Rice Asian House & Sushi Bar

We just happened on rice asian house for dinner.
My husband ordered Mongolian beef, chicken fried rice and steamed dumplings
I ordered house salad with the ginger dressing, a spicy tuna roll and a yellowtail hand roll
We wound up sharing everything
The ginger dressing is the best I’ve ever had. My husband licked hi plate of Mongolianbeef.
Wow what I great meal
We will definitely return
And the service is pleasant and efficient

Closed by health department !! I can not believe this. The food has always been very tasty and very good-​Not going back so quick to eat somewhere that the health department has shut down

My husband is traveling to the Jewelry and Antiques show and I wanted to surprise him with a dinner. When I called the person who said he is the manager answered, I told him that my husband is on a business trip and I would liked to order him dinner. He refused me the order. I said that the eventhought this will be a surprise, the names are the same as the signature on the credit card, he refused, he was disgusting and would not budge nor understand. I am super disappointed. We travel to Miami for business very often. Regardless of how I tried to explain to IWAN the circumstance, he refused my business. I will make sure to contact the Commerce and Business Bureu. This is NOT how you treat people. Dispicable.

I never wrote any reviews, but this place is really great! Service 5 star, food — 5 star, interior — 2 star. Don’t get me wrong nothing bad, but for the quality of food and service the place looks too cheap and regular. Crispy duck in garlic sauce was best dish I ever had in Japanese/​Thai places so far. And sushi was great too! My GF enjoyed them!

The sushi is very fresh and good, and the dishes are delicious. Warning: If you ask for spicy… you will get… SPICY. My mouth was ON FIRE and I have a high tolerance for foods that pack a kick. I tried several rolls, the fried calamari (skip it), Asian steak (YES!), crispy duck (YES!), seafood platter (YES!), and tofu in garlic sauce (YES!). The prices are good too and the wait staff is very friendly… just a little incompetent. Let me explain:
When my party of 8 was seated, the waitress said to us to get her when we wanted to order. Um, isn’t she supposed to come to us? Then, after we ordered, we still didn’t get any utensils until AFTER the appetizers came. When they brought us utensils and plates, they handed a stack of plates to the head of the table and had everyone take one down and pass it around, same goes for the forks, knives, and chopsticks. When they were cleaning up the table after we ate, it was the same process… pass THEM the dirty dishes. What? I’m going to try and dismiss this poor service since it was Christmas day and the restaurant was very busy, but still… bad service is bad service. At least the food was good.

Good but not that wow like the reviews say it was. I didn’t like the Chicken noodle soup, it was like drinking water from the toilet. The fried rice was Ok. Like i said, the place is ok.

So when I googled «Thai restaurant near me» this was what popped up. I honestly still thought it was another restaurant as I navigated there. I contemplated driving away as I got there, something kept whispering in my head saying this is not a Thai restaurant — LOL! Since I was so hungry, I decided to pick up my order which was chicken fried rice.
I dived right into it as soon as soon as I got home. It was unbelievably good!!!
Ok so I thought that was the hunger speaking for me, waited another 2 weeks and placed this same order. This time I was sure of what restaurant I was heading to.
I not only placed one order but 2-​LOL. (An order of chicken fried rice and another order of shrimp fried rice). My order was ready as I got there. I must say… It was just as unbelievable good as the first time I had it

Sushi is good (⁴⁄₅). Service is ³⁄₅. Ambience is ⁴⁄₅. Family friendly. If you are looking for a quiet place to take a family out for good, but not great, sushi, and listen to top 40 music from overhead speakers, this is a good place. Parking is usually available.

Very good Duck, really crispy and tender at the same time

Decent little Thai place, I’ve only come here for lunch and had the lunch specials, which are reasonably priced and come with soup.
It’s always been consistently good, service is always great, and lunch pricing is cheap. I always leave full. Parking can be tricky though, this mall gets busy.

This place totally caught me by surprise. It is in a somewhat strip mall style complex and understated from the exterior but from the moment you are greeted with friendly and prompt service and lots of smiles. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was attentive without being bothersome. We ordered three rolls: the volcano, red dragon and another delicious one that I don’t remember the name of. They were OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! The Volcano was my favorite if I had to pick. It was melt in your mouth delicious!!!

My husband and I wanted to try a Thai place close to home. To our surprise it was all Asian. The name is exactly right. We had vegetable egg roll. Amazing dragon roll. Red curry with pork. And pad Thai with chicken. Everything was hot beautifully plated and delicious. We will definitely go back.

We searched for this place on Unilocal,and, based on the reviews, decided to try it — and glad we did! Courteous staff, clean and pleasant atmosphere, and the food was awesome!
The dragon roll was our favorite — definitely worth a try. The Red curry was spot-​on with just the right amount of heat. Topped of with an Asahi beer and the meal was a winner. Definitely going back!

Have been here a few times, getting something different each time. We have never been disappointed.
Tonight our daughter and her friend were starving so we ordered edamame to start. It took a little long to get it, but it was delicious and plentiful. Both kids then got the kids sushi plate. It comes with California roll, one shrimp sashimi, two crab sashimi and one piece of cooked egg that is sweet. They serve it with grapes on a Mickey Mouse plate which the girls loved.
The husband and I shared the octopus and conch spicy salad. It was okay but not great. At $ 10 I wouldn’t order again. Also ordered the kanisu appetizer of cucumber, crab, some other ingredients and a rice vinegar sauce. This was great and I would order again. Very fresh tasting with great tang from vinegar.
For sushi we ordered the spicy tuna roll, which was perfect, and the fire scallop roll which was great. Had a great crunch to it and nice blend of ingredients.
Docking a star though because service was SLOW. Friendly and nice, but very slow.

Very accommodating as 7 of us showed up 30 mins before closing.
All the sushi was fresh and creatively displayed.
Can’t go wrong with any of the selections.

Wow wow wow, war das lecker!!! Wir hatten crispy duck mit Knoblauchsoße und den Duckcurry. Und als Vorspeise noch des Sushi Boot. Es war alles sowas von lecker, das wir am liebsten nochmal von vorne angefangen hätten, aber leider war der Bauch trotz 3 Wochen Übung in Florida schon viel zu voll. Hier kann man wirklich sowas von gut essen!!! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr sehr lecker! Wir hatten Sushi und dann ein Shrimpgericht mit dicken Nudel und einmal das rote Curry mit Hühnchen! Alles sehr lecker! Die Bedienung sehr freundlich! 5 Sterne und danke!

Fast service, fresh seafood, when you say spicy make sure you tell them mild if you can’t handle the heat. Lol The sushi was awsome. Fried Rice perfect. Pad Thai spicy (as requested) Uni was delicious. 5 stars is given. My order–

Another Spring Break dinner stop proved to be both a surprise and a delight! Being able to sit at the sushi bar and order both rolls, nigiri, and Thai food was a treat. The quality, taste, service, and portions put this place over the top. Friendly banter with the sushi chefs made for an enjoyable meal, along with an attentive and good natured waitress. The place was packed an our food came out on a timely basis. Quick water refills and frequent stops to make sure we had everything we needed was appreciated. All this an we had enough in the doggy bag for lunch the next day.
Our Pad Thai, Pad See Ewe, 3 rolls and 4 nigiri pieces all received high marks for freshness, presentation, and great flavor. Yum!

I was looking for a place to eat lunch in Sunny Isles, and I remember someone telling me about this place, so today was the day. I knew exactly where it was located, but the address is a little misleading. The entrance to the plaza is on 170 st, but the address is 17 100, so you could easily get lost trying to find it. Also, the parking in this plaza is extremely hectic. That being said, I arrived, parked and went in for lunch.
My friend who I was meeting arrived already, and ordered. I sat down and waited to order, and waited, and waited a little more. It wasn’t that busy, but it appeared our waiter was lazy. Anyways, no big deal, I was not in a hurry. He came and I ordered. I got the tofu (fried) pad thai, added extra veggies, and a salmon skin hand-​roll. The lunch also came with a miso (horny) soup. Yes, thats what I call it, a tribute to Uncle Luke.
So the salmon skin hand-​rolls came out, and they had plenty of crunch, just how I like it. They were kinda small, which was expected. Im spoiled. I expect my salmon skin handrolls to be as big as a baseball bat, but it tasted good. Pad Thai came out, as well as my friends sushi bento-​box. I always have food envy, I would have eaten that sushi bento-​box and my Pad Thai. I didnt think my Pad Thai had any extra vegetables, but apparently it did, I just had to dig deeper to find them. It looked like standard veggies, but whatever, I was hungry and didn’t want to argue. The Pad Thai was good, although I think it had a little too much fish sauce, and the size was pretty decent.
I think this place has a lot of potential. Im borderline right now between a 3 and a 4, mainly because the service was a little lackadaisical, but since the food was good and I left satisfied, Im giving them a 4. I would definitely go back, because I want to try more sushi and give them another opportunity to earn a solid 4 stars.

I’ve been here twice now and we enjoy it. The service is good. They are always nice. The first time the service was excellent, but this last time the lady wasn’t very attentive especially given there were only about 6 tables seated in the entire restaurant and there were multiple servers.
The first time I had the red curry chicken which was very good, but I still prefer the red curry at Red Thai in Hollywood.
The second time my wife and I split the spicy tuna roll, JB tempura roll and the volcano sushi. I found them to be decent. Nothing really wowed me though.
Their prices are a bit on the high side, but not unreasonable.
We will continue to come back as it’s pretty close to home.
