Peter’s Impressions

My mom went for a last minute trim (pixie cut) and Christina was awesome. She was so friendly and knowledgable and gave my mom one of the best cuts she’s had in a while! We were worried that with my moms thin hair, Christina might be cutting too much off. But my moms hair hasn’t looked better! It looks and feels so full; we’ll definitely be coming back.

I have been going to this salon for over 25 years since high school. Always courteous staff and Christina is a miracle worker when it comes to hair! She is super professional and always has a smile! She has an amazing personality and a knack for solving all hair problems! Be sure to ask for her!

I have been going here since I have been able to sit up. Peter has been a kind and talkative hair stylist, and, yes, although the store is dated, the staff is friendly and comfortable. Christina styled my hair for prom and Peter dyed by jet black hair with red highlights with my mom’s blessing since she knew my hair wouldn’t fall out after his care. I am well overdue for another haircut and will probably go there in a week or so.

I have been getting my hair cut by Kiwi for nearly 3 years! I met her after doing some online research and found she used to have a salon which had great ratings and people seemed to really love her. Somehow, I found her phone number and called. She is at Peter’s now and she is fantastic!!! She always picks up the phone when I call, she is quick to schedule an appointment and make your schedule work with hers, and he gives a great haircut! Went in there today and Peter did a great job cutting my hair. One of the most thorough cuts I’ve had in a long time. He was also incredibly nice. I have thin hair, which some people just buzz or go too quickly with and he really took his time and did a great job. A great place for a guy’s hair cut and very affordable for the quality of the cut.

I just got home from there. And I loved it :) Christina did my hair. She cut it and blow dried. Very nice staff and fast service.

I won’t go anywhere else for a wash/​cut/​blow dry. Peter is the best. I have a lot of hair, and it frizzes in no time, and Peter has been the only person who can get my hair pin straight. I’ve never had Christina style my hair, just always had Peter do it since I first went there about 15 years ago, but I know many people love her as well. She’s a lot of fun too. You can get a much better job done here than the insanely overpriced hair salons in NYC. I moved away and still only go to Peter. I always get compliments on my hair after a cut too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I just got a haircut done today by the owner Peter and it was truely exceptional. The previous cut I had grown out but no longer retained it’s original shape, leaving me with piecey thin-​looking hair. Peter gave me a free consultation when I first walked into the salon weeks ago and immediately noticed the problem. He suggested that I get a cut that would blend the layers into a more cohesive look. I came in today and he took me right away-​no waiting. I showed him a photo of what I was looking for and he was able to grab the idea I was looking for. Then he cut my hair-​which he took a long time at. I appreciated that because he took the time out to really look at my hair’s texture, and length to give me a proper cut. When he was done he blew it out straight and I only paid $ 32! Which is really great considering how much I’ve spent else-​where. I really recommend this place that is conveniently located in the neighborhood. It might not be trendy or fancy and the place looks like it stepped out of the eighties but you get a great job done.
