First you have to take this for what it is — one of your typical Russian/​Uzbeki no frills barber shop that you find all over Queens — nothing fancy, but an ehh fade and a fair price ($ 10). I went in really just for a quick fade since i’m trying to grow out my top –and i wasn’t trying to wait 30 minutes anywhere nor spend $ 15 (which is what I usually doing). Anyway, I told him just a fade and he said that i need to trim the top — we went back and forth until gave in — in the end he actually did a decent job although it was a VERY traditional looking cut. So if you are looking for a quick, inexpensive cut — this is probably a good choice — but then again there are so many other options in the area…
