of a variety of dishes!

Thai Thai Restaurant is by far one of the best Thai restaurants in Broward located in the heart of Plantation. A couple of years ago I was introduced into Thai cuisine and it has grown on me since then. This year I have been on the hunt for the best«hole in the wall» Thai restaurant i could find. Even though I am an avid Unilocaler, and I am always looking for a new spot, Thai Thai Restaurant seems to be my go to place. I found this place through Unilocal with good reviews. From the outside, it does not look appealing. As a matter of fact, this restaurant is located in a run down strip mall. I most likely would of never came here if it had not been for the reviews. The restaurant is clean on the inside but outdated. The staff are friendly and quick. I know they have a sushi bar, and I hear great things but I’ve never tried it there. Spring rolls or steamed dumplings are a must. They have all the usual sauces you could order at a Thai restaurant like, broccoli, garlic, ginger, peanut, pepper, sweet and sour, etc. I usually get the Basil Beef. It is my addiction. Thai basil leaves, bell peppers, onions, and scallions stir fried with pepper sauce, what else can a man ask for? Be prepared to share as the portions are more than generous. I usually order my dish with white rice but recently I discovered their fried rice. It is a little different than your usually Chinese fried rice, but let me tell you something, there is something about Thai fried rice that is magical to the taste buds. What is Thai food without some spice? do not forget to ask for their spice caddy that has a selection of different hot sauces and spice rubs.

This restaurant USED to be a FIVESTAR years ago. Also, they are not consistent. I have been going here since 2003. Lately, i have ordered Pad Thai and it has no flavor what so ever. I don’t even see peanuts or much of anything in it. They don’t even add egg anymore. Same for a few salads which used to be my favorite. I only eat thai food at 2 restaurants, this one and Thai Spice. I must say Thai Spice has been consistent for 18 years! The sushi is pretty good. They have amazing rolls.

It’s not easy finding good Asian food in South Florida. But Thai Thai in Plantation hits the mark! The sushi is fresh and the Thai dishes are authentic and spicy. We had Crunchy Spicy Tuna Rolls, Dragon Rolls and a few Thai curry dishes. I had Red Curry with Chicken which was fragrant and perfectly seasoned with the right amount of white chicken meat and veggies. The curry was thick and not watered down like some places serve. You can’t go wrong with the Basil Fried Rice — nice and spicy! Get on over there when you are in the Broward part of Ft. Lauderdale!

Have been dying to try this place because of the reviews. It is very convenient to the house and I love me some sushi. We have dined in and done takeout. Both were great. The restaurant is smaller than I thought inside. I love that they close between lunch and dinner. For some reason I feel like the food is fresher. We were seated immediately and greeted by a nice woman. Our waters were always filled. I had some hot green tea that was delicious. They have a decent beer selection. Miso soup and ginger salad were both great to start with. Miso was very hot and filled with tofu! The salad had lots of dressing! I had to Chirashi bowl! All the fish was very fresh and it had plenty of it! lots of rice too. Loved this. But the price was a little high. Mom had the garlic beef. The steak was so tender and came with fresh rice and some veggies. I have also had sushi roll. Even in takeout the fish was fresh and it was very filling. Again the price was a little high. I can’t wait to go back to try the curries! Im not a huge fan of traditional thai dishes because I don’t like peanut flavors. The service is great. Restaurant is clean. Food is delicious. Prices are just a little high, especially for this area. But I will be back!

Thai Thai is by far the best Thai restaurant in Broward. Located in the unassuming strip mall and from the outside it does not look like much, probably would not have even tried it if not for Unilocal and all my friends that have reviewed it. I really enjoy Thai food if it is done properly. Sari who use to own the famous«Little Lotus» in Miami spoiled us with such great Thai food. Until we came to this restaurant I thought I would never enjoy Thai again. The inside is so nicely decorated and clean. Our server was wonderful and very helpful with the full menu. They have a big selection of so many dishes. I started with a beer that was refreshing and light. My daughter ordered a dish called«Chirashi, huge platter came out beautifully decorated with around ten different selections of fish. See the picture I took. Not only beautiful everything was fresh and delicious. I had read the description for the Thai Thai Steak and so glad I ordered it. The steak was perfectly cooked to a medium rare, thin with awesome flavor. Literally the steak melted in my mouth. Very good cut of meat and I was very happy with my dish. Excellent restaurant in the neighborhood. Very good service and reasonable prices. I look forward to trying other dishes here. Take some friends, you can’t go wrong here. Only thing that could make it better would be to offer a decent wine selection. I have such a hard time not having wine with such a fabulous meal.

Came to try this place based on all the good reviews, but I was disappointed. I ordered tom yum soup, beef satay sticks, and pad thai for dinner. Tom Yum soup: I do not recommend it, very disappointing and tasted like something served in a buffet place. The soup broth had a bit too much soy sauce flavor and lacked lemon grass and chili pepper. It was sprinkled with 3 pieces of chicken and a few slices of mushroom. For $ 4.25 I expected more. Beef Satay sticks: good portion, fairly tender but could be a bit more marinated. Peanut sauce was underwhelming. Shrimp Pad Thai: tasted good, just didn’t taste like what Pad Thai should taste like. It’s much too sweet and missing the basil flavor, as well as chili pepper. Perhaps this place is the best around here, but I’ve had much better at many other cities.

I tried Thai Thai for lunch and was really looking forward to it due to all the rave reviews. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, it only has indoor seating and it is well decorated with a classy feel to it. Service was very attentive and friendly, as soon as we sat down a lady brought us a bowl of chicken macaroni soup, apparently all lunch specials are served with it. The soup was delicate, a bit bland, it was ok but nothing special. I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice with brown rice, it was a small lunch portion, it was good, I would definitely order it again, but again it didn’t blow me away either. For desert we ordered the Thai Doughnuts and they were delicious! Served with the customary side of condensed sweet milk, the doughnuts were soft and fresh, made to perfection, absolutely the highlight of our meal. Ambiance 4 stars Food 3.5 stars Service 4 stars

When Thai Thai initially opened it served Thai food only; it replaced an indonesian restaruarant called Garuda, where I frequently enjoyed workday lunches. A few years back, Thai Thai added a sushi bar. The food has been consistent through the years; the dishes are well-made. We ask for the tray of dry and wet chili to be brought to our table so I can breathe fire while Mom can tuck into a mild dish. Hubby prefers to add some chili sauce and I use the dried chili peppers. We usually get Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp to split as an appetizer — we rarely finish it all but it provides each of us with at least one large shrimp and planks of chicken breast. The sauce is rich and coats the medium width noodles, scrambled eggs, and peanuts We often get a few sushi rolls — our favs are the Red Dragon roll, a tuna topped shrimp tempura roll(Mom loves tempura) and Rainbow roll with tuna replacing the fake crab on the inside — this way everyone gets what they like! They make a very tender and tasty steak. Their menu offers a choice of proteins with different sauces(cashew, curry, sweet and sour, ginger, etc.) and often they walk around the restaurant with a large, ornate, aluminum rice container to dole out jasmine rice. The servers are usually very attentive and quick to take note of our need for more beverages, etc. So not only are the dishes beautiful — and often graced with a purple orchid — they are well presented. The owner is an avid orchid grower — years ago she’d display huge orchid plants adorned with hundreds of orchids in the lobby — seriously. Even today you’ll find fresh orchids on each table and silk ones hanging on the wood paneled walls. At night the female servers are dressed in traditional Thai garb — they are beautiful and exotic and during the day they are in black pants and tops. Today they were generous in their attention and birthday gift of free Thai donuts for Mom. They were hot and crispy and coated in warm glaze. The black and white sesame seed garnish was a nice touch. This restaurant considers all our senses — from the food, to the décor, to their attire, they seem to have us in mind!
