We had a mixed experience here. Our experience in the showroom was positive, the staff were friendly and helpful, they helped us find the furniture that we wanted and we made an order of reasonable size. However, we have had a very poor experience with delivery. We were required to reschedule our original delivery date(which was already about ~2 weeks after the target referenced at ordering) and told that someone would call us the next day to determine a new time. Day 2: No one has called us back, so we call the store again. Told they will look into it. Day 3: Still, no one has called us back, we call again. At this point we’re given a number to call for the warehouse instead. But, no resolution will be had this day — they apparently close at 3pm. Day 4: We call the warehouse, it is claimed there was a miscommunication on their end, they had us down as needing to call(no apologies for this were made, and how this could be the case with us calling 3 days in a row I’m not really sure). We now have another delivery date that’s at this point almost 2 weeks out, we’re looking to receive our furniture ~1 month after the estimated arrival. Reasonably disappointed overall. The showroom selection was good but the delays and interaction with the warehouse side have been poor.

Terrible. Buyer beware. We ordered an $ 8000 sectional last year. The salesperson came to our house with fabrics. Three weeks later we were told that it was not available. We got it from Flegels and it was delivered within the normal special order window. Fast forward 9 months to May 5. We purchased $ 9000 worth of patio furniture and needed one more piece. It was supposed to take 7 weeks. We have received the cushions but not the frame. It is now August 5 and the summer is almost over and they have no idea if we will ever receive the frame. Keep in mind that we have already paid $ 2k for it. Time to cancel the order and call Flegels again. When you call the store, they always refer you to the warehouse and tell you that it is closed. Therefore, no customer service. Glad I am writing this review; my next call is to AMEX to dispute my charges!

Have been searching far and wide for an extra large spark screen to cover a fire pit and have had very little success. I spoke with Marvin at Patioworld and he offered to do some research and get back in touch the next day. He stuck to his word and called me back in a timely fashion. Although he wasn’t able to source the item I’m looking for, he was extremely courteous and gracious and made a couple of recommendations on where to go next.

this place sucks, especially the workers here with their attitude. i am talking about the chinese guy that appears to be the manager. i came in and wanted to find out if they have any pergola canvas covers. the guy didnt really want to help me, so he ask if i know how to use a computer and check the canvases online myself. anyways they dont have what i am looking for. just felt like the guy didnt want to help even though the store is completely empty. oh well, i left the store so the chinese manager can go back to watching his chinese soap operas lol

Awesome joint! I was looking for some benches and tables for my yard. I wandered into this place, and was greeted by a friendly sales associate, who was knowledgeable about patio furniture. It turns out the sales associates have experience building the furniture, so they know what goes into them. The sales associate honestly told me which brand and model would fit my needs and my budget, and I love the furniture.

what can i say about this store… well if you want high quality furnitures with a good customer service this is the place you want to go. their products are high quality and top notch brands are always at stock. Did i mentioned good customer service, Of course their staff are well knowledgeable about their products. i went here to just browse and the staff are well aware greeted me and gave me a good experience for the first time coming in the store, their staff helped me and gave me full details on their products, made my experience so top notch. i will always recommend this store to all my friends and family. Id rather pay a little bit more for a high quality furniture with a good customer service.

We will never ever go to this place again. Yesterday we bought chaise lounge cushions for over $ 500. We were uncertain about the dimensions but were assured by the salesman that we could try them out and return them within 24 hours if they didn’t fit. They didn’t fit, and when my wife returned them, they balked at giving a refund. They were rude, resisted the return, and tried to extract a restocking fee. My wife said«no way» and finally after more rudeness, they gave the refund, but did not offer to help her carry the cushions back in the store.

There are a lot of places that you can find high end patio furniture. Patio World is one of them. They have been in business for 35 years and have stores all over California. They have a good selection of furniture at competitive(but still expensive) prices. IF(and I say IF) nothing goes wrong, I suppose it would be a decent place to find patio furniture. But be forewarned, if you need any after sales service, you will have a miserable experience. We had one of the chairs break while still under warranty and have spent six months(yes, 6MONTHS) without resolution. Even though all their staff is polite, they have not replaced the chair. Two and a half months ago, they told me that I needed to pay the shipping(over $ 80) to have the replacement shipped from the manufacturer. They wanted the $$ then because the replacement was ready to ship. After the early delays in this process, I contacted the manufacturer to see if I could resolve it with them directly. I reached a sympathetic regional distribution manufacturer’s representative who told me that agreement that the manufacturer had with Patio World was to handle the warranty process. Throughout this fiasco, I have been told repeatedly that the replacement was ready to ship. As a final tip, look very carefully at the construction of the furniture you select. This stuff is very expensive and a cursory inspection makes one think that it is pretty well made. But much of it has weld spots that will be under large stress and subject to breakage. If ever there was a case of «caveat emptor» this class of furniture(and Patio World) is it. Addendum: Shortly after writing this initial review, a second chair broke in exactly the same way. Instead of going through this horror story again, I dropped it off at a local welding shop in the morning and got it back fixed up good as new that same afternoon… for $ 75.

I walked in here thinking wow what a great place but I can’t give this place more than three stars because they are so darn expensive. I am surprised they are not in a wealthier area. They sell all kinds of nice patio furniture, but as soon as I saw a few of the price tags I walked out. This place is near my home and I never see any cars in the parking lot. The furniture doe’s not seem exceptional to justify the price.

We are happy with the furniture. We are very unhappy with Carlos Marques and Kristina(his salesperson associate.) When we bought the furniture(costing over $ 5,000) we also paid for delivery. When they delivered the 5 pieces, one of the tables was scratched badly on the top. When we called the store, saying it was delivered(with the delivery man standing there with us) in this condition, they told us they would order another one. 5 weeks passed and no table. When I called on August 4th, I left a message with Kristina to have Carlos call us. On August 8th, when I had not heard back from Carlos, I called again. This time, he said that the table had been discontinued and I needed to come down and pick out a different table. Two weeks later, Carlos called us back and said that he had found another table just like the scratched floor model he had sent out(which we did not purchase a floor model, consistent with what was reflected on the receipt) and we could come pick it up. We did and exchanged it for the new table. I di not appreciate the«bait and switch» attempt, the dishonesty about what we had purchased, nor whatever nonsense that was about the table being discontinued… Great furniture + lousy service

We needed a patio rug to create the impression of an «outdoor room» when staging our home for an appraisal. Nothing defines a space like an area rug. So we ventured into this store while getting the car washed at Lozano’s — way convenient! The store is set up with lots of very cool outdoor living displays. The one employee was very friendly and greeted us immediately. She seemed to know exactly what we were looking for, and directed us to it in the back room. She was willing to open up rug rolls so we could see exactly what we were getting, even though they were not on display. We spotted one and were happy with the price, too! Usually I’d order that sort of thing online, but this was fantastic in a pinch. I’m glad they had a black print, for drama. This made the backyard patio much more special. Rugs are also a great way of hiding cement cracks, small holes, or stubborn lil’ weeds, or anything else you think shows the age of the house or deferred maintenance. They also can visually enhance the appearance of cheaper outdoor furniture by giving the table and chairs a fancy platform.(Our patio furniture cost us all of $ 20.) We leave the rug out year-round. We’ll definitely go back to Patioworld the next time we get the car washed; never know what great ideas we’ll get!
