My kid and I visited this clinic once, and our overall experience was neither good nor too bad. I wanted to leave my impression and comments on a few things they can improve.
I was a little surprised that it was the dentist herself not a receptionist or assistant who registers patients and maintains patient files and clinic appointments, which is not wrong per se, but I just wish the dentist focused more on her patients and treatment (including creating relaxed environment and paying attention to her patients especially for those who visit there for the first time) than on paperwork. Her treatment seemed alright though it felt a little too fast.
I was also shocked by how small her Sunnyvale office is. There’s only one treatment room with one treatment chair (as far as I see). The pictures posted here are misleading. It seems that most of them were taken in her office in Belmont. Her Sunnyvale office has no special design or amenities for little kids to calm fears except the TV above the treatment chair. The walls are white or off-​white. I didn’t see books or comforting toys in the waiting area, and there was no music!
The staff were not friendly to patients – let alone to their parents.
All this together made our first dental visit feel a tad cold and stale.

I was shocked how little reviews there are for Dr. Kim and how some reviews are under rated. Almost everybody that I and my family goes to Dr. Kim for their kids and say only good things about this pediatric dentist.
And finally it was our time that my 23 month old son’s first visit to the dentist for check up. Of course my son started crying loud even he sat down and laid back with his mom. I was very impressed how Dr. Kim comforted and talked to my son while she was performing her work. Within couple minutes, miraculously (yes it was a miracle for us knowing how my son cries) he stopped crying and being very cooperative to the doctor. Wow.
The bottom line, I highly recommend Dr. Kim who is very knowledgeable, skillful, and a down-​to-​earth person. We will be back here again just like all my friends and their kids come here regular basis.

Degraded quality of service. Looks like this place is poorly managed, dentist is not focused at all, over booked, lacks some skills, instruments are not clean. They try to mislead or give false information, if you are not present for few minutes right near dental chair of kids. Looks like staff keeps changing and are probably under paid. It would be better to find more cleaner and better maintained dental center. New looks of center could be deceiving. Prefer not to waste time.

Terrible customer service! I called to make an appointment for my daughter and was blown away at how rude and arrogant their staff was to me! I will be going elsewhere for my daughter’s first visit.
Word of wisdom, don’t even bother!
