Favorite new burger place in town, or anywhere else for that matter. They grind their own meat each day after we asked the owner about the quality of the meat and the excellent taste. The beer is cold, the fries are unusual as in their twist, and the one pizza we had was much better than I expected. The tv’s on the wall are plentiful, and they are more than happy to change the channel for you if you ask. The only reason they don’t get a five from me is that on Tuesday nights they have karaōke that starts early, just not my cup of tea. When in need of a first rate burger, the Knockout is the place to come!

Cool spot! Nice and big with lots of tv’s and plenty of seating. I give 3 stars for the setup and service. Minus 2 stars for the pizza it lacked both taste and pizazz. It was plain and un flavorful the crust taste like flour. Had better frozen crust and think«Little Caesars» might taste better. Suggest to try the rice crispy prawns($ 9 for 5) or fries w bacon, cheese, sour cream. Overall — I recommend this place to watch sports or hang out. Just don’t order pizza and ruin your appetite.

This is a great place to come and hang and a great place to bring a date for that great fun vibe. NO one wants a date that seems like an interview anyways. Man the pizzas here are really good. They are a lot better then you’d think from the description. I like the rich thickness in the pizza. The red wine is really really good. This is a great place to watch sports too, specifically ufc fights. They have at least 16TV’s. They have two pool tables, excellent shape. They have Tons of pinball machines, great stools to sit on. The place is very spacious. The staff is friendly and have great customer service. I love how attentive they are. I like how there’s a breathalyzer machine in case you’re not sure if you should drive or not. It costs a dollar in quarters but it sure is cheaper then a dui is.

I’ve been here twice this week and both times were amazing! Kelly was our waitress on both occasions and I have nothing short of amazing things to say about her. She is unbelievably kind and attentive! We are here for business and she had no problem splitting checks and catering to our individual needs. The food was amazing both times. The first time I had the Notorious Salad with steak and the second, the Cigano(pasta with salmon). Best of all was the calamari. It comes with grilled jalepenos, onions and a delicious dipping sauce to go with it. It’s a great place to enjoy any sports game as there are a TON of flat screens to view from every angle. I absolutely recommend coming here and get Kelly if you can!

We dropped in here for the first time last evening thanks to a recommendation from Google, and it was a rather pleasant experience. When we walked in about an hour from close, the place was empty. I was, to be honest, a tad worried, thinking — «Wait, its friday night, and there is no one around?», but those thoughts were quickly put to rest after visiting the mens room which looked well used. The service and the menu, while limited, was amazing. Our host was gracious and prompt. They had a limited selection of Beers on Tap,(5 – 6, but I could be wrong, nonetheless) there was a decent collection of other drinks as well. The food menu was limited, but that was good, because the pizza and the all american burger ware just fantaboulous. The pizza had the stringiest cheese that I’ve had in a while, with a good balance of sauce(not overwhelming) and cheese(dollops of it) the pizza was hot and crunchy on the outside. Overall, I would go so far as ranking this as one of my top 10 pizza places. I am curious to try the other toppings they offer on the Pizzas. The all american was well done, as I had asked for, and it came with cheese and bacon with a spicy sauce on the side. The interesting twist was that it came in a Ciabatta roll. The texture contrast between the patti and the bread was interesting and it made it unique in its own way. Will I go back again, yes, will I recommend this to friends — yes. Ratings 1. Food — 4.5÷5 2. Hygiene– 3.5÷5 3. Value for Money — 4⁄5 4. Visit again — 5⁄5 5. Recommend to Friend — 5⁄5

I came back to try it again and I was impressed. I got one of the last tables for game 4. Service was on point, our server reminded us about happy hour ending in just a couple of minutes so we were able to order 3. yes that’s right.3 pitchers of beer for our group of 4 in the nick of time. Food was good. I still need to come back for a UFC fight to get a full comparison, but I am sure they got it together.

We came here for the Warriors game, so it was super crowded, as expected. I ordered the TKO Fries and a Wonderboy. The sandwich came out after a few minutes, but we had to wait about 40 minutes before they brought us the wrong fries. Normally that would be fine, but my friend cannot eat sour cream. It took another 50 minutes to bring us the correct order. During all this time, we saw about five or six other orders of fries going out to other tables. As for the food quality, the chicken was slightly overcooked, and somewhat bland, but the fries were actually super tasty. The atmosphere was a bit bright for my tastes. It was also extremely loud inside. The ceiling just doesn’t absorb much sound. I like the enthusiastic crowd, but it was painful to my ears. My friend and I could barely hear each other. Also, they only have two single-occupancy bathrooms here for the entire place, so don’t be surprised if you have to wait in line. When it came time to pay, we split the bill two-ways. But their recommended tip amounts still showed percentages for the combined total. Anyone who isn’t paying attention might inadvertently pay double tip. Over all, I did have fun here with my buddy, but I really can’t recommend this place. The good points just don’t offset the horrible service.

I have been here a few times and figure I would give my two cents. First time going it was still fairly new so didn’t know what to expect. The menu in my opinion is simple, but has a decent selection. We ordered the ko fries, some sliders and a pizza. Very good. The beer selection is also on point. When will you guys start serving liquor?! I have been here a few times after for a ufc fight night and a warriors game. The Warriors game was packed since it was the last game of the season, but we were able to snag a table. If you’re looking for a decent spot to catch a game, I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone!

Great sports bar & grill. Decent beer selection but I was bummed they didn’t have any cider on tap. They have bottles of angry orchard but come on. that stuff is gross. Really great food. There were way more options on the vegetarian/flexitarian spectrum than I would have expected. Ended up going for the salmon pasta which was just as great as everyone else in the Unilocal reviews has mentioned. Will likely try the portabella burger next time. Delicious fries. Like, really perfect fries. Our server was a really cool dude who knew just when to check on us and just when to leave us be while we watched the game. He also checked in with us a few minutes before happy hour ended to refresh our drinks while they were still on special — score! Overall a nice place to head out to watch a game. We will definitely be back.

This is quite possibly the worst sports bar ever! Definitely don’t come here on a game night, like tonight. It took us almost 30 min just to get our drinks and 40+ to get our food. We ordered the«preachers daughter» and what a rip off! 5 shrimp for $ 9?!? Are you kidding me. The calamari or «rowdy» as they call it is lackluster and over breaded. Took is another 45+ min just to get our water refilled. Never coming back

I’ve been coming here quite often the past month. My usual go to is Smokeeaters in mercado but knockout had a Groupon so I just had to… The first two times I’ve came here, the food was soooo good. Everything came out in a timely manner and everything tasted on point. I highly recommend their salmon pasta and their shrimp and pesto pizza. Minus 1 star because I was here yesterday and it was super packed for game 7 of the playoffs. Ordered two pizzas which came out pretty quickly despite how jammed packed it was. Realized the pizza dough on both of my pizzas were raw and one pizza didn’t have marinara sauce. The layer of cheese was too too thick. Idk what happened but I didn’t let our server know cuz I felt bad for how busy they were… Great place if you wanna watch games, good selection of beer and wine, good service and good food except for when they’re really busy. Quality over quantity. Take your time to execute great dishes.

I never leave reviews on Unilocal but this place is amazing. Do not let the outside fool you, it is a hidden gem. Inside the building is newly renovated and very clean. The staff are super friendly and our server kept serving us water during the hockey game even after we stopped ordering(props to her). The food also has a great modern twist on bar good. The magician sliders and the cowboy pizza are a must try. There are several things on that menu I haven’t tried and I am excited to go back to try. Overall if you don’t mind going to an oddly located place for great food, great service, and a great atmosphere then this is your place

«This is our new go to spot» was a phrase repeated through the evening as we enjoyed beers, fries, calamari, and the Warriors game. This is a big(open layout) sports bar with plenty of TVs, I think i heard 16 in all. Nice to have a place that isn’t standing room only and ridiculously crowded(The Brit). Happy Hour ended at 6pm and we grabbed beers, the calamari, beef sliders, and these epic cheesy fries. We couldn’t have been happier with the dishes. Or server was awesome, very friendly and as attentive as could be expected given the amount of people that were there. We hope this place stays open for a long time!

Food’s really, really good, especially the burgers, so you should just stay away. Happy Hour is a good deal, couple bucks off appetizers and beers on weekdays. Get the KO fries and some sliders from the appetizer menu. Yum! They also have a good kids’ menu, includes a ginormous warmed up chocolate chip cookie. Huge. HH is 3 to 6 pm. If you think the strip mall this is in is too sketch, you should just stay away. Yeah it’s a strip mall where some of the businesses keep getting replaced, but it’s just on the old side. More burgers for meeeee! Karaōke on Tuesday nights. The service is really nice and friendly. Sometimes slow though. Some inexperienced servers. Hopefully this part will improve with time and experience. Almost think they should try the same set up as St. John’s where there isn’t table service. Give me a number and a buzzer and I’ll gladly go grab my food as soon as it’s ready. Maybe some sort of hybrid where we can at least get table service for drinks? Or like the set up at Country Gourmet… yes, do that! Semi-self-service. That’d work great. Kidding about staying away. You should come here and eat and drink. Keep local small businesses alive and well! The food and beer are really good, from the burgers to the salads. Really fresh ingredients. Hamburger patties like homemade. Not pre-formed and frozen like some other restaurants. But if you seriously think this strip mall is too sketch, you for sure should just stay away. NO food for YOU! Sounds like this place gets packed sometimes during certain games. Not my cup-o-tea, but if that floats your boat, expect crowds and things that may come along with that like waiting for a table or food coming out slower.

I am going to give this place 2 stars and the only reason is because the knockout fries, and the All American burger were pretty good. However that is the only thing good about this place. We went here for the UFC fight on March 6th and boy was it a disappointment. First they only had 2 tvs that could show the fight. Second we only got to watch the first womens fight. Their stream or you tube pay per view went down. It was horrible, you would think you would purchase the fight via pay per view. I am sorry to say but I will never come back to this establishment. It is a shame it is a nice wide open restaurant and bay, however with the name knockout it got knocked out.

I’m not gonna lie, Knockout exceeded my expectations! I ordered Cowboy’s pizza(10-inch pizza, only $ 9.00?!) and a burger(I forgot what it’s called, sorry, but it was the second one), and they were soooo good. You guys had an opportunity on Saturday to keep your customers and gain some new regulars… however…you decided to save a couple of bucks by streaming the UFC fight. Come on! This placed was packed and they showed the UFC fight on only two screens, to make it worse, their internet was lagging so their attempt to stream this fight was a big failure. We ended up leaving after 30 minutes. The food was good, beer selection was mediocre. Service sucked because due to another amateur move, they were understaffed for fight night! I really hope they learn from this and get it together. They’ve got potential. Once this happens I will be happy to come back and update my review.

We went on a Thursday afternoon for Happy Hour. This place is amazing! Tucked away in a strip mall, you would easily pass right by it, not realizing what is inside. The space is very large, with plenty of room for large groups and small gatherings. TVs are everywhere you look. I believe they said it opened in late 2015. The staff is very friendly, and service is swift. The Happy Hour service(3pm-6pm) is one of the best in the area. $ 2 off all Beer, Wine, and Appetizers. That means at current prices, draft beers are $ 4, bottles are $ 3, the selection is good, and the food is affordable! Great place to gather with friends or coworkers for the afternoon.

My wife and I spent the better part of dinner discussing whether this was a 4 or a 5 and she finally convinced me — 5* it is. I struggled because when I think of as good as it gets in a pub, I’m thinking of all the high end gastropubs we used to go to in London.(If you are out there try Albion, Cadogan Arms or Thomas Cubitt) But — she is right. They are really a different category altogether and this is as good as it gets for a Sports Bar. The burgers were super flavorful. Loved the fries! Ribs were tasty. Wings were super crispy. Pizza was solid(but could be better). Prices were super reasonable too so you really feel you are getting value. And what pushed it over the edge to 5? Service was top notch! So attentive and so kind. Not at all what you expect from a self-styled KO sports bar!

Was looking for a restaurant with big portions and good prices; KnockOut Sports Bar fit the bill. We tried the The Answer(lemon-pepper chicken wings), The Preacher’s Daughter(rice krispy coated shrimp), Ruthless Burger, K.O. Fries, and The Bones(baby back ribs). Everything was flavorful and satisfying. Service was impeccable, however we did come between lunch and dinner hours and there were only about 4 other parties, but the waitress was very accommodating. Very clean interior with lots of tables. TV screens everywhere so I’d really consider this place next time I want to watch«the big game». Happy Hour is 3−6pm Mon-Fri.

This review is regarding my experience here watching UFC fights. A star for a clean establishment and decent food. The staff was friendly as well. 2 TVs with no sound for the first match for an entire restaurant of people? Bad. Streaming the fights over open Wi-Fi so it pauses up during the second fight? Bad. Asking customers to turn off Wi-Fi on their phones? Seriously?! Not having change so my friends and I can’t split our bill and then asking me to go to the liquor store? Bad. The guy at the table next to us waited an hour to get his small pizza. We never got a portion of our order or a drink. Really bad. Get a projector and run some darn cables! Since my friends and I are huge UFC fans, I’ll keep my eye on this place for more positive reviews at future events. Until then we’ll be eating elsewhere.

The food was good for the price. Limited menu. Beer and wine only but they had good options. Okay, so, this place is called Knock Out. We came here for UFC189. Again This place is called«knockout» you would think the fight would be a high priority. They played the fights on 2 of 16 TVs. But when they played the fights they streamed it, from YouTube… it kept lagging. We ended up leaving. Good thing my buddy lives close. The place over all isn’t bad. But if you’re going to brand your restaurant as a sports bar that plays fights, don’t be a cheap and stream fights from YouTube on only one eighth of your TVs. But food was good! Won’t be coming back here for fights but maybe football season.

All of the food was very good but the lack of clean dishes and skimpy salad dressing puts me at a 4 star. Once we realized that the glass of lemonade had something floating in it and lipstick on the rim almost made me want to leave but since they quickly and politely changed everything we were good to stay.

Knockout is right across the street from me, so I really wanted to like this place. So much so, that I’ve been 6 times. That’s more than enough chances to get it right… Right? Every time I’ve been(it opened back in December, if memory serves me right), it was so fucking brick cold in there, that not only would my whole party and I have to keep our coats on, but several of the servers did, too. The last time I was there, it was colder in the restaurant than it was outside, and I completely lost my appetite. How could anyone enjoy their meal if they’re freezing their asses off? C’mon now… Turn the heat on in the winter! Now, in fairness, it’s a pretty big place that’s very open and has concrete flooring, so I’m sure that attributes to the temperature… Slightly. The food makes me sad. I’ve had almost every pizza here and seriously only like the cheese and pepperoni. They have a veggie pie with garlic sauce on it, but the veggies are cut way too big to actually get cooked, so they end up being charred/burnt but almost totally raw at the same time. I’ve also had a pasta that had chicken, peppers, and cilantro which was basic as fuck, and their wings come with a sweet«Asian» sauce… Knockout, change your menu!!! 2 stars just for service.

I’ve been here twice after rush hour for lunch. Me and my co workers got here at around 1:40pm. Both times we were not greeted when entering and no one was at the host stand to seat us. One of my co workers had to go to the bar to ask them if we just sit anywhere or what? We even got our own menus at the host stand. Food takes a while to come out even tho there’s not a lot of tables. I really enjoyed their tko and ko fries! I love the pin wheel fries. Their pizza is okay and the magician sliders were decent. Prices here are decent as well. They give you 10% for checking in on Unilocal. They can definetely work on their service. I’ll update the next time I’m back.

Weirdest atmosphere I’ve ever seen in a bar. Way too bright inside, I actually squinted when walking in from outside, when it was dark out. The A/C cranked up even though it’s only 50-something outside. Super hard surfaces, tons of TVs. Not remotely cozy. Maybe it’s different when it’s busy, but when there’s few customers, it’s just kinda depressing. Good taplist, even if two of the kegs had kicked and they didn’t replace them. Food was edible but nothing special. A big fat MEH.

After finishing a late movie at Mercado, my friend and I were looking for some comfort food nearby and saw the great reviews for this place! The food is super affordable too. KnockOut is located in a(kinda sketchy) plaza, but sticks out as a spacious, trendy, clean, brand-new bar! It was a surprise that there were no customers when we came in, that it took a minute to get the attention of the waiter in the back. According to him, they were going to close up early due to the lack of customers but were super happy and welcoming! We ordered two of the most popular dishes: the KO fries and the Cowboy pizza(which has BBQ chicken, bacon, and onions). The KO fries were really unique and yummy! They are kind of like smaller versions of those potato twister/tornadoes, with the texture/seasoning of curly fries. They are drizzled in nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, chives and bacon! Yum yum! The Cowboy pizza had a nice thick crust that was a perfect balance between soft and crispy with a generous amount of toppings! The waiter was super friendly and happy to give us suggestions, as well as redeem our Unilocal checkin offer of 10% off the bill. Don’t judge a place by the plaza it’s in. This place must be hopping on Bay Area sports nights! If not, it should!

Wings!!! There’s just a hand few of places I rave about wings and this place is it! Just enough crisp to them and plenty of different sauces to go with. Habanero and the jalapeño ones were my favorite! KO fries! AMAZING. Burgers. I didn’t try them but my friends that ordered them said they were soooo soooo good. I mean they looked big too. This place definitely knows what they’re doing and they also have yummy beers on tap. First time at knock out. Very nice interior. Everything is clean and welcoming. Staff are very friendly. Would be a great place to hang out and watch the game. I ordered the KO fries. It was definitely enough for 3 people and really tasty. The beer selection is basic. Bud light and a couple craft beer choices. Awesome happy hour prices. $ 4 a pint. Fantastic sports bar all around. Very clean, with great views of the game and one of the best menus I’ve seen for sports bars in food quality and price. Knockout scored a 5 star KO on me. Beer’s standard fair from what I can tell, lots of standards are on tap. I had a Shock Top, friend had Angry Orchard. We gucci. Appetizers were straight up phenomenal. The KO fries are hyped for good reason. A larger twisted fry, with that consistent curve yet still crispy is unlike any fry I’ve had before. Then you have dope cheese sauce and coarsely broken bacon strips for that savory punch. And their Rowdy is a fresh take on fried chicken — the Rice Krispies batter really makes it light. I got the Cigano which I was happy with. Had a sizable, moist piece of salmon on a generous portion of pasta. My friend got their take on the cheesesteak, which was a good portion of sliced flank steak on ciabatta. Shout out to Jake for being a bro with us the entire time. Easily the best experience I’ve had in Bay Area sports bars, and will definitely be back for the next big game.

If our server wasn’t so rude and completely uninformed, I would be giving more stars. Came in with a big group at 11:30 and the place was pretty dead. We got our drinks relatively quickly and our orders taken without issue. We started getting our food in about 20 minutes and all was well. Then our waitress neglected to bring back refilled drinks. We had a debate over some sauces. Whoever got the jalapeño burger got an awesome dipping sauce. I asked for a side of this sauce, and got a totally different sauce. I was told this was the sauce, but it wasn’t, it was absolutley different. They brought me a different sauce, still not right. I took side by side pictures and the sauces were totally different. Our poor waitress just got fed up and never solved the sauce issue, so whatever. Apparently the burgers were pretty good and so was the pizza. I got a pizza without meat and it was pretty boring. I wish they had a build your own, I’d be stoked with that. Other vegetarian offerings were paltry. If you’re okay with just salad and portabello mushroom patties, you’ll be good. Took at least 30 minutes to get the check figured out and another 20 to get my credit card back. Waitress was downright rude when I tried to use the 10% off coupon. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Great neighborhood sports bar. Very large, pool tables, big TV’s, what else could you ask for? They have a decent selection of beers and wine here(no cocktails). They also have great food at a cheap price. The bbq chicken pizza was fantastic and was loaded with toppings. Also tried their loaded fries(really bad with names btw, all the dishes were named after fighters), they were great! Tons of bacon on top, delicious! The place also has a lot of parking which is a big plus for me. Overall a great place to come after a long work week to just unwind and relax!

My best friend and I came here to watch one of the play off NFL games. We chose this spot because it had really good reviews on both the food and the vibe. My Initial thoughts: — clean — over 20 big screen Tvs — 2 pool tables –affordable menu — cute bar area Once seated; –Fairly decent service(it was good for us, but some man next to us was raising his hand for 15 minutes without any servers noticing) — it was really loud as people started to get there. I couldn’t hear my friend who was talking across the table. — the food was bomb! .We got a burger and pizza… But later that night both my friend and I got really bad stomach aches! We ordered 2 different things, so … We forgot to use the 10% off. I don’t think I will ever go back to this place, despite my initial thoughts:/ unless someone was having a gathering there.
