Stopped by this location for take out. Would not be back. The manager was aggravated that it took me 1 minute to make a decision. He mumbled something to the kid preparing the sub. They manager disappeared in the back room and the kid was staring at him as he ducked behind the couner? Acted like little school girls. No trust in this place but at least the dog ate well that day.

I have had a great experience with these guys. Not fancy gourmet pizza(obviously) but still very good and a fraction of the price of the fancier places — so why bother paying up? They also deliver rain, sleet or snow. I am a big fan of the garden salad with buffalo chicken on top. It’s surprisingly fresh and flavorful. Don’t understand why all the low ratings. I mean, it’s fast food — what do you expect? You’re not going to get white gloved service but it certainly gets the job done, and done well!

Late Sunday night, hubby and I decided to stop by for a quick pizza pick up after a long day! We have a Rewards card, since we have always been loyal Papa Gino’s patrons. After recently moving to the neighborhood, this would be our first visit to this location. We asked the cashier whether there were any coupons we could use, to which he promptly replied«no». After paying the full $ 20.58 for an x-large pizza, we picked up a flyer off their own counter, offering $ 2 off an x-large pizza, which is what we had ordered. In the meantime we decided to get a drink and asked whether we could use the $ 2 off coupon on the purchase we had just made, as well as to purchase the drink. We were shocked when the manager, Kevin, shouted from the back of the store that we could not use the coupon today, but could use it on our next visit and that the drink would be $ 1.99! Seriously? Next time? I don’t think so! I am beyond shocked with the lack of customer service of this location, after many visits of excellent service at the Natick location. Judging by the star rating of this location, we are not the first unhappy customers. I would urge corporate to take a look into the current management and lack of customer service/friendliness in this location. Customers lost until something serious is done to rectify this!

I sometimes go here for lunch because it’s convenient. The food is pretty good, but seems wicked expensive. The only real problem I have with the place is how slow they are, it takes friggin forever to get your order.

I am very torn here. On the one hand — Papa Gino’s(or as my friend Stu K. would call it «Papa G’s») is a staple of the Route 20 restuarant scene, or as I like to call it: «The Restaurant Riviera.» It’s been around for a while, and you cannot mess with the loyal following that it has. But on the other hand, why oh why would you ever get rid of the Papa Platter??? I know people(shout out to Jeff C.) that are quite upset about this. The fancy pants pizzas don’t cut it for some of us, so I implore the good folks at Papa G’s to continue their search for culinary perfection in a pan, but stick with the old favorites as well.

My friend and I ordered delivery from there on 11/25, and when our food arrived it was cold and disgusting. They also forgot to include our drinks, which we paid for. I didn’t think much of it and threw our food into the microwave since we were starving and had to make due with what we had. We both agreed that the food tasted like rubbish, but it wasn’t until I had to pull a LONGBLONDEHAIR out of my mouth after biting into my chicken finger that I had officially had enough. I immediately called the Papa Ginos in Sudbury back, and the manager on duty apoogized and said that he would give me a full refund and a credit to my account for my next visit. Two weeks later, and I had yet to recieve my refund. I figured it would take a few days to process, but I called the company back on 12⁄3 to ask what the deal was. This time when I asked to speak to a manager I was directed toa different guy who was no help and barely spoke clear English, and told me that I would have to call back on Wednesday to speak to «Kevin». So not only was he no help, but I would have to call back yet AGAIN to try to hunt them down and give me a refund that I was told I would recieve for the food that was I was so disgusted by I threw in the trash. I decided to file a complaint with Papa Ginos Corporate online. I finally called the Papa Gino’s in Sudbury back today and spoke to «Kevin» who said that I had recieved my $ 30 credit for a future visit to Papa Ginos. I do not want a credit for this place. I intend to never go back and make sure nobody else I know goes back either. Upon the end of the phone call I was told that my refund should be all set, but I’ll believe it when I see it. I am truly DISGUSTED by the food, service, and treatment I recieved from this place and I would only reccomend it to someone if they enjoy almost swallowing someone else’s hair in their food and then enjoy getting the run around when you try to get your money back.

Be prepared, this is a scathing review. To start off, I have been coming here each Sunday for the past few months. Always loved it. Always quiet during the day. I arrive today with a friend. We ordered an Italian sub and bread sticks. After a few errors in making a simple sub they get it right after an hour. I swear to you they were all stoned. I spoke to the manager who even had bloodshot eyes! They had to have all been wasted as evidence they could not get a simple order right that took forever. I was shocked. I am never coming here again. The manager gave us a full refund and I took the order to go. The sub went right in the trash the moment I got home. I did not want to take my chances eating a sub made by teenage delinquents. I am calling corporate and filing a formal complaint. 6 Month update: I did contact corporate and they were very kind and apologized profusely for the issues I had. I however have not been back since. Hopefully they cleaned up the staff there.

I hate to be cranky, but we waited 35 – 40 minutes for 2 pizzas and 2 salads… with 2 kids, it was total mayhem. There was no feedback from the mgr., but they did bring it over to the table, which was nice I guess. It’s a Papa Ginos, but abit of feedback would have been helpful! I leftt wishing they served beer… the wait was rough. Abit of distraction would have been helpful!
