We have been to this location three times in the last two days and each time the service has been amazing, the food has been excellent and the price very reasonable. If you’re looking for good quality food this is your place.

This was such an amazing and cute restaurant. The atmosphere was laid back and welcoming, and the food was spectacular. We got chicken salads, butternut squash soup, hummus, kale chips, tuna, and 3 desserts which were all amazing!!! The apple tart and coconut milk ice cream is to die for! I would highly recommend trying this out if you are looking for a healthy and flavorful place with a wide selection of menu choices. We will definitely be visiting again!

Love the local fish tacos. Some of the tastiest I’ve had across the board. Delightful staff and outdoor seating option. And the dinner menu has some fantastic steamed edemame, and kale chips, which compliment before dinner drinks very well!

I’m so obsessed with the food here! So healthy & delicious. I wish there was one in NJ/NY area. Just had breakfast today & had dinner the other night. It was so good that we couldn’t resist coming back. Both times we had excellent service and ambience and the staff was so friendly and knowledgable about the menu and quality of food. We tried the breakfast quesadilla, 2 eggs w/chicken sausage, ½ chicken medi. & perv styles, spinach and my fav– the banana almond shake. It’s seriously dessert even when I asked for a half of banana & not a whole! Split it as dessert with your honey. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quality low key evening.

Always enjoy my meal at basil park. Everytime I have a visitor(about twice per month), I make sure to take them here. I eat paleo while many of my friends and family members are vegan, vegetarian, Raw, don’t eat red meat, etc. I love basil park because there is always something delicious for everyone!

This place was really close to where we were staying in Florida on vacation so we stopped in a couple of times. The staff was always pretty friendly, however, the service seemed a bit slow, and the waitstaff often seemed distracted. There were a few times where our orders were incorrect as well, which was always resolved quick and easy, but still a bit annoying. The food is really creative and most if it is pretty good. Every dish I tried had some concepts and flavors that worked really well, but those successes were offset by some elements that were less well done or just a bit too strange. All of that aside, this was by far the best cup of espresso I had on the entire trip. Their coffees and juices are fantastic.

Amazing guilt free made for foodies like us!!! If you love tasty gourmet yet good for you plates go to Basil Park in Sunny Isles. Great ambiance, modern hip décor and a great wine list!!! Make sure to order the shishito peppers and the spicy salmon wrapped in nori! Also the ½ chicken Mediterranean style and the duck and shiitake mushroom lettuce cups! Don’t leave without trying the raw chocolate pâté !!! You can thank me later!!! Waitress was also a sweetheart and always ready to help us! We are so excited since it seems pretty hard to find this quality of healthy food around town. We are coming back and doing take out also!

Love the ambience of this spot ! Its a little pricey but I enjoy the open kitchen and the variety of vegetarian dishes. One of my favorites are the curry lentils! I also ordered the ahi tuna which was delicious with their homemade siracha sauce! We also ordered the hummus which was yummy as they sprinkled in some real garbanzo beans and cucumber in the dish.

Man! I really wanted to like this place. But sadly did not :( Two friends said it was good and with so many great Unilocal reviews I was excited to finally try it on a beautiful Saturday afternoon with two girlfriends. We each started out with a wheatgrass shot and mine was supposed to be with ginger and lemon, but I didn’t taste the lemon at all, so that was disappointing. Then I ordered the local fish tacos which were ok, no flavor at all, and green papaya salad which was not great either. The only reason why it gave it the 3 stars was for the dairy free banana split one of my friends and I shared. Oh and our server was too rushed and pushy.

For the most part this place is excellent. Though I did have a bad experience one time when I came in for breakfast, my food came out completely burnt and I told the server and she’s like ok I’ll let them know and gave me a check. I was like ok… I paid and left because I was probably too hung over to deal with it.

I came here today for a late breakfast with a friend and we enjoyed the food so much, it was consumed before photos could be taken and uploaded! My friend had been here before for dinner and was interested in trying brunch. We arrived early to avoid any Sunday brunch crowds(around 10:30) and it was only about ¼ full. We were seated right away inside the lovely modern and clean dining room. I have an empty fridge right now and had only consumed some leftover Easter candy the day before, so I was starving! We ordered the veggie omelette with a side of the crispy potato pancake and an American coffee(moi) and the blueberry pancakes with a spicy chicken sausage and a cappuccino(friend). The omelette was light, fluffy and filled with veggies(portabello mushrooms, asparagus and onions) with a very light layer of cheddar cheese. This amount of cheese worked for me because I think I am the only person in the US who doesn’t really like cheese, particularly cheddar! The eggs came with an undisclosed side of sweet potato hash; had I known that, i would not have ordered the potato pancake, but regardless, both potato sides were delicious! I did not care for the coffee. I sampled the blueberry pancakes and thought they were a little dense and dry, but my friend enjoyed. The service was friendly and while the food came quickly, we did not feel rushed to get out of there. In all, I thought the food was very good and portioned appropriately, but a bit on the expensive side — including tip, it was about $ 50 for brunch.

Today was the best experience we had had in a long time with a local RESTURANT. Wes was the most amazing help and gentlemen. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He also made suggestions. Amazing. I would come back and let him pick my menu. He made our experience great. Thanks u so much Wes. We will be back !!

Really wanted to LOVE this place but could not, for the life of me, find anything on their menu that TASTED really good. Attempted to try it for brunch, lunch and dinner. Presentation is esthetically appealing, but when it comes right down to flavor, I really wonder if the chef has tasted his food. Smoked salmon on potato pancakes for brunch was mediocre at best. The hot veggie small plates are creatively offered but lack in taste. Quesadilla was bland and unexciting. Today, my final visit to this restaurant, exhibited extreemely poor service, overpriced entrees/side dishes and disappointing flavors once again. We tried five different items between the two of us in a final effort to find SOMETHING redeeming about this place! The butternut squash soup was horrible and overly seasoned with cinnamon. Sent it back. Next, the«flat bread» was served cold, on a piece of cracker bread, with some raw mushrooms strewn across the top as a garnish. Next, the shrimp quinoa was disappointing and smelled horribly fishy. Finally, the avocado toast was delivered to our table approximately 30 minutes after the rest of the items were delivered. Although it was the best of all the items we ordered, it was overly saturated in olive oil and the imitation crabmeat on top was not fresh. Spend your time and your dollars elsewhere.

After reading great reviews, I was super excited about this place! Wanted to try everything on their brunch menu, unfortunately they were serving only lunch but we still had some delicious dishes. The quinoa with grilled veggies was awesome as well as the beet ginger juice, grilled mushroom stir fry and a noodle dish. Such a clean slick restaurant with cool vibe. As part of a group, I was able to sample a wide range of the menu, and also hear the enthusiasm chef Andriola has for this concept, which is well suited to Sunny Isles: home of the beautiful and affluent. I had Heirloom carrots with pistachio purée, cumin crisp and carrot top harissa(a crowd favorite); Zucchini fritters with green tomato and basil marmalade(really liked, but would ask for the fritter to be crispier next time); Whipped pine nut ricotta with pomegranate, French breakfast radish and baby sorrel(also excellent — served in Chinese soup spoon); Jicama, blue crab and avocado tacos with poblano crema & micro cilantro, and Spicy tuna and quinoa«finger» rolls. After that warm up I enjoyed the items in the posted picture. The beets were fantastic! Made me ask«why don’t I eat more beets?» Why don’t I GROW beets? These were described as «Marinated local beets with fresh horseradish and Kite Hill almond ricotta». I describe it as «lick the plate.» Next came«Crispy yellowtail snapper with Harpke Family Farm lacinato kale, slow roasted cauliflower and grapefruit-nasturtium ‘butter’.» Have to pause here to explain that the concept of the restaurant is to serve foods as natural and unadulterated as possible, and to avoid drinking milk from other animals(chef Tim is right: this is a little weird for us humans to do), so things like«cheese» and«butter» and«chocolate» are all re-engineered in ways that boggle my mind. Back to the snapper: like sister restaurant TIMO next door, this kitchen knows how to cook a fish. Finally came«Michelle’s famous raw chocolate pâté with raw cacao and mixed berry sorbet» again you see some extreme creativity in the use of avocado to make a chocolate that really emphasizes cocoa, and not milk. All this in a beautiful and modern open-concept room that was full on a Tuesday night. If I was a rich occupant of one of the thousands of condos nearby, I’d be here several times a week.

This place is different… It is for the«vegan» «healthy» type of people. So, I guess I could fit there too… This place is very clean, large and nicely decorated… Several tables outside as well. As for food, there are lots of healthy choices… I was disappointed with the Quinoa, they had a black quinoa a few months back and changed it to the white quinoa… Did they also change the recipe? This one was ok, but not what I came in for… The salmon was ok, a motch overcooked, but tasty and ok! The fish tacoes were also quite good… All in all this place can be visited multiple times… Enjoy

We were big fans of Basil Park in the time we spent in the area. We ate here 2 – 3 times during the one week we spent in the Sunny Isles area. Basil Park had a very diverse, yet mostly healthy option driven menu. We loved the veggie side options. Our dishes were all executed well and tasted great. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. They have a decent beer list(for Florida) and plenty of reasonably priced wine options. All in all the food and drink here were a good value. We will make sure to visit again when we are in the area.

Awesome! Cafeteria feel restaurant with friendly and knowledgeable staff and a menu that offers many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, but they don’t even advertise it as such. For example, the pancakes just say«blueberry pancakes» on the menu, but they are actually gluten-free, made with quinoa and sorghum flour. They have a bit of a nutty, slightly bitter taste, but the texture was great, and they were filling. The desserts are amazing, The raw chocolate fondant is more of a chocolate cheesecake. Not too sweet, decadent, rich and a big portion. And the best part? It’s raw, it’s vegan and paleo friendly. Equally insane was the warm apple tart with an oat and walnut crust, caramel sauce and a coconut ice-cream. They do put egg yolk in the ice cream to make it unctuous, but no dairy. Loved this dessert. Our waitress had an amazing knowledge of what foods went inside each dish, which she patiently explained to us. Iff you have food intolerances and/or dietary restrictions, this is one of those rare places in South Florida where you’ll actually find something to eat. They miraculously manage to make your forget you’re eating something healthy. It’s guilt-free comfort food.
