Food is decent. Service is not great. We’ve had someone named Grace a number of times and she has been rude and inaccurate every time. It’s unfortunate.

Food is Taco Bell warmed up. Service is good, you will be angry to pay so much for the nasty food

Not the best Mexican food I’ve had, but decent food. The people who work here are very friendly, the prices are reasonable, good location, and decent ambiance.

After a long day I wanted Mexican food so I stopped at Frontera. Had the Tacos de asada with the black beans and I was not disappointed. My dining partner had the Thursday special Chicken burrito al carbon it was delisioso! Give Frontera a try!

Service is usually very good, but the kitchen needs an overhaul. The quick preparation and lack of any care is obvious. It is what it is «cheap mex», but bland and tossing together ingredients haphazardly is obvious. Don’t even cut a fajita and ingredients on «inside» not even mixed together. … kid nachos — I can’t imagine how to screw up, but they kind of did.

LOVEIT! I’m a regular. Eat here all the time. It’s a great place to get great food that never changes! The Xotchil Soup(chicken soup) is awesome! Good prices and great specials! Great food!

I visited this location and could not understand why there were poor reviews. We arrived five minutes prior to closing and NEVER felt rushed or at a loss for customer service. The free cheese dip offer from Unilocal arrived with amazing salsa and warm tortilla chips! The owner had a pleasant sense of humor and the menu had loads to choose from. Our food was fresh, delicious and the portions were huge. The décor was inviting with a nice bar and flat screen televisions. There was a special on the pomegranate margarita and I was happy to oblige! It was delicious as well. Needless to say, with great service, great value and good food, I plan to return and you should too!

I don’t know why so many say the food is bland. The food tastes great. I have had problems with poor service the last few times I’ve been here. The combo #3 is fabulous with a cheese enchilada!

Friendly service. Horrible, disgusting, shockingly bad food. I’m actually speechless

Service is hit or miss. Tables are crammed together so they can sit more customers. Food is fair. Cheese dip usually hardness shortly after it is brought out, have had to get reheated several times. They have live music every so often but because the restaurant is small it is very loud.

Placed an order for pick up and went to get it 10 minutes after I placed the order. The sliced chicken on my Burrito Al Carbon was over cooked or old, because it was very ruff and hard. Also the cheese dip was runny like water. This is the second time I’ve eaten here and both time I’ve had challenges with the chicken and the cheese dip.

Sadly, I thought the food at Frontera was really gross. Bad greasy tasting meat and yucky cheese. I’m not that picky about Mexican food, but this was just not good. The service was lacking too.

The absolute best server is Kasey! She is great with your order and wants to make it right. Follow that with a great smiling, personality and you will make sure you ask for her on your next visit.

If I could rate this place in service alone, I’d give it 5 stars every time… fast, friendly, clean, superb every time. Too bad I feel compelled to take their food into account… it’s often underwhelming with a spotty chance of bad This time I got the street tacos and aside from being cold, the meat was as tough as a cowboy in pink boots. I’ve enjoyed as many dishes here as I have been disappointed by and when I’m disappointed it’s usually that I just expected more not that it’s just bad. The one«bad» dish I had and sent back was almost immediately pulled from the menu(either I’ve got clout or the same taste as the rest of the patrons). If you are out with the kids and need a quick, easy, cheap lunch in the Sugar Hill area, you could do worse. Oh yea, and if you’re a burgeoning competitive eater, the El Gigante burrito is just the ticket, all the hoopla and free schwag that goes along with a very do-able challenge. Enjoy!

Only good things about this place were the service, the portions, and the prices. Flavor wise, the kids did not want to eat their beef tacos, ceviche should be avoided, and the crazy taco was bland. Meh.

The previous outfit at this location was a Mexican restaurant which left(literally) a bad taste in my mouth, as in porcelain throne hugging two hours after eating. Every time I passed by this location for the next year, random thoughts of fire bombing after hours crossed my mind. Happily, they went out of business shortly thereafter, probably due to the hospitalizations of most of their customers. A few months ago, I noticed the Frontera sign on the front and wondered if hobgoblins of putridity still haunted the place. Today, mainly because there were no restaurants open for lunch in this area except McD’s and American Waffle, I hitched my belt up and walked in. Friendly reception, nice corporate menu even down to having a Speedy Gonzales lunch item. I decided on two shredded chicken enchiladas with rice and lettuce, tomato, sour cream and guac on the side. The plate came with the food nicely presented. In an interesting twist, I ended up liking the rice better than the enchiladas. The shredded lettuce had a green blob of guac topped by sour cream(where’s that pigeon near the ceiling?) and a forlorn half slice of tomato sitting to one side. The enchilada sauce was too strongly weighted with chili powder. The enchiladas were stuffed with a little bit of dry chicken. The good news is that 7 hours have passed and I haven’t puked yet.
