We are so lucky for Sunderland to have this outstanding little market. Prices are reasonable and the quality is top notch. If you live anywhere from Hadley to Deerfield make Millstone your regular stop.

For a small town without a developed downtown, Sunderland has a wonderful local market. It is located on Main Street and offers most of the basics at a price that can compete with any of the large chains. Whole Food enthusiasts, I am talking to you. It has become part of my Sunday routine where we walk to the market, pick up all the fixings for Sunday dinner and the essentials for the week. I go to the larger area markets to pick up anything else I might need. It has a great section of meats (whole chickens, stuffed pork chops, deli meats, etc), local veggies and fruits, an impressive selection of spices and fresh (warm) local breads. In addition to all that, I can get local milk, butter, bird seed, bread, eggs and other kitchen basics. If you want local food, I’d suggest stopping by.
