A very long time ago Easy’s used to be an almost fun place to visit. They made pizza and broasted chicken along with a few other little fast food items. It was pretty tasty too. There was even a couple of gas tanks to fuel up on. It was a convenience store so the stock was limited and always overpriced. however when you needed a quick something to grab or it was a holiday and the major stores were closed this was a great little place to grab something. Many changes of ownership and years have changed this rustic place to an icky run down convenience store sans the nice pizza and broasted chicken and gas tanks. I only go there now when there’s absolutely no other choice for me.

Recently came here on a trip to Sugarloaf. I expected prices to be higher up the mountain than down… But as a non local I had major sticker shock. Two boxes of frozen fried chicken cost me $ 23. Other prices where not as shocking. Top ramen cost $ 1 instead of the 33¢ I’m used to. Definitely not this store’s fault, but just a head’s up for non locals. The main point of this three star review is that I wish this store had larger variety. We came in because we left our ground turkey and grilled chicken at home accidentally, and no where in this store was anything fresh. We wanted to have a salad but there wasn’t lettuce. I’m not sure where people in Sugarloaf buy unprocessed food.

Looking like something out of a horror film, I finally got brave enough to step on in. To my surprise, this is one great liquor store that has a little bit of everything. When I say a little, I mean little of everything. In the morning, the hot plates have ZERO(can you throw me a breakfast burrito), but in the evening this thing has MEAT on it… REALMEAT. Yes! Plenty of parking, and nice gents that work here. Stabbing? Killing? Maybe not after all.

This is just down the street from Dad in Laws place, and although I agree with some of the reviews in that it is kind of pricey, it sure beats driving into town for milk… you would spend that much for gas and of course frustration… They do have everything you could ask for, even a Hookah pipe. I can’t say I would do my weekly shop here for Cecil, but if you need something in a pinch, they are bound to have it.

What did you forget to bring to the cabin? Ketchup? A sled? A pen? Liquor? Floss? A frozen dinner? snow chains? Well, whatever — they have it. You might have to search around the interesting placement of merchandise — but I am pretty darn sure you will find it. Whatever«it» is! CONVENIENCE. That is the word to sum up Easy’s General Store.

Easy’s is hard on the wallet! This store takes total advantage of the location and the fact that it is the only store in Sugarloaf! A regular dozen of eggs will cost 3.99(not organic) is this guys kidding? Note look at the date on the beer too what a rip off Id rather chew nails than give this guy anymore of my money! If I had money i would open a store in same area and charge normal prices! Buyer beware and stay away!

Cash only! Easy’s is just that, easy. Very convenient for folks in Sugarloaf. You don’t have to go into town for milk, eggs, etc. I would not do any serious shopping here as it is way above average in price. I had the unfortunate experience of paying $ 7 for a plunger at 6:30AM on a Sunday morning, but I’m willing to pay for the convenience if it’s an emergency. I asked the guy if I could bring it back when I was done, he didn’t get the joke. Easy’s is okay by me.

Perfect if you are in Sugarloaf.(Big Bear City) ‘Easy’s’ has all the basics you may need. Much more convenient than going into ‘town’, but if you have no need to be in Sugarloaf, you will not find this place too useful. I agree about the chicken, it is good n greasy. And the potato wedges are great. The perfect place to shot in after drink across the street at the ‘Roadhouse’(Sugarloafer).
